  • Added survival gameplay mode including leaderboards for each map
  • Added syringe gun decal that leaves marks where people are hit

  • Updated gun flashes, sounds and damage in paintball mode to match how they work with paintball off. They still only leave paint splatters
  • Disabled the window titlebar 'X' button during gameplay. Use the menus to 'Quit' mid-game

  • Improved AI bot movement so that they no longer sink into or float above ramps
  • Returned the dying fade color to black
  • Disabled time and point limits during High Score game mode

Completed the first round of user requested content additions for v.1.77

  • 16 new Steam achievements added: Tied to beating content unlock games
  • New High Score game mode (point for each NPC takedown): For each map you can beat your own or global high scores
  • Opt-in high score leaderboards added: Each battleground has its own leaderboard

Also happening is the release of v1.69. There are numerous changes and improvements including seeing teams' points when you die and on the pause menu and many other improvements described in the change log

Additions

  • Show all teams' points when you die
  • Show all teams' points on the pause menu
  • Created a Demo version of the application
  • Added one-time message to suggest using DS4Windows tool until PlayStation controllers are better supported

Changes

  • UI text size dependent on the width of your screen or your split-screen viewport, so overall better sizing and no more text overlapping
  • Updated what things are called in the menus in several places
  • Removed the upper left watermark for release
  • Removed the menus screen upper right link to Playtest forums
  • Added main menu link to the general forum area for the game

Fixes

  • Can no longer see "inside" heads if you manage to align yourself with another player (scary much?)
  • If you kill yourself in Hold The Grenade, you no longer get to keep the grenade through your respawn
  • AI much less inclined to stand inside each other and you
  • Fixed issue where AI cannot really see human players when they're running
  • Even lower chance of "sticky key syndrome" where when you let up off a movement key, the movement continues
  • AI less inclined to loiter
  • Fixed issue where sometimes head and body selections would get hosed when changing or creating profiles
  • Improved viewport layout so less or hopefully no edge bleeding
  • Resolved bug where you get perfect aim during aiming
  • Resolved bug where some hills were unobtainable

Content Update 1.63

Getting great feedback from testers, thanks everyone! I'm furiously implementing your input. Many additional improvements and fixes are in the pipeline, so keep an eye out for those. I'll publish an overall roadmap on the store page soon so everyone knows what development over the next couple months will look like.

Recent updates include:
  • Mouse and gamepad up/down look inversion profile setting added (for those of you that grew up on flight sims and early consoles! N64 ftw)
  • Game mode (and mode description) shown on pause menu. You're not the only one that started a game and found yourself asking - Wait...which game are we playing?

  • Increased impact force from explosions and projectiles - Players and objects fly higher!
  • Increased AI difficulty and improved AI logic
  • Bug fixes for game freezes/stalls

Playtest Ending May 13

Thank you playtesters for all your forum & DM help during this flurry of improvements and bug fixes!

The LuPR playtest will be ending on May 13 as we are a go for the Early Access game release.

The list of Early Access changes and improvements is long so expect many changes over the next months as a result of your help!

Content Update 1.48

NEW MAP RELEASE - Europa Surface MOB!

This game is all about customizing game play to your liking, so as requested I've added weapon tags to help identify the weapons you love for use in your customized loadouts. Now, whenever you pick up or switch the equipped weapon, the name is shown on your screen.

In the pursuit of not making the game too easy, I increased the gun respawn after a repeat sniping incident from a group play through.

More maps are in the works for the next update.
