Balance



  • Added 1 extra enemy mage in the stop the summoning encounter.
  • Nerfed Magic missile. Cooldown 5s-> 8s
  • Golem is now immune to bleeding.
  • Charm levell 1 has been buffed. Duration 4s-> 5.5 s
  • Charm levell 2 has been buffed. Duration 6s-> 7.5 s
  • Now stealing the goblins in the volcano lowers your Greenskin standing.
  • Golem attack area increased.
  • Now it´s easier to get inside the Elduin Tower. (Standing 125 with elves).


Minor details



  • Improved yeti snow generation time.
  • Water elemental stays in place when moving the camera.
  • Dead enemies and heroes stay longer on screen now.
  • Some buildings in the desert were slightly out of position.


Bugs



  • Unlock points were lost loading a game.
  • Upgraded lightning could crash the game.
  • During the tutorial one message was active all the time.
  • Unlocks were not stored when leaving the game.


Visual Improvements



  • Tooltips for weapons and abilities reworked.
  • Special menus have been updated.

Patch 26: View standing.

New patch there!!
Biggest change: now you can see your standing with each faction, so it´s easy to track what you can expect in each encounter.

  • Added tooltip on enemies, so that you get some insight on the enemy.

  • Bleeding doesn´t affect undead anymore. It makes sense...

  • Changed starting equippment for Hero thieves. Now both start with daggers.
  • Changed starting ability for Hero thieves. One starts with oil and the other with the net.
  • Decreased amount of camps in the Northern Mountains.
  • Escape portal now doesn't cost any blessing.
  • Ice giant attack speed greatly increased. 16.5s-> 3.1s
  • Removed boomstick as starting item.
  • Increased small staggering duration. 100ms->150ms
  • Frost cloak now has a cooldown untill it can be activated again.
  • Ice giant snow is generated 0.25s earlier.
  • Limited enemies in the desert so that they are snake men.

Bugs



  • The cleric from the gold thieves was not carrying any weapon.
  • Sphinx in the desert could not be visited.
  • Weird effect clicking a hero face while casting pyroblast.
  • Wrong location for area spells if you change hero while on pause.
  • If you buy multiple standing perks at the game start, only one worked.
  • When having goblins fighting on your side, some of them could be out of the combat zone.
  • If multiple standing messages are displayed at the same time, the value can be wrong.
  • Missing spikes in golem combat.
  • Oil ability was not obtained in the portal reward.
  • Dodge ability was not obtained in the portal reward.
  • Antimagic potion didn't work.

  • Trolls changed. Armor: Medium -> Light
  • Trolls nerfed. +50% extra damage from fire.

  • Fire staff, ignis reworked, now it doesnt stun in an area but with the regular attack (single target).
  • The quest to kill the ogre now only appears on height 1 or 2.
  • Troll now can only appear on height 3 or higher.
  • Now water removes burning effect (previously it only decreased fire damage and avoided getting the burning effect while wet)
  • Greatly improved Avatar summoning.

Bugs



  • Corrected issue showing wrong after and post level menus.
  • Trolls were permanently stopped if affected by freeze effect.
  • You could get stuck in a menu after trying to poison Ugur and failing.
  • You could get the clerics invitation t the desert without helping them.
  • Trolls ignored dodge.
  • Cold attacks were not producing the desired effect on wet enemies.
  • Corrected some minor issues with Scorpion.


Visual Improvements



  • Improved world map traveling. Now it should be easier to understand the options.

Patch 24. Achievements and fire.



New patch there!! Achievements, new encounter in the desert, big improvement to fire damage, and much more!!

  • New item. Agility potion.
  • Added 11 new Steam achievements.
  • New encounter on the desert. The Ancient Ones.
  • If you awaken the Ancient Ones, you will get access to a new menu with clerical powers.
  • Scorpion tail now can be killed.
  • Ugur camp has been modified.


Functionality



  • Now you can see individual leadership values hoovering over the leadership bar.
  • Added level up notification when you level up.
  • Tooltips and cost added to the Blackhorn and Greenskin menus.
  • Now locked items show the tooltip.



