A brand new patch is now available for Lumote: The Mastermote Chronicles - players should connect their consoles or computers to the internet in order to download this update for the smoothest playing experience!
Patch notes are as follows :
- Fixed a blocker that would rarely occur in World 1 - Fix to blocker in World 2 that was halting progression - General Audio Fixes - General Additional Bug Fixes
This patch is currently live for all platforms, though if no download is present please allow time for the service to provide the update, in some cases it takes a little extra time to get the squish right!

Lumote: The Mastermote Chronicles was released during the start of the event, and had a big presence on the show floor to let attendees get a taste of the Great Depths for themselves on their quest to take on the Mastermote!
One lucky event attendee even got to take home a Lumote of their very own in one of our competitions at the booth - be sure to take care of our squishy friend for us!

April 21st just became the squishiest day EVER! Lumote: The Mastermote Chronicles is OUT NOW on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Steam, GOG, Epic Games Store, and Utomik!
A vibrant and poetic new launch trailer details Lumote’s epic adventure as it takes on a quest like never before to overthrow the mighty Mastermote. Introducing more of the world’s inhabitants found deep within The Great Depths, the lullaby-like trailer features all-new gameplay as Lumote solves the intricate puzzles found throughout its monumental journey.
Thank you to everyone that has been with us on this long squishy journey, we hope that the new additions to Lumote in the Mastermote Chronicles will bring you as much joy as we had creating them - and don't forget, if you already own the original Lumote game on Steam, all of the new update content is free for you and will automatically update RIGHT NOW, featuring a whole new game world in which players take control of the Mastermote to tackle 15 new head scratching puzzles, new gold collectable artefacts to find and general bug fixes and graphical improvements.
For those of you that are venturing to the great depths for the first time - here's a quick run down of what to expect!
Lumote: The Mastermote Chronicles Features
Seafoam Moocher : Squish, bop, and bounce through the world around you. Lumote is extremely curious, highly inquisitive, and adorable!
That's one big world! : The world of Lumote is a single massive environment with numerous puzzles separated into towers. Each tower marks your mastery of a specific Mote and unlocks a new set of puzzles to explore.
Solve intricate puzzles : Set in a 3D puzzle adventure, clever and logical level design ease players in whilst increasing the complexity with each Mote you meet.
Gorgeous sounds : A stunning score accompanies you, deep and trance-like that will take you on a majestical electronica soundscape journey.
Luminated game engine : Using the original rEngine, Lumote’s puzzles are all interconnected, and you can seamlessly go from one puzzle to the next as you progress.
Additionally, to celebrate the launch we are running a competition where you can win a Nintendo Switch OLED and a copy of the game to play on it!
The limited physical edition of the game, available on Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4, contains a double-sided folded poster, reversible inlay, a unique set of stickers featuring the bioluminescent hero, plus a digital download for the Lumote EP, and, if that wasn’t enough, instructions to crochet your very own Lumote! The physical release is available on PlayStation 4 for €19.99 / $19.99 / £15.99 and Nintendo Switch for €29.99 / $29.99 / £24.99, and can be ordered now via the Wired Productions Store.

Today we're announcing that Lumote: The Mastermote Chronicles has a slightly adjusted release date - and will now be hopping onto your screens on April 21st 2022 (Yes this is during Pax East!)

Lumote: The Mastermote Chronicles will now launch on 21 April for Nintendo Switch, PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, with Lumote also heading to Google Stadia in the not too distant future. The additional development time allows for final polishing ensuring the game is super squishy and extra bioluminescent at launch.
