LK v6.10: Achievements, Boss Ability Upgrades, Crashes Fixed

Steam Achievements:

Story:

  • Fixed certain missions crashing the game
  • Wraith mission "All Over Now" fixed Godel drawing under stars, Godel sprite improved
  • Saviour mission Purpose removed extra station in background


Art:

  • Tank Boss added lighting animation for its sprite during explosion
  • Shotgunner boss Plasma Barrier now moves gradually during turn instead of jumping to new position
  • Shotgunner boss Plasma Barrier fixed all slashes spawn at its first position after it moved


GUI:

  • Enemy Bosses now show their ability in the enemy info Window
  • Teyrn fixed "SPace Mines" typo
  • Enemy AI type None" renamed to "Standby"
  • Explosive Barrels now show blast radius when targeted


Boss Ability Upgrades:

  • Gunslinger boss now doubles trigger range
  • Shotgunner barrier health doubled
  • Berserker boss now has two ammo
  • Tank boss explosion duration now lasts two turns
  • Blaster boss total mines and total range increased
  • Heavy Gunner boss now launches 2 missiles per volley
  • Eliminator boss stealth trigger range increased and max energy increased
  • Heavy Melee boss now only decreases blinder timer if the player is blinded


Gameplay:

  • Shotgunner boss Plasma Barrier now destroys itself when owner is destroyed/runs out of life
  • Move Scanners updated not destroying themselves when outdated

LK v6.09: Enemy abilities upgraded, Enemy art improved, Base stage improved

Gameplay:

  • Added Enemy Equipment level 2, at difficulty level 8
  • Defect 1, enemy abilities 2, defect 2, and enemy equipment moved down one difficulty level
  • Destructible terrain fixed crashing the game when hit


Stages:

  • Base stage added robotic arm and boxes
  • Base stage made amount of openness more conformed, now draws holes in a grid based on difficulty
  • Moon doodads fixed shadows being too dark, added shadow to shafts


Art:

  • Enemy tank boss added explosion animation
  • Enemy shield now has a different sprite for when hit, fixed default shield drawing twice
  • Enemies now fade out when turning invisible
  • Burst enemy fixed using melee sprite when switching to gun


GUI:

  • Sector damage larger than 180 degrees fixed drawing smallest angle

LK v6.08 Level difficulty made more consistent

GUI:

  • Argent fixed using wrong ranges for move scanner
  • Argent fixed using minimum range instead of mid range for spear slash, causing the move scanner to not show the right ranges
  • Move Scanners made thinner
  • Move Scanner fixed line for lowest damage being wrong size


Terrain:

  • Ruins stage tunnels limited to top and left sides of map
  • Platforms and holes moved closer into playable area
  • Satellite stage pushed satellite 100 pixels further in to give more space to hide


Moon Stage:

  • Added platforms
  • Tiles fixed overlapping terrain
  • Added platforms, flat crater
  • Plateau fixed having wrong collision area


Base Stage:

  • Transport ship moved closed into playable area

LK v6.07 Move Scanner, Wraithblade art improvements

Move Scanner:

  • Added mode for cardioid sectors instead of points
  • Backgrounds fixed not being cardioids


Gameplay:

  • Laser Enemy fixed shield position and transparency being wrong
  • Wraith Bomb fixed path being inaccurate
  • Argent's Vernier Immobility defect now doesn't increase range, to fix move scanner showing wrong range


GUI:

  • Ability button background fixed being offset
  • EnAb Controller fixed line to target having wrong starting point
  • Detected Status fixed tooltip stats timer using value for visibility
  • Enemy Field of Fire text, title made clearer
  • Game Messages moved title and text up
  • Move scanner button fixed not making scanner for every move range
  • Expansion Ability buttons fixed using wrong position if multiple maniples are used

LK v6.06 Move Scanner fixed and improved, Recoverable Expansions Improved

Recoverable Expansion Abilities:

  • Ability buttons now display that it must be recovered, show its location when pressed
  • Now only show recoverable animation to correct player type
  • Now always glow to show where it is


Campaigns:

  • Mission Objectives fixed being set to stage description, fixed not displaying objectives window


Move Scanners:

  • Now update enemy lockon direction to fix damage inaccuracies
  • Now only use one window with rearranged text and sprites, moved to bottom of screen
  • Now draw damage numbers on each section of damage
  • Now draw background when the mouse is in range
  • Now sets yellow as low damage, red as high damage

LK v6.05 Expansion Ability Pickups, General Improvements

Gameplay:

  • Expansion Abilities are now have to be recovered at difficulty level 8
  • Player confirmed movement fixed not allowing GUI button presses
  • Burner Blaster fixed crashing the game when aimed at terrain


GUI:

  • Reaper, Hunter, Burner now highlight their buttons for deployable abilities based on if their next move will recover it. Fixed their highlights not showing at right times.


Art:

  • Grab item animation added more frames, doubled animation speed
  • Burner Plasma Primer fixed staying if target died without DoT, fixed not moving with target
  • Burner attack line fixed not updating if terrain was in the way


Menus:

  • Library menu added Expansion Abilities large sprites


Reviews Menu:

  • Fixed title showing "Early Access"

LK v6.04 Difficulty Increase, General Improvements for Final Release

Gameplay:

  • AI attack mode now first attains LoS before approaching
  • Enemy AI pathfinding now checks for terrain and enemies
  • Peon missiles fixed not checking for LoS
  • Peon missiles fixed firing on first turn without LoS
  • Enemy Heavy Gunner fixed firing missiles without LoS
  • unit_is_visible_LoSFoV() fixed not setting angle variable, crashing the game
  • Reaper Blades jamming on bosses now counts as 50 enemies

Templar:

  • Heat Damage defect fixed not working

GUI:

LK v6.03: Expansion Abilities available at all difficulties. AI improved

Gameplay:

  • Expansion abilities now available at difficulty level 1
  • Enemy equipment is now available without the expansion to increase difficulty
  • Enemy weapon lock-on angle is now different for several units
  • Mines and holograms fixed communicating player location to allies
  • Wraith, Burner fixed always have stat reductions
  • Saviour, Reaper, Argent added stat reductions at difficulty level 2, and set base values to original development values
  • Missiles sensors fixed always following player, reworked to follow when they or enemy has LoS


Enemy Shotgunner:

  • Fixed plasma barrier landing on player