Balance



  • Fire damage over time vastly increased. Now increasing the fire level is much better. The average damage per second changed according to this:
    L1: 12-> 12 (No change)
    L2: 15-> 17
    L3: 18-> 27
    L4: 21-> 40
    L5: 25-> 61
    L6: 31-> 90
    L7: 37-> 137
  • Previously heroes were seriously staggered when they received more than 40 damage in a single hit. This value now is much higher, and depends on the hero. 65 Everyone, but the warriors. 85 for them.
  • Nerfed elves ice arrow. Slow 60% -> 36%
  • Buffed Leather armor. 10 -> 20
  • Buffed Plate armor. 15 -> 20


Minor details



  • Changed message when you escape from a combat.
  • Some unused images removed.


Bugs



  • Some steps of quests were not visible on the quest menu.
  • Wind horn was not moving enemies that were close to you.
  • If you resurrect during the tutorial, you can not finish it.
  • After resurrecting and loading, the character faces overlapped.
  • You could see the burrowed scorpion hoovering the mouse over him.


Visual Improvements



  • The Demon summoning has been visually improved. (Now you see the demon, being invoked, and some other details)
  • Added arrows on lightning ball, so that you see you can move the ball.
  • Multiple messages in the tutorial improved.
  • Changed text with the hero type for the face of the hero when you can use a menu item because you have an specific hero.

Patch 23: Big patch!! Resurrection, boss and new option.



Hi, big changes this time!!!!

Resurrection, new boss, and a surprise that will add new options if you help the right people.

Content



  • New boss. Scorpion man. At the end of the desert.
  • Now you can get help from the Blackhorn Clan and the Greenskins depending on your actions. You can get this options in the northern region, and it will change vastly your game.


Functionality



  • Added option to resurrect one team member after a fight if you survive with at least one team member.
  • Added button to see your inventory while you are in a shop.
  • Now quest tab works in a different way. Easier to navigate and understand.
  • Unlock menu has been changed slightly.



Balance



  • The Ice giant ability, "Ice area" has been nerfed. Time until the attack appears has been increased by 1.5 seconds, giving enough time to move away from the area.
  • Removed Fire salamander from combat against the Mage assassin.
  • Now sleep and hungry level is not affected by difficulty.
  • Magic missile has been nerfed. 20% less damage.
  • Now you can resurrect dead heroes.
  • Changed some standing values for helping the Greenskin and Blackhorn Clans.


Minor details



  • Some texts where not properly aligned.
  • Removed button that displays next ability bar when you only have one.
  • Ruins tooltip changed.
  • Changed location for Vrotgur fight.


Bugs



  • Multiple problems with difficulty change solved. Wrong amount of resources, difficulty clicking hard difficulty (That was not supposed to be hard...)
  • Some enemies had more dodge than intended in the lake combat.
  • Game loading was showing lava region even if it was not activated.
  • Fixed exception when a potion was dragged over the character image.
  • Oil (Item and ability) appeared under the character if the player used the shortkey instead of the mouse. Now it will appear on the chosen location.
  • Sound and volume had missing the background image.
  • Pyroblast now targets the floor instead of an enemy.
  • When someone teleported, armour was visible in the wrong place.

  • Water elemental ability icon resized.
  • Added leadership face to the Mage assassin.

Patch 22: Elduin tower and bug fixing.

Hi, a new patch is there. Multiple bugs fixed, with some possible nasty crashes solved. Many visual (minor) changes and more content on the forest.

  • New step to the "Stop the summoning" quest is presented. Not all the details completed.
  • Now you can find a cleric in the desert. Depending on you standing with the clerics she may join your group.
  • Added a reward at each portal. You can choose between ability, item, or resources. That change also affects the balance.
  • Added content to the Elduin Tower. The elves will ask you for a cure for their sickness.

We have added new enemies, improved the desert paths and some more things. The details:

Content



  • Desert paths redone. Now the map is longer and has more options.
  • Improved options after cage combat.
  • Removed cleric as random ally. She will only be available in one encounter.
  • Added yeti as enemy in the north in the third region.
  • Updated the encounter in the first forest, where you can save the King of elves.


