August 2023 Update: Planetary Revitalization/Gamescom Details!
Hey again, exofarmers! We’re back at it with more to share at the kickoff of Gamescom! This update’s important, as we’ll be talking about a key aspect of life itself on the Lightyear Frontier: Sustainability! Taking care of your environment is absolutely essential on the Frontier; without a healthy ecosystem, you’re in for a literal world of hardships. Your crops will struggle, flora and fauna will disappear, and the barren landscape will have nothing to give, in terms of resources. Put in effort to restore the balance, and you’ll be rewarded with a wealth of resources, more beautiful environments, and who knows what else? Read on, and we’ll give you the details!
Welcome back to the fireside, y’all! We know there’s been a lot of anticipation around this one ever since the Showcase, but you gotta hand (HA!) it to us, it’s a pretty sweet-looking rig now. And, just as promised, it’s got plenty of customizable elements to swap out, both for cosmetics and functional components! You’ve got questions, we’ve got answers, and we’re excited to talk more about it. So let’s get started!

Whew, I've been excited to say that.
In your journeys as an exofarmer, you’ll join your friends in making a mark on the Frontier as you build your new home! Come together and harvest resources, contribute to new structures, and divide to discover the hidden secrets of the Frontier. Even better yet, you’ll be able to get your farm up and running through crossplay on PC, Xbox Series S|X, and Game Pass when Lightyear Frontier releases! We’ll have more information on exactly how multiplayer comes together soon, so stick around and keep an eye out!
We’re not quite done sharing new content, though! Throughout the next week on our Discord, we’ll be sharing new mech designs you’ll see in Lightyear Frontier that you’ll be able to decorate your mech with! (There’ll be more on that later, but for now, we’re just too excited to not share it with y’all.)

Creating the home of your interstellar dreams is something we know is important for a lot of y’all, and we want to let you know it means a lot to us, too!

Hey, folks! You might’ve been wondering what the deal is and what we’ve been up to since we’ve parked the mech in the garage from our world tour. We’ll get into the details when the new year turns, but rest assured, we’re diggin’ deep as we refine the core aspects of Lightyear Frontier, as well as breaking new ground in key areas! As we wind things down for the year, we want to take a bit of time to enjoy and reflect on what we’ve been a part of, plus give you a look into what the team’s been working on.
This year, we’ve had a lot of opportunities come our way to show y’all what we’re all about as we work on Lightyear Frontier. From how we came up with the idea, to showing your first landing on the Frontier, to making our own long journeys, we’re honored to have so many folks join us along the way!
Lightyear Frontier @ Day of the Devs: HarvestWeen Begins!
As harvest nears, we tend to the distant and alien fields of the Frontier, pulling in the crop before the snow hits the ground. We’re not alone on this planet, though; spirits, both ghastly and gleeful, arise to accompany us as we collect our bounty, and who are we to turn down good company?
Without further ado, we’re elated to announce that we will be joining the Day of the Devs for their 10th anniversary! It’s a huge honor to be included in this shindig full of amazing developers, to say the least!
On top of that, we’re kicking off HarvestWeen today! What does HarvestWeen entail? Well, read on, and we’ll fill you in on the details!
