Unfortunately, I've been running a ton of sales and discounts lately, so I am not allowed to do any at this time, but I'll run some more in the near future as soon as I'm able! ːAflashlightː

Lawless Lands September 11th-18th Week Sale!
Lawless Lands
Hey everyone!
This is a heads up that Lawless Lands and a bunch of the DLC for it are on sale for this week!
I'm back today with another QOL update to make the game a little more user friendly and to improve some of the features that made things frustrating sometimes. I have been trying to go back and look for common feedback to improve the overall quality of the game.
These changes will affect the main game and the expansion.
The update will be live shortly.
Update 2.5.7 Change Log:
Changes & Additions:
Increased the time between supply loss by 35% (It's almost twice as long between ticks and means they last a lot longer)
Doubled the base stamina amount (150 --> 300)
That's all for now!

8/3/23 - Community Request Update 2.5.6 (Save Anywhere Freely)
Lawless Lands
Hey guys!
I've added an item to the base game and expansion that will be given to you automatically when starting a new character, or if you have an existing save for the base game - you just need to go to Pyrshen Hospital once more, and in the expansion with an existing save - return to your Home in Ravlova. It's named "Personal Journal" and will show up in the Plot section of your inventory. It can be used ANYTIME and is UNLIMITED. You can HOTKEY the item to one of the quick slot keys so you don't have to pull up your menu every time.
So, yeah, I'm finally implementing this as a base feature that probably should have been in the game from the beginning, but I had my reasons as to why it wasn't added previously. I wanted there to be some consequence and risk when doing things and making choices without so much save scumming being possible, but I also feel like that should be left up to the player. I feel like after hearing a lot of different opinions on this, a more "hands off" approach is best.
This will of course make the beds in game less important, along with blank books, prayer books, adventuring kits, and other items used for saving. It's up to the player if they want to use this new item or stay with the way the game was originally intended, but at least now you have that choice to make for yourself. It is your choice.
I listen to all community feedback - good and bad. I don't implement all of it, especially if it completely changes the game and my vision for it, but in this case here, I think this was for the best for everyone to be able to enjoy it as they see fit. You bought the game, you should enjoy it how you want.
The update will be live shortly.
Update 2.5.6 Change Log:
Changes & Additions:
Added Personal Journal Community Request Plot Item (Save anywhere and at anytime)
Added Personal Journal to inventory after character creation (Main game and expansion)
Added methods to the main game and expansion to auto-add the new item for existing saves (Pyrshen Hospital - Main Game, Home in Ravlova - Expansion)
That's all for now!

7/20/23 - Lawless Lands Update 2.5.5
Lawless Lands
Hey everyone.
I got notified about an issue a few hours ago so here is a patch for the base game and the expansion to resolve the issue. I've also included a change to further reduce the darkness in the game so it's overall easier to see based on continued feedback.
Update 2.5.5 Change Log:
Bug Fixes:
FIXED a rare issue that could happen in certain locations on the world map with loading the correct battle background which could result in a crash
Changes & Additions:
Reduced the grey factor in the environment by roughly 10% across the board
Reduced the darkness modifier on all the colors in the environment by roughly 5% each
NOTE: This update will be available shortly.
Please let me know of any issues you may run into so I can continue to fix them and improve the game. Yes, I will continue improving the game as time goes on, just like my other projects.
That's all for now!

6/28/23 - Lawless Lands Update 2.5.4 (More Brightness Tweaks Based On Feedback)
6/28/23 - Lawless Lands Update 2.5.4 (More Brightness Tweaks Based On Feedback)
Hey everyone.
Based on continued feedback and my own testing, I've decided to release another patch here to further increase the brightness and visibility of the game. Take in mind that rain and storms will still hamper visibility slightly, but the default values for the visibility in game have been adjusted to be less intense. The world modifier that lowers visibility slightly still functions as normal, just reducing visibility by about 10% of what the current value is. I feel that these changes still retain the dark and grim feeling of the game, but will help to make it less frustrating and claustrophobic in terms of being able to see the environment.
This update applies for the main game and the expansion.
Update 2.5.4 Change Log:
Changes & Additions:
Decreased the base opacity of the fog of war by ~10%
Decreased the base opacity of the rolling fog visual effect by ~10%
Increased the default values for vision radius preference for all settings by ~5% (You can change your vision distance preference in the preferences tab of the character record item in the plot section of your inventory)
Decreased the default values for fog of war opacity preference for all settings by ~5% (You can change your fog of war opacity preference in the preferences tab of the character record item in the plot section of your inventory)
Updated the values listed and changed inside the preferences tab of the character record item to reflect the above changes
