Welcome to the island of Ithaca, where heroes and monsters fight for their lives. We'll take a closer look at the characters in this epic tale of courage, sacrifice, and honor in this devlog. Each character brings their own strengths and weaknesses to the fight against the hordes of monsters that are threatening the island, from the young, underappreciated gate captain Dio to the wise, advisor Nestor. So come along with us on this journey as we learn more about the backbones of this ancient epic story.
⚔️ Dio
Although Dio is young and comes from humble beginnings, his leadership and combat skills are unparalleled. He gives his all to protecting his city and motivating his team to persevere in the face of odds. Dio maintains his resolve and unwavering determination in his pursuit of victory despite the constant threat of danger.
🌍 Gaia
Gaia is a god who possesses immense empathy and cares deeply for all living beings.She is revered as a wise and benevolent figure who endeavors to maintain balance in the world. Despite her immense power and ancient origins, she is always willing to assist those who seek her help.
👴 Nestor
Nestor is a seasoned warrior and adviser who has seen it all. He has fought in countless battles and has the scars to prove it. Despite his age, he remains a vital part of the army of Ithaca, lending his knowledge and experience to the fight alongside Dio and his forces.
🛡️ Kephalos
Kephalos may appear to have a lighthearted and carefree personality, but he is also fiercely committed to Dio and his team. He is well-liked by the people of Ithaca for his charisma and generosity, but his true strength is his unwavering devotion to the gatekeepers and their cause.
👵 Old Lady
The old lady is a survivor in the truest sense of the word. She has witnessed the horrors of war firsthand, yet remains determined to help in any way she can. Her bravery and resourcefulness inspire those around her to fight on, even in the darkest of times.

It is with great joy that I bring forth tidings from the battlegrounds of Legendary Hoplite, where the divine beings have bestowed their blessings upon us in abundance. Following a grueling stretch of toil, I am pleased to bring you this news,
Chapter 1 is now finally complete and it comes packed with enemies, mythical creatures, allies, weapons, mini-bosses, SPIDERS, and a final boss.

An additional weapon has been added to your arsenal that can cause widespread damage and effectively alter enemy tactics by striking fear into their hearts through its area of effect capability.

We hope you are had a wonderful holiday season, and are ready for some exciting news from the Island of Ithaca.
Firstly, a lot has changed since the previous enemy update, and we figured to focus on other elements in the game and tidy up things. With that being said, we're finishing off the First Chapter with lot of new environments that will appear going on forward.

New ally has arrived: The Musician
This is a soldier unit with a lot of different support buffs - they very weak and unable to attack. Use these musicians wisely.
And finally, we have a huge new variety of skills to help you defend your walls:
New Hero Skills
Deadly Mark
[expand type="details"]Hero selects an area, then points the spear towards the sky. An effect that will cover the selected area causing enemies in the selection to receive a series of detrimental debuff, including: - Reduced movement speed[/expand]
Charged Throw
[expand type="details"]Hero channels force to throw an extremely powerful spear. The longer it takes - the greater the amount of bonus physical damage[/expand]
Decimate Slash
[expand type="details"]Hero performs a slash in the shape of a cross with a large amount of damage. First it strikes horizontally, then vertically. This functions as 2 consecutive melee slashes but with high attack speed.[/expand]
Recurring Throw [expand type="details"]Hero throws shield that returns forward dealing damage on its way back. The shield will pass through all obstacles and deal damage with knock-back effect on its way forward to enemies it touches.[/expand]
Shield Guard
[expand type="details"]Hero uses skills to shield around himself, upon impact, deal damage to the enemy with a Disarm ratio. The trajectory and velocity of the shield in motion will be circular. [/expand]
Shield Glare
[expand type="details"]The hero uses the light from the Sun God Helios to Blind enemies and slow their Movement Speed (MS). Enemies will regain their movement speed with every second. Enemies Physical Resist will also be reduced during the duration of this debuff.

Wind Wall
[expand type="details"] Hero creates a large wind shield. The shield appears from below the Gate (a bit after the Gate) and goes up at a slow speed. Regardless of the Hero's position when casting this skill, the wind shield will also be in the same position and shape when it appears. While moving upwards, this wind shield pushes all enemies along (regardless of size). When reaching the specified location, the windshield will pass through the enemies dealing a large amount of damage and gradually disappearing.. [/expand]
Mirage
[expand type="details"]The hero creates 2 illusions in the left and right lanes. These 2 illusions will perform the same actions as Hero including: range attack, melee attack, move, idle. The damage from ranged attacks and melee attacks is smaller than Hero's damage and these attacks do not carry effects such as critical, stamina stolen, nor carry the effects of auto-cast skills - only Damage. Illusion has other stats like attack speed like Hero/Illusion but no HP. Instead, they disappear after some time. When Hero performs other actions these illusions will perform action/animation idle. Enemy treats illusion as an attack target. [/expand]
Bronze Muscle
[expand type="details"]The hero buffs himself. Any action - such as attack, move, cast skill will not consume stamina - for the duration of the ability. Also, Hero still loses stamina when taking damage from enemies. [/expand]
Conversion
[expand type="details"]Hero converts Combat Points to Stamina. When there are no more Combat Points or Stamina is full, the conversion ends. [/expand]
