Hello Survivors and welcome back .
Some news from what the devs are working on it.

NPC



  • This week, we mainly worked on improving the appearance of the NPCs’ so that they match the game character as it has been completely redesigned.


Animation



  • Most of animations have been reworked and at the moment we are still working on their improvement.

Map



  • Also, work on the map improvement continues.

Hello Survivors and welcome back for a new weekly news!
Sorry for the delay!

Inventory



  • We got rid of the duplication of clothes in the players’ inventory when you re-enter the game.
  • We also performed work on the inventory code so in the future it will be easier to identify and fix these issues.


Landscape Splines



  • All road splines were moved to their levels and now they don't cause the loading of wrong levels while players are close to them.


Small fixes



  • Collision that was blocking the boxes and did not allow the player to loot was fixed.
  • The landscape had too sharp corners in some places around the map was also fixed.
  • Fixed loading at the start, now players won't fall under the map after first loading in the world.


Map



  • The design team continues their work on the map improvements.

Welcome back Survivors
Here you have your new weekly news !

Inventory


At the moment we are facing some bugs with the inventory system which causes loot duplicating, and we are currently fixing it.

Roads


We are working on the roads landscape splines, by moving them to proper levels after which they will not cause loading levels that are far away from the player.

Levels


Work on the caves level is finally finished. After polishing, we will move on to making new levels.

Welcome for a new weekly news !
Don't wait more , here we go

Fixes



  • Some binding bugs were fixed.
  • Lot of issues that were the reason of crashes were found and fixed.
  • Missed materials on the meshes were fixed.


Map



  • The design team continues their work on the map to diversify the landscape.
  • Also, work on caves location almost done.
  • In the nearest future, we are planning to begin the work on filling the snowy territory.


Optimization



  • Work on the HLODs is almost done.
  • As the number of locations and small territories on the map increases, we try to reduce the load on hardware by optimizing the location of some objects and merging small groups of meshes.


Light



  • Most of the light on the map was reworked in order to optimize the fps in such areas as airport, prison, and some of the small locations.

Hello Survivors,
Here we are for a new Weekly News with more and more Optimization !! Enjoy

Optimization



  • This week we were mostly working on code optimization and file routes.
  • It will not help to speed up the game but it will make the work process on the game more comfortable, which will also speed up the development.

HLOD



  • We are currently implementing and testing HLODs’ for our game.
  • This should pretty much affect the stability of FPS.

World



  • We are moving more objects to sublevels and the work is almost done.
  • Currently, all NPCs’ camp are moved to their sublevels.
  • Also, we are adding small and medium lakes to the world to make it more diverse.

Hello Survivors,
Here some updates on the development progress.

Map



  • The map functionality has been updated.
  • Also, we’ve fixed the problem with displaying the player’s marker. Now the mark of the player’s location on the map is displayed correctly.


World



  • As always, we continue our work on optimizing the game and updating locations.
  • Also, the problem with the streaming of the maps was fixed. Now they are displayed at the correct distance and don't cause friezes.


Server



  • We are working on a dedicated server for a testers team.


Loot



  • We finished work on an outlining for loot. Now for the player, it will be more obvious and easier to understand what player can loot and what he can not loot.
