  • Fixed - Bards and Monks were missing from the Expert Daggers checklist which prevented them from learning. Should be able to learn, now.

Developer Notes
Just a couple of bug fixes and some text corrections.
Fixed an issue with Tailwind at Master level and using Druin Hills gate resulting in not being able to move once you zone in. Not sure how long that issue
has been in game. But, you are able to move after zoning in.


  • Fixed - Kryakk Omlet Quest is now fixed. Should be able to complete the quest now if you have the required items.
  • Fixed - Corrected text for Master Circle of Cold. The effect itself was working correctly.
  • Fixed - Druin Hills Gate with Master Tailwind active



  • Informational - Corrected the Kunari Plains map - trainer Swena displays the appropriate skill she trains
  • Informational - Added Blackwater Marsh entry point on Murkwater Swamp map

Developer Notes
Reverted the Human XP bonus back to 20% from the current 10%. My notes did indicate the reason why I lowered it in the first place; this was done MANY MANY (for you Polic Academy fans) updates ago.
XP bonus is only applied to combat experience gains. Unfortunately, the framework I use does not apply it to Quest XP gains. I looked at various potential options to apply a bonus; but, none worked out.


  • Fixed - Mazabar's Crypt exit door is working again.



  • Informational - Set Human XP bonus to 20% to match the manual. It was set at 10% from a previous update

Developer Notes
Small stocking stuffer this Christmas Eve.
Re-worked the Monk's unarmed damage. The initial values were very low for the higher levels.
Please note, the monk's damage and attack score won't be changed until they level. If max level or you don't want to wait until leveling, feel free to
send my your saved game file (support@blindmonkeygames.com) and I will adjust their scores to what they should be for their level.

  • Informational - Increased Monk unarmed damage to be inline with some weapon damages.
  • Informational - Monk's Fists of Fury now apply the "fury" effect every hit instead of a percentage chance of being applied
  • Informational - Monk's Attack score has been adjusted. Increase is higher than originally set.

Developer Notes
A lingering Framework bug was still around. Vital chests in Vargan's Tomb were missed. These have been fixed.
Also, re-worked the Monk's unarmed damage. The initial values were very low for the higher levels.
They are still off in this update. Will continue working on getting the damages to what I had in mind.


  • Fixed - Vargan's Tomb chests with needed items for side quest are working again

Developer Notes
Sped up the battle notifications to reduce the lag. I think it is fine; but, if you find the messages too fast, let me know and I'll slow them down a bit.


  • Fixed - Well Rested no longer immobilizes the party when it wears off
  • Fixed - Orc model should not be in T-Pose while in battle. Should be playing idle animation now

Developer Notes
A few more UI updates this go round. The battle victory window should no longer block the battle menu if battle starts while the window is open. Also, it auto-closes after a few seconds
just in case. Along those same lines, the alert window (shows LEVEL UP, for example) should auto-close if combat starts.

And, had to fix a couple of trainers, again, in Druinport and Druinhills. Expert Sword trainers should work properly now for all four character slots.
Another note: next update will be another UI update. I think I found a good solution for the combat message lag. I'll be testing that this week.
And, a request was made to create a guide on the stats and how they work within the game. I'll be writing that up and posting it in the community section for those
who are interested.

Developer Notes
A few players who made it through the main quest discovered the quest could not be completed. Turns out, I had disabled a step in the dialog for some testing at one time and never re-enabled them.
This step was need to set a flag for the game to allow you to complete it. Looking back through my dev notes, I was doing this test 2 years ago.
I thought I had re-enabled everything and was good to go. I appologize to all for this really stupid mistake.
While I was fixing this, the final confrontation wasn't very intense as I intended it. So, it is a little better now. I was facing the final baddy with
a level 60 party and almost lost 2 of them.

Without spoiling anything: If you've finished N'Ratak's task (the one he gives you once you find him), feel free to send me your saved game file. I'll flip the
need flag that will allow you to finish the main quest story so you do not need to restart the game with a new party.

Developer Notes
Fixed an issue with the main quest which I broke at some point and didn't realize it. It is the finale of the story. So, if you feel you can't proceed and have completed the needed tasks, you can send me your saved game file and I'll
set the flag which wasn't being set like it should for you to proceed.

NOTE: When using a spellbook, tome, manual, etc, press the Escape key to close the inventory window to see the character select dialog. I'll see if I can find a better location for the dialog or auto-close the inventory window


  • Fixed - Main quest finale is fixed.
  • Fixed - Haste book of learning lists the correct skill needed to learn (air)
  • Fixed - Spellbook Circle of Cold can be used to learn the spell now
  • Fixed - Innkeeper at the Sour Crow Tavern, in Soduruin, gives you your purchased food now
  • Fixed - Innkeeper at the Lonely Dragon, in Meririch Valley, gives you your purchased food now
  • Fixed - Innkeeper at the Old Oak Tavern gives you your purchased food now and takes your money
  • Fixed - Description for Master Perfect Strike has been corrected



  • Informational - Adjusted some lore text to not get cutoff in the message window
  • Informational - Updated Necro's starting mind and body stats to be correct. Will not affect existing games, however.
