Small update out today, version 1.67.
The main change is that the Launcher no longer shows and
instead the game starts up straight away.
There is now an 'Options' button on the Start screen
where you can configure Audio, Graphics & Controls.
This was done for two reasons.
1: The latest version of Unity introduced an annoying bug that
would always reset the the selected resolution to the
default 1280x720. This occurred when the launcher started.
There is a build option to hide the launcher which prevents
it from changing the last resolution selection.
2: Now that it is possible to fully configure the Graphics and
Controls in game the launcher is no longer required.
On PC the Alternate Controls Column is only populated with X360
controlls if one is detected. It will also assign the correct
device ID if it is not the first device. Reset To Defaults also
does this.
Version 1.66 now available!
- (PC ONLY) Full Direct Input Support!!!
- Minor Bugs & Optimizations
Notes:
Lunar Flight for PC now has Full Direct Input Support.
Almost any controller combination can be setup with ease.
This includes HOTAS setups with multiple devices.
You can even re-detect devices that are plugged in while the
game is running.
It includes a completely redesigned UI in the Controls-Options
Please note the Launcher 'Input' tab is completely ignored.

[ANNOUNCEMENT]: Lunar Flight is Officially Going To Mars!
I’m happy to announce that due to many requests/suggestions and the awesomeness of the Curiosity Mars Landing, the next Lunar Flight update will feature a Mars Map and will be suggested as (Expert Difficulty). I’ve been doing a bit of thinking about it and it seems like a great concept to pursue.
Clearly this is a fictional scenario and the LM was never designed for Mars but it should make for a fun new set of challenges. Featuring a brand new Ambient Music Track from Jason Poots, Mars will also be a visual contrast to the Moon. A variety of terrain features, eroded from water flows, dusty clouds and dense fog. We are also looking into to adding dust build up on the LM which will be spotless clean when you get a New LM.
For the experienced Module Pilot, Mars offers a new set of physics dynamics to add to the mix. With it’s higher gravity constant and low atmospheric density creating drag, fuel consumption will be higher. This will be a level that you will want to have your LM upgraded for but the Mission rewards will be worth it.
This will be a free content update to say thankyou to all the people who have supported the project thus far. You have been waiting for something new to play and the update will include additional Achievements to get and a new highest Rank, Level 8 (Title TBD)
There will be further announcements in the coming weeks about additional new features coming to Lunar Flight.
