It's Official - Lawless Lands Steam Deck Compatibility!

Hey everyone!
This is just a heads up that Lawless Lands is now officially recognized by Steam as being compatible with the Steam Deck and is now visible on the store page!
It has been listed as playable - everything works as it should, but it doesn't show controller buttons in game! You can of course change them though by using the Steam Deck/Steam Controller binding configuration utilities at will!
Because Lawless Lands uses the same engine, code, and configuration as my other games, Chaos Chain, Disgraced, and Waste Walkers, they are also playable and will be officially announced soon!
Also, because my games use the steam cloud, this means that you can play your game on your computer, save the game, and then pick up right where you left off on your steam deck the next time you play!

Corrosive Studios Steam Publisher Page Live!

I wanted to stop by and let you all know that if you're interested, I have a publisher page live on Steam!

I got a message that there was a potential issue with regeneration/degeneration percentages that were resulting in numbers being below 0 and so nothing was happening such as health regenerating at very low values. This update resolves that issue and now, all regeneration/degeneration values are rounded to the nearest integer instead of automatically rounding down. This update applies for the Lawless Lands base game and the Unrest expansion as well.
This change may seem minor, but the result of the change in practice should greatly affect healing and damaging status effects as well as passive regeneration, so this is a pretty significant change.

4/19/23 - "Fear of the Dark" Update 2.5.2
Lawless Lands
Hey everyone!
I got some feedback that I wanted to incorporate into the game. As such, the rolling fog opacity has been reduced slightly and the vision distance has also been slightly increased along with the overall vision opacity being reduced so you can see more, further, and easier. This update applies to both the main game and the Unrest expansion. As per usual with updates like this, this patch is obviously free and part of my continued attempt to use feedback from the community to make the game ever better.
Update 2.5.2 Change Log:
Changes & Additions:
Reduced rolling fog opacity by roughly 10%
Increased vision distance slightly before it begins to fade into darkness
Decreased opacity of the vision distance fade slightly
Added a very slight blue tint to the vision fog opacity for the base game and a slight green tint for the expansion so they aren't just pure black

4/13/23 - Lawless Lands Update 2.5.1

Greetings, volunteers!
Someone on our Discord told me that one of the quests was not specific enough in detailing the objective associated and I completely agree - it was too vague. This patch fixes that. Note that it may not automatically update the description in the journal for you if you already have the quest "From the Treeline" in an existing save. I also added a hint as a reminder once you get to the location about how to go about doing the objective and updated the dialogue with the quest giver to be more specific.

Updated Captain Falk's dialogues related to the "From the Treeline" side quest to be more specific and informative
Added a hint for how to complete the objective for the "From the Treeline" side quest once you get to the location and deal with the problem there

Hey everyone, this is kind of unfortunate that I've had to do this now, but I wrapped the game files with some piracy countermeasures.
My games have long been pirated and distributed illegally on various sites and platforms and with how cheap they are, how hard I work on them, and how little I actually make, I am at the point where I feel like something needs to be done. The damage from years of this taking place is already done, but moving forward, I'm doing this from now on to try to protect myself and my work.
What this means: nothing for you if you own the game legitimately. All it does is update some files to protect against digital piracy. If you had the game from another source, it probably means nothing for you as well at the moment. But further piracy will be hindered at the very least.
