UI




  • This week we were mostly working on UI of the dialog system. The work is almost finished and we will start testing it soon.


Missions




  • The quest system is already on the finish line and soon testers will be able to check it out.


Map




  • The work on the new locations has started.
  • Also, as always we continue our work on minor map improvements.

Fixes


Bug fixing work continues
Fixed bugs are related to

  • Character creation tool.
  • Fixed issue when player switches a character and new character was receiving the inventory from the previous character.
  • Fixed some graphic bugs in character creation tool.
  • Fixed issue when Tab was opening chat during loading screen.
  • Other chat related bugs were fixed.


UI




  • Added character delete button.
  • Updated character selection UI buttons.


Map




  • Our design team continues their work on map improvements.
  • Soon we will start work on the new location.

Fixes


Work on bug fixes continues

Fixed bugs are related to

  • Inventory action panel.
  • Melee weapon damage.
  • Chat opening in single player mode.
  • Fixed issue when it was possible to open ESC menu during loading screen.
  • Fixed issue when character was naked after death.


Craft



  • Added recipe for marauder magazine.
  • Added a new crafted small backpack.


Map



  • Design team continues their work on map improvements.

  • interactions between different inventories.
  • water pump bugs.
  • minor level fixes, missing objects, and collision.
  • craft system fixes, like player was able to craft item even when only one of two resources was available,
etc.

  • Added a new category for clothes.

Work on the new location is almost done.

  • We added the color correction for different types of color blindness, with the ability to choose blindness type and intensity.

  1. building system, like bugged preview and etc.
  2. animations with a melee weapon
  3. minor level fixes, missing objects, and collision.

  • Design team continues their work on the new location near the lake.

  • The work on skill panel is ongoing, we are adding new perk icons and working on their functionality. We will tell you more about it once it is done.


Bug fixes



  • Thanks to our testers, many bugs were found and fixed.
  • Fixed bugs are related to


  1. inventory system like moving items between slots.
  2. some ways to duplicate items.
  3. wrong display of some interface windows.
  4. some collision bugs
  5. small holes in the landscape.
  6. etc

  • Currently, we are working on character skills.
  • The players will be able to level up their characters and choose perks.
  • (This is not the final version)



Bug fixes



  • This week, testers began their work and at the moment we are fixing all the bugs practically in real-time.


Map



  • As always, work on the map improvement continues.
  • Design team have started working on the new location.


Don't forget all what we show here is only in the development and Dev build for testers! not public.
The current version you have is the older one, this one we show is the completely reworked game.
All us testers are now busy to test the News build, when all the big issues are fixed we will make it public!

We fixed a lot of errors and we are close to start the testing.
Here what we did this week

Bug fixes



  • This week we were mostly working on bug fixes and code refactoring in order to optimize the new game modules.


Inventory



  • Most of the inventory changes were already implemented for the server-client and now all of that changes properly work in multiplayer.


Map



  • As always, work on the map improvement continues.
  • New gas station location added to the world.

Weekly News #31


Hello Survivors,
I'm Back to show you some updates on the development progress.

Inventory



  • Inventory was fully re-worked, now different types of loot take a different amount of inventory cells and now you can rotate all of the stuff in your inventory, this makes inventory management more efficient.




Campfire



  • Now you will need to monitor your сampfire and other fire sources, now they require fuel.
  • Without the fuel in it, you will not be able to cook food or boil water.




UI



  • Work on the new skills panel will take a bit more time so it's still in progress.


Weapon



  • Most of the weapon was rebalanced, the damage was increased and spread is reduced.


Map



  • As always, work on the map improvement continues.
  • Also work on the first fire lookout is over, we plan to add a few more towers like this over the map.

Hello Survivors,
Here some updates on the development progress.

NPC



  • We continue our work to improve the appearance of the NPCs so that they match the game character.


UI



  • Main UI window was changed, added more details and background is a bit darker now.
  • Compass panel has been added to the top middle of the screen.
  • Also, new skill panel was added which we will show next week.





Map



  • Work on the map improvement continues. Design team working on the fire lookout towers.
