Upcoming Changes to the Starter Box
With the Shadows over Innistrad release, players will see some changes to their Magic Duels starter box collection of cards. These changes will help the overall online experience and balance out some of the strategies that you may be familiar with seeing.

Fixes for Daily Quest Updates
Today we implemented some fixes to the way Magic Duels delivers quests to players, in particular to those who did not receive a new daily quest every day.

As a part of this fix, some players may see older quests appear in their queue. You may refresh these quests to get a new one, or complete them to clear them away. Enjoy!

Increased Coin Awards for Daily Quests and Online Versus Battles!
Exciting changes are coming to the way you earn coins in Magic Duels!

Starting today, Ranked versus matches will now award 30 coins to the match winner. We hope you enjoy going online and facing off against Magic Duels players around the world!

And finally, we're awarding more coins for Daily Quests! Daily Quests will now award 50, 75, or 100 coins based on their difficulty. You may need to complete or refresh your current quests in order to see these new coin rewards. Quests are a great way to branch out in your deck building strategies and try out new archetypes, and the increase in coins for quests will make it worth your while to experiment with new cards and combinations.

Earn More Coins for Multiplayer This Weekend!
Welcome to Versus Battle Weekend! This Friday through Sunday, all online VS mode ranked matches in Magic Duels will earn you twice as many coins, and your "First Win Bonus" will be doubled. Take your favorite decks online and enter the gauntlet!

Magic Duels in 2016
The recent release of the Battle for Zendikar update marked the first step in the restatement of our commitment to making Magic Duels the great experience that you deserve.

In order to continue improving Magic Duels we have made the decision to revise our content release plan for 2016. This means that instead of the Oath of the Gatewatch update being available in January, players can expect it to be released in Magic Duels in April alongside content from the next Magic set, Shadows over Innistrad. With the Shadows over Innistrad update we will be back on track to delivering regular content updates aligned with Magic's paper set releases.

We'll share more information about the release of the combined Oath of the Gatewatch and Shadows over Innistrad update in the spring.
