The Electron Flux Mortar in the tech tree.[/p][p][/p][p]The past few hotfixes over May and June have also included performance and AI adjustments that should improve some systems. The AI is more reluctant to exchange lower technology levels, and will appear more consistent in trade offers to the player as it will consider the strongest economy when proposing or considering offers. Before it was adverse to trade or research proposals if they came from other factions.[/p][p][/p][p][img src="https://clan.akamai.steamstatic.com/images/25142103/c8ab908a76ab02b310375c6cc40706e70544c02e.png"]Image 3. Games with Iron Man mode will only have an autosave.
Your continued support of LoR over the year since release has not gone unnoticed and while the initial plan was minor content updates for a year, there may be additional specials, leaders, and events in the fall and winter.[/p]

May Community Update
Greetings Lords of Rigel!
The may community update covers Releases 1,07 and 1.08, which has added some new content and quality of life updates to the game and some additional optimizations to the AI and turn processing.
To begin with for update 1,08, a requested quality of life improvement was adding planetary data to the galaxy view tooltips for stars. This provides a breakdown of planet size, climate, minerals, gravity, and default maximum population. The previous data about if an orbit can support a colony or outpost, or is occupied is also presented at the bottom of the tooltip.
Image 1. Planet data in galaxy menu star tooltip
A new technology has also been added to the game, that when researched enhances the effectiveness of bioweapons. The use of biological weapons is of course a warcrime and has serious consequences for relations and the doomsday clock.
Image 2. Dynamic Peplomers in the tech tree
Finally, update 1.07 included new content in the form of system view, tactical, and planet view (for planets without atmospheres) backgrounds that varied by star spectral type. Each star type has a unique background if not in a nebula and nebula backgrounds appear for planets without atmospheres.

What is next for Lord of Rigel over the next few months? Ironman mode is planned before August. Expect more optimizations and additional minor content updates as we continue our year of "Free LC" for the game.
