A Leaderboard Update!
Hi!
Thanks to everyone buying Lupinball during the Steam winter sale! It's our most successful Steam sale to date, and it will only get better from here.
On our Facebook page, I teased a change coming to Lupinball that will keep the player base engaged, and motivate new players to work their way up.
What's changing with the leaderboard?
Starting 2018, the Lupinball leaderboard will represent wins for that month. At the end of each month, the player with the #1 leaderboard spot will receive glory and fame on all of Lupinball's social media channels, and a new leaderboard for next month will be created.
This update will give all players a chance to be the Lupinball champion, no matter how recent they purchased the game, and will encourage all players to continue playing and work their way up.
What about the current leaderboard?
It will soon be retired, the entries preserved as-is for future Lupinball fans to forever admire! You will be able to view this leaderboard through Steam Community: https://steamcommunity.com//stats/429360/leaderboards/1541715

Lupinball Patch 11/7/2017
This update adds a new feature: whenever a new lobby is created, the official Lupinball Discord server is notified.
Even if you don't use Discord, this will notify our Lupinball community that an empty lobby is now available. There is no more need for a separate step of logging in to Discord and asking around for opponents.

Awoo! This is a bugfix release.
Optimized the netcode a little. This is in response to people saying they had trouble with 4-player matches
Fixed a bug with fireballs in the corners of Fuzzball table and Frostford

Lupinball Patch 3
More fixes, thanks to you all!
REALLY fixed the random-stage issue this time. No more lock-ups when choosing Random
Rewrote the shot-collision behavior. It's much smarter and so shots are less likely to get stuck in odd places
Will now send more data during matches, which will make it far less likely to encounter Disconnects when the connection goes bad
Will be smarter with sending data before each round, which fixes a few mid-game join bugs
Will be smarter about syncing the player order, which fixes some issues with player drop-outs

The wind in Gailes now follows the SFX volume setting
The game is better behaved when it tries another match after a disconnect
The game is smarter about sending packets during menus in online play
Selecting the "Random" stage sometimes locked up the game, this no longer happens