Balance



  • Now the second step of "The Summoning" can only appear on the second region. Previously it could appear on the first, and then it´s too hard.

  • Some menus didn't have title.


Bugs



  • Some menu items where slightly shifted.
  • After loading a game, the same event could happen again.
  • Possible problem with some locales solved.

  • One of the clerics messages has been modernized.
  • Some item names were out of the object card.

  • Updated frozen region, to look like a frozen region and not like generic plains.

Patch 20: Major bug fixed and North improved.



Hi, a new patch is there.
A major bug with some sound cards have been fixed. The game was crashing after some minutes running with some sound cards.
We also have improved the Northern mountains adding new encounters and improve some other details.

  • Updated descriptions of quests and improved quest display.
  • Changed "Defend the cage" combat, and added explanation of the rules of the combat.
  • Added an encounter in the northern mountains. You can meet Vrotgur´s expedition.
  • Added an encounter in the northern mountains. An emissary from Chalishae has a proposal for you.
  • Added encounter at the end of the forest in the second height.
  • Added encounter at the end of the swamp in the second height.


Functionality



  • Added explanation about the regions of the world map.
  • Pyroblast has been reworked and corrected. Now an area on the ground is created that will explode after a short time.

Patch 19. The King of undead is coming

  • Added ability that will be available when there are not more abilities of that type. You can get that last ability multiple times.
  • Prepared first version of the statue of the King of undead.
  • Multiple changes to the Tavern. Fonts changed, healing info properly displayed, some buttons changed...


Balance



  • Balanced sword damage increased. 26 -> 47
  • Changed net, so that it can´t miss if the target is moving.
  • Lighting II speed reduced. 250 -> 150
  • Lighting II size increased.


Bugs



  • Ice giants were not appearing in north region, but they were intended to appear.
  • If you load a savegame having the health perk the health bar is bigger than the maximum size.
  • In some cases getting the Dark health perk didn't decrease dodge.
  • You could find the stolen gold twice.


Minor Details



  • Increased precision of oil thrown by the goblins.
  • Some menus didn't have a tittle.
  • Changed multiple details in the unlock menu.
  • Now locked items are shown on the starting menu.


Visual Changes



  • Modernized mages message.
  • Added visual indicator when an action can be done because of a character.

  • Added new encounter. Bridge in he forest at height 3. With trolls, of course.
  • Added new ability to warrior. Bladestorm.
  • There is a new combat when you decide that you don´t want to free the gold thief captured by the orcs.
  • New encounter in the forest at height 2. The gold thieves that escaped with the gold.


Functionality



  • Now you can use abilities from the beginning of a combat instead of having to wait for the cooldown. (Some exceptions apply on very strong abilities)
  • Changed how unlocks work. Now you unlock things when you die or finish the game instead of after each region.


Balance



  • Now using a portal to travel doesn´t use time.
  • Removed reward from chased combats. You should go fast to avoid them, not getting loot from them.
  • Reduced amount of unlock points after the tutorial.
  • Improved extra damage of 2H sword, and price lowered.
  • Fire arrow cooldown improved. 30 -> 18


Performance



  • In-game videos modified, so that they are not slow on low spec computers.


Change of scope



  • Removed "coming soon" option for the thief and cleric group. They will not be an starting option for release. They are playable right now, but not from the beginning. You must recruit them.


Bugs



  • The amount of food available in taverns was not properly updated.
  • Corrected belt cooldown at the beginning of the combat.
  • Corrected wrong name on first region when loading a saved game.
  • Armour value was not displayed on the inventory.
  • Warnings in the inventory were not removed.
  • Some dynamic costs were not properly displayed.

  • Some spelling corrections.
  • Small changes on tutorial texts.
  • Multiple locations name corrected and added missing ones.
  • Tooltips for gems and blessings in combat were not in the right position.
  • Changed how the unlocks after the tutorial are obtained.

  • Changed the indication about what is easy to find in the swamp.
  • Tooltip on reward screen now appear on all the card an not only on the item.
  • Added info to Book of the dead about the extra mana it provides. (120)
