Weekly News #48 and Stream cancelation


Hello Survivors
Here we go for the 48 weekly news!!! We are close to 50!!

Fixes


Bug fixing work continues:

  • Fixed widget for game options.
  • Fixed mouse arrow, now it is not disappearing after returning from game options.
  • Fixed item dupe on player corpse looting.
  • Fixed icon for 1911.
  • Fixed hole in a tunnel near sewerage.



Stream cancelation


We apologize for the stream cancelation, unfortunately, new features takes much more time than we imagined. Thanks for understanding, we will keep you updated.


Loot


Currently, we are reworking our loot system.
Also, was added more loot spawners to the:

  • Small River camp
  • Tunnel near Rail station
  • Goldton Farm
  • WorkShop



Animations


The work on the animations continues. We added drink animation for drinkable items. Also, we almost finished the prone animations.


UI


We are still updating our UI:

  • Added invalid states for crafted items, if things cannot be equipped it won't show the equip button.
  • Added squad members infoboxes to the main HUD.

The notification message now shows above other messages.
Radial menu has been updated.

Announcement Patch 0.5.0.0


Hello Survivors.

Today we would like to announce the upcoming 0.5.0.0 patch. This patch will improve the game experience and provide you new features and gameplay mechanics.

Patch will come out on 12 of November. We will also launch a big sale to celebrate the 0.5.0.0 patch.

Here are some tips, what will this patch change. The full patch note will come upon the release.

  • Gameplay changes
  • Graphics upgrades
  • Ui overhaul
  • Server optimization


Also, all these new features, will be all or almost live on October 30, at 8:30 pm on our partner’s Twitch channel https://www.twitch.tv/cedrico
You can ask your question directly to the game developers. They will be there to answer to your questions!

Fixes



Bug fixing work continues

Fixed bugs:



  • Fixed weird targeting with a cudgel or any other melee weapon.
  • Fixed canvas collision at Supermarket.
  • Fixed collision of the crafted door frame.
  • Fixed light settings of the 1st floor of the Construction site.
  • Fixed sound effects at Supermarket and Swamp.


Animations



We are updating our animations, this week we've added pickup animation to almost all pickup items.

Options



Based on users' requests the VSync option has been added to the game.

Torch



The torch has been returned to the game, at the moment we are polishing it.

We are close to the public release!

Fixes



Bug fixing work continues

Fixed bugs:



  • Fixed player num in the server browser.
  • Fixed version in the server browser.
  • Fixed ping in the server browser.
  • Fixed the wrong height of the Landscape that was causing the character to fly.
  • Minor landscape and collision fixes


VoIP



We've added location-based VoIP to the game, so now you will be able to communicate to other players using voice.

Server



We added a time multiplier for server options.

Navigation



In order to optimize the game, we were working on navigation changes for the NPCs.

New lighting and sky



This week we were mostly working on world lighting and now it looks much better. Also, we added a new Skybox.

Hello Survivors and Welcome to the new Weekly news

Fixes



Bug fixing work continues

Fixed bugs:



  • Fixed world saves, now time and weather are saving both in single and multiplayer.
  • Fixed hole under the road near the Construction site.
  • Fixed flying tree at Rail Station.
  • Fixed flying rocks near Radar station.
  • Fixed an issue when weapons stayed on the back after unequipped or changed.
  • Fixed an issue when the weapon was changing module sizes after reload.


Character


We were mostly working on the character animations and all the related stuff. Also, we’ve fixed the Skeletal mesh of the character.



Water


Regarding the changes in swimming animations, we’ve changed the water physics and underwater graphic effects.


Squads


Added squad members icons on the map. Now You will be able to see your teammates on the map.
It will help you to cooperate with your friends.

Fixes


Bug fixing work continues

Fixed bugs are related to



  • Inventory icon rotation.
  • Weapon projectile replication.
  • Strange lights effects at the police station.
  • Fixed issue when there was no waste product after using food or water.
  • Fixed inventory bug with moving objects between each other
  • Fixed water duplication near neighborhoods.
  • Fixed issue when the player was able to use items multiply times


Animations


We are working on animations for our characters, currently the prone animations was added.


Weapon


Some changes to the weapon-related issues were made, such as:

  • SCAR AIM sight fixed.
  • AK AIM sight fixed.
  • 1911 fire rate was increased.
  • Weapon damage overhaul.
  • Ricochet was added to SCAR, 1911, VAL.
  • And other small changes.


Map


The design team continues their work on map improvements.

Loot



  • Currently, we are working on the loot interaction system, for example, the destroy function for some inventory items(like cutting clothes for rags).


Animations



  • Added 5 new character Idle animations.


Character



  • We made small character updates and added swimming with animation and low oxygen damage.


Map



  • As always we continue our work on minor map improvements.

Welcome for the new weekly news.
let's start

Fixes


Bug fixing work continues
Fixed bugs are related to

  • server-side of inventory management.
  • some localization bugs.
  • sound disappearing.
  • missing landscape material.
  • physics of some objects. Now when you drop it from inventory it behaves correctly.


Effects


We've added visual and audio effects for fatigue and overexertion during long runs.
Now with a strong decrease in stamina, the screen gets darker and the character experiences a strong heartbeat and shortness of breath.

Factions



  • There is now a new faction in the Lost Region for the players.
  • Now the character starts as neutral.
  • We are adding new emblems and some other cool stuff for this faction.


Customization


The work on the character customization is still in progress, currently we are working on beards and hairstyles.

Hello Survivors and welcome for this weekly news
Today it's a special one and we need some extra testers before making the patch public.
Here we go

Testing reports



  • We are grateful for all the hard work that is done and continues to perform, testers are helping us to get more of the features done for a shorter period of time, besides the bugs they are finding.
  • Special thanks to amme he is helping a lot, really appreciated.
  • Currently, we are testing all the features in the MP session, this will help us to avoid the unexpected bugs.
  • Not a secret that games work differently in single-player and multiplayer.


Server browser and servers



  • We are working to make the server browser more UI friendly.
  • And our developers are currently working on implementing the possibility for players to create their own server.
  • We are currently negotiating with our partners regarding server rent.


Upcoming features



  • A lot of work has been done, yet a lot of work is still ahead.
  • Right now we are working on making the game world more alive.
  • With patch 0.5.0.0 the game will become more of a survival RPG, in which most of your actions will have consequences for the players.
  • Yet, the world will not just become alive, it will also become more dangerous, that’s why you’ll need to cooperate with your friends to survive.
  • Players will also be able to set traps to catch other players or patrolling scouts (NPC) of other factions.
  • Also, players will be able to master their skills of survival and killing, to become even more dangerous to their foes.


LORE



  • Besides all the above stated, we are working on LORE of the game, new factions with custom bonuses are coming to expand the game universe.
  • Player will need to decide which faction he is supporting.
  • He can also become an enemy to them all, which we do not recommend but surely will love to see.

  • This part takes a lot of time and effort.
  • We are currently testing it.

  • We are working on collision fixes on the different map locations, previously characters could be instantly killed by collision impact.


Map



  • The design team continues their work on map improvements.
