Greetings, fellow spear-throwers!
A new version of Lichtspeer has been summoned - the Double Speer Edition is now available on Steam!

What's new?
Thanks to the new co-op mode, you can now explore the ancient germanic future with your friend - a space-dog!
It's a drop-in drop-out mode, so feel free to complete the whole campaign as a duo or just have a go for a few minutes to kill some Wurst Zombies and leave your friend to play and die alone.
I bought the original Lichtspeer - will I get the Double Speer Edition for free?
Yes. If for some reason this didn't happen automatically, please let us know in the comments or contact us on publishing@crunchingkoalas.com.
What about the old version of Lichtspeer?
The old version of Lichtspeer has been discontinued - you can still play it if you own it, but you won't be able to buy it anymore.

Hello friends!
We're currently at PAX West showing off some sweet LICHTSPEER co-op action. If you're around, be sure to come and visit booth #6003 (6th floor) and experience the Wunderbar space dog action.
Also to celebrate we're doing a 30% discount for the duration of PAX.
Enjoy.

Making of: The Special Edition
Gutentag people.
We finally decided to post a little something about the creation of our very special, hand-made edition of LICHTSPEER. It consists of a cartridge a cassette (A REAL working CASSETTE) and a sweet VHS box to store it all in.
Some of your favourite enemies including Wurst Zombies and Hipster Giants decided to get changed for Halloween.
You can download new version and check it out.
Zero Punctuation - a story about walruses and glowing laser sticks.
How about a review of Lichtspeer by the one and only Yahtzee Croshaw?
I liked Lichtspeer before I even started playing it. The menu screen, if you’ll believe it, is what sold me.
Here’s what it looks like:
Where the exit button would normally be, Lichtspeer has a button that reads, “Go home and eat strudel.” And when you press it, a god-like voice triumphantly belts out, “STRUDEL.”
"Lichthund’s Lichtspeer is the game I didn’t know I needed. Oozing with 80’s flair, the game is one of the most simply constructed yet absolutely addictive titles I’ve played in recent memory. The high score-chasing action and retro style is exactly the palette cleanser for a season packed with AAA behemoths."
