Just 5 days left before the release of Make Your Kingdom on January 20!
You heard it here first, folks! Make Your Kingdom will be released in just 5 days! You will be able to dive into the exciting process of creating your own kingdom starting January 20th.
Do you remember this roadmap (https://store.steampowered.com/news/app/1257560?emclan=103582791466659002&emgid=3827447881812034416) that we posted a while back? We completed almost everything out of this list! There will be a lot more buildings than in the demo and some will even have multiple looks so you could make your settlement even more diverse. There will also be a few completely new mechanics - like talking to your fellow settlers and motivating them. One of the new mechanics that will make the game a bit harder is sickness. (Some settlers will inevitably get sick, but just one hospital and a healer's house will be able to turn it all around.) We hope that you also enjoy the new interface which you could’ve seen during the last playtest. Plus there will also be helpful tip windows that should make learning how to play the game easier for new players.

The wait is almost over – Make Your Kingdom will be out on Steam in just 6 days! You will be able to dive into the exciting process of creating your own kingdom starting January 20th. 🥳
It’s been 4 years of hard work – and almost everything you’ll see in the game was developed by one person! The developer (yo_serjio) has done a great job of improving the game since the demo was released in the summer of 2020 - new mechanics and building models have been added to the game, and the user interface has been changed completely.
And while we wait for the release countdown to finally be over, share with us – how did you find out about the game? We would love to hear your stories! ❤
Goodbye, 2021! Hello, 2022! Happy New Year!
So another year has come to an end, which was just as difficult as the previous one, but during which we managed to implement many ideas related to the project. A new interface has been developed, many new buildings and functions have been added. We tried to breathe even more life into the game, and at the end of the year we also set up a playtest, in which tens of thousands of players took part. At the beginning of next year, the release of the game is finally going to happen, but in the meantime, we wish you happy holidays and a good rest. Happy New Year! ❤️

The Make Your Kingdom pre-release playtest is still active and will end on December 20th.
At the moment, thousands of players have already joined the playtest and tried out the latest (and closest to release) version of the game. Thank you all, thanks to your feedback, Make Your Kingdom is getting better every day.

Orcs in Make Your Kingdom: Warriors, Arsonists, and Thieves
Hello Founders!
Today we are going to tell you about the varieties of orcs in Make Your Kingdom. You remember that orcs in Make Your Kingdom are dead settlers who have been resurrected and are out for blood. Even the clothes on the orcs are the same as on the former humans.
Some of them are particularly dangerous, while others are terribly annoying. But all must be wary and fight them with all their might to save the still-living inhabitants of your kingdom. Orcs of War (Warriors) The name speaks for itself - these orcs live for battles. Each one is armed with huge axes and loves to fight. These guys are the most dangerous of all, so watch out, train your army and equip it! Especially with bows and armor. Arsonists Orcs with torches whose main goal is to burn your kingdom to the ground. Destroy them or you lose all the buildings. As soon as the arsonist completes his task and uses the torch, he will turn into a thief.
Thieves The most annoying kind of orcs! Thieves steal your resources and damage buildings, and then flee into the woods. There are a lot of them, they run fast and are terribly annoying.

Dev Insights: Explosions Testing
Hello, Founders!
In Make Your Kingdom, buildings not only get built, but also explode (we talked about this in a previous development diary). To prevent a settlement from exploding and collapsing, you have to be careful to make sure that each house is repaired in time. Otherwise... boom!
Hopefully you will rarely see exploding buildings in the game. But admire them here! 1 click = 1 explosion. Almost like Michael Bay.

We are excited to announce that we will be holding a question and answer session at the end of August! We'll let you know the exact date and time a little later.
