Demo Update!

Hi players,

Between backflips and headshots, thanks to your feedback during the Steam Next Fest the team was able to spot some bugs and start working on improving the in-game experience.

We have decided to keep the demo available on Steam, updated with the following adjustments:


  • i-frame rolls by default, can be slightly upgraded through the transmutation.
  • Rebalanced the Chthonian: less health and shorter "wrap around breakout threshold".
  • More healing from health potion rooms reward from 10 > 25 HP.
  • More aether from rooms rewards 25 > 50, and from "The Grind" Alteration 2 > 10 (Demo unique alteration).
  • Reduced "Shield zombie" spawn chance, and they no longer spawns in early rooms.


We hope this can be a good reason for you to jump back into Madshot and explore the abyss and all its crowded paths again.

Madshot DEMO @ Steam Next Fest!



Cthulhu has swallowed your city whole, so there's only one thing you can do now: kill your enemy from the inside.

The Overflow team and publisher HOOK teamed up to bring Madshot to (eternal) life and we’re happy to announce that the first DEMO is now available and will be playable throughout the Steam Next Festival, until February 28!

The demo includes one juicy area with multiple random paths for players to get a taste of what the game will offer when it releases later in 2022.
