Ship modules, Module production skills, and new books have been added to the World on the Edge of the Inside Out.
Currently, 5 types of modules are known:
Power module;
Carrying capacity module;
Strength module;
Altitude module;
Manoeuvrability module.
All modules have two characteristics. The first characteristic is assigned based on the type of module, and the second is calculated randomly.
The first characteristic improves one of the stats of the ship, and the second one reduces any other stat.
To increase the first characteristic or decrease the second, you can learn new module production skills.
Modules are produced in the Engineering bureaus of Castles.

Demons' Henchmen
Demons' Henchmen arrived into the world to prey on Pieces of the Inside Out.
It's your choice
Every nomad in Sorharon carries a Piece of the Inside Out. You can help nomads get to the capital by destroying search squads of henchmen.
Silver Rewards
Captains receive silver livres for damaging the ships of the Henchmen and the Outcasts (except for the War event).
The holds of the henchmen's ships are full of rare books, magic, potions, materials, and much more.

Industrial extraction of resources
The list of resources extracted by the special ship "Prospector" has been expanded. Now "Prospector" can extract granite, pumice, quartz, volcanic silt and tuff.
Steam amplifier
Steam amplifier enables the industrial extraction of minerals. It is sold in the Gnome Shop.
Free settlement to each new player!
Each new player can establish a settlement for free.
Friends Reunion
The event "Friends Reunion" is active again! Captains, who reenter the world on the Edge of the Inside Out after a long break, will receive 9 unique medallions.

Wisdom Potions
Wisdom Potions appeared in the World on the Edge of the Inside Out. These potions enable players to learn skills faster.
You can receive Wisdom Potions for completing Tasks or for participating in Events.

Engineering bureau
An Engineering bureau building has been added to Castles, enabling the production of improved engines and cannons.
Tools and Alchemy
The Gnome Shop’s market now sells Huge turbines and Durable drills. Huge turbines are required to produce improved engines, and Durable drills are needed to produce improved cannons.
Special skill levels
Special levels have been added to the “Heavy Weapons” skill. The book “Fire Star” opens access to learning special levels of this skill.
Concentrates
Concentrates are required to produce engines and cannons. Concentrates can be made in alchemic shops of Сastles and Drilling platforms.
Market
Now it is possible to create trading lots to buy/sell all types of engines and cannons.
Free settlement to each new player!
One of the characters of a new account, during the period of the "Beginner protection", can establish one settlement for free.
The “Establish a settlement” button is available to a character in any ship that this character controls manually.
A settlement can be established in any available location that is indicated by a grey square on the minimap.
During the "Beginner protection", only the owner of the settlement can land in it.
With the expiration of the “Beginner protection”, the opportunity to establish a free settlement ends too.
Landing
The "Landing" has been added to the "Permissions" window, which allows you to authorize access for landing for selected groups.

Arrival into the world
Now, each new character will be shown on the world map with a special marker. The marker will be active until the character lands in the docking port of the capital. Sorharon is an artefact of the Guardians that moves nomads between worlds. It enables you to use:
Glide - to increase airspeed.
Chain lightning - to damage dragons, enemy ships or strekolets.
Arcane repairs - to restore strength.
Leap - to transfer to a random direction.
During your trip, enjoy the views and get comfortable with the controls and skills. After landing, the city will provide you with a ship and equipment.

Added the opportunity to trade "Piece of the Inside Out" and "Long leap".

Friends Reunion
The event "Friends Reunion" has ended. During the event, the captains who re-entered the game after a 3-month break received unique medallions. In the future, we will conduct more such events. Stay tuned for updates.

We are glad to present you the Portrait editor!
Each character you create in the World on the Edge of the Inside Out has a standard portrait of a resident of the Empire or Union.
To go to the editor, click "Open character portrait". Select one of many portraits available in the editor. It will be the basis for the appearance of your character. Then you can select and change any of the proposed options:
Hair
Eyes
Nose
Lower part of the face
Add scars, tattoo
Glasses
Oxygen mask
A portrait created using the editor can only be applied to a character who has reached level 10.
The first change of the standard portrait to the portrait selected in the editor is free.
For changing the Unique portrait to the portrait selected in the editor, you will have to pay a few gold coins. In this case, the unique portrait will be removed from the game forever.
The number of portraits and proposed options for editor may be increased in future updates.
What is the difference between Unique portraits and portraits created using the Editor?
Unique portraits are painted by our artists in a single copy. These portraits don't exist anywhere else in the world.
The editor enables you to create the appearance of a character from a specific set of portraits and proposed options available to everyone.

Added new special levels to the "Engineer", "Mechanic" and "Missile weapons" skills.
To open access to learning these special levels you need to read the "Turbine Rumble" and "Chopping Strike" books.
You can find new books (like any other books) in the holds of ships or in a warehouse of a Bastion.
Special skills enable the production of the TM-2 torpedo engines, MK-2 heavy torpedoes, and 2M torpedoes.
TM-2 torpedo engines enable the MK-2 and 2M torpedoes to operate at an altitude of up to 7 miles.

Ships
Added new modifications of ship engines of the SM series.
You can find these modifications only in the hold of a ship, wrecked in the Inside Out. Game event "Shipwreck".
Modified engines now have higher power and can operate at heights where standard engines stall.
Enhancers
Installing enhancers has become even easier - just drag an enhancer from a hold/warehouse to an enhancer slot.
