For the last 3 years, we've been working tirelessly on Make Your Kingdom to make it the best low-poly kingdom ruler simulator in its genre - with interesting management and elaborate settlement building. All to fulfill our dream and give you a game you'll really like.
Previously we planned to release the game at the end of July 2021, which is very soon. But after extensive testing of Make Your Kingdom, we realized that the game needs to be improved. So we have to push back the release date, but not for long - Make Your Kingdom will be out within the next two months!
We want to be honest with you, so we will tell you what kind of improvements the game needs. Over the next few weeks, we will be adding to the game mechanics of changing the appearance of the houses - now most buildings will have 2-3 different looks.
In addition to dozens of new visuals, we need to test the technical part of this mechanic to avoid bugs and incorrect visuals. In addition, we will continue to catch bugs, so that the release of Make Your Kingdom will give you only pleasant emotions!
Thank you for staying with us! Without your support and attention, we wouldn't have made it this far. There's not much left and we're looking forward to MYK's release just as much as you are.

Devlog #6: the world of the game and useful tips
Hello, founders!
Today we're going to talk about Make Your Kingdom literally: the size of the map, its properties, and where best to place your settlement so that it can become a kingdom after all!
Big World
Size matters in Make Your Kingdom! The full version of the game will have the option to start the game on one of three maps. The maps are generated differently every new game:
A small map - suitable for beginner founders who are just getting acquainted with the game and settlement management. The size of this map is 350 squares x 350 squares (1 house occupies 2 squares). The middle map is 475 x 475 squares. Since it is larger than the previous map, it has a larger spread of resources. The large map is 600 x 600 squares. A map for advanced founders! Resources are scattered randomly over a huge space. But the bigger the map, the bigger the kingdom!
Diverse World
The world in Make Your Kingdom is really diverse - sometimes the same locations can be drastically different from their previous versions.
The game will have different seasons with different properties (we talked about them in one of the previous development diaries). For example, in winter the settlers freeze. Many landscape variations: mountains, fields, ponds, lakes, forests, brushwood. Remember that you can only build on flat surfaces! And try to build your settlement near mountains and forests to be close to resources.
One Chance at the Start
At the beginning of each game you will only get one chance to choose the starting location of your settlement. You can only build one main building, which means there will only be one settlement on the large map!
But you will be able to build other buildings in different parts of the map. The only problem will be that if you choose a bad location at the start, the resource sources will be far away and the settlers will have to run far away. This means that resources will be slow to replenish!
*** That’s all!

Housing problem in Make Your Kingdom
Hello Founders! Today we're going to talk about renovating houses in Make Your Kingdom. Does that sound boring? See what you have to say after the first earthquake or the invasion of orcs rising from the dead.
Housing Question
Make Your Kingdom is the nicest construction and settlement management simulation, but even here things can happen that are not nice at all. For example, earthquakes can destroy parts of a settlement, as can orcs during raids. And even the passage of time gradually destroys buildings!
See how scary and at the same time beautiful the doomed settlement looks.
If you lose all of your vital buildings, your settlers will die and the game will be over. You can't let that happen!
Repair time
And how to keep the settlement in a more or less acceptable form for life? Or put it in order after a disaster? Let's look into it.
The services of an architect. Yes, there is an architect in your kingdom. From time to time he has to inspect buildings and fix them up. Would you like to do everything yourself? You can do that too! Switch to single settler control mode and fix the buildings yourself.
Damaged buildings can catch fire. In this case, you will have to put them out first and only then repair them. If you don't make repairs in time, the building will explode! Destroyed buildings cannot be rebuilt, only rebuilt.
Everything is interconnected! Even if just one building is destroyed, the chain of production may be disrupted. For example, if there is no Farm, the Sheep Farm, where you can get meat and wool, cannot function. Without these resources you won't be able to feed your settlers and make weapons and armor for them.
Buildings are repaired with planks. So don't forget to resupply to keep your settlement looking good.
That's all for now, Founders!

Protecting the settlement and fighting the Necro-orcs in Make Your Kingdom
Hello, Founders! In this Make Your Kingdom devlog, we're going to talk about how to protect your settlement and fight off Necro Orc raids. Get your low-poly weapons ready and pay attention, because this devlog will save your settlers!
The end is only the beginning
Sometimes the sweet world of Make Your Kingdom can be harsh. For example, if you don't build enough huts, your settlers may freeze outside in the winter. Lack of food is also an important problem. Disease and starvation are unfortunately followed by death.
However, death in Make Your Kingdom is just the beginning. After death, the settlers become... no, not zombies, but orcs! It's an unexpected twist, isn't it? Turning into mad monsters, they attack everyone around them, even their former neighbors.
Protection against necro-orcs
A shield, bow and sword are the best tools for defending against orcs in Make Your Kingdom. Produce iron, create weapons, and arm your guards with them if you want to save your settlement!
Your settlers will fight on their own. But if you have a warrior's spirit, you can switch to a third-person view and personally lead your soldiers into battle!
However, fighting is a last resort. To defend the settlement, you can build walls and towers with archers and guardsmen. They will either delay the onslaught of undead orcs, or even help repel it.
That's all, Founders! What do you think of the resurrected orcs?
In the next development diary we will tell you how to rebuild your settlement after destruction and natural disasters.

Useful Resources and Survival Ways in Make Your Kingdom
Hello Founders! Today we're going to talk about the resources with which you can build a successful settlement and how to acquire them! Sit back on your throne as this tutorial will help you become a successful Founder!
Fresh low-poly food
In Make Your Kingdom, in order to feed all of your settlers, you need to get food. There are several kinds of food.
Meat is obtained from sheep farms. The meat itself is inedible, so you have to make nice low-poly sausages from it at the Butcher's House. The meat makes the settlers work faster, as do the buildings where the meat-eaters are located.
Wheat is also an important resource for sustenance. In a mill wheat becomes edible bread.
Wild berries and fruits - they can be collected from bushes and trees. Green berries can be used to make medicine in the Healer's House. Fruits are used to make cider, which will come in handy in the tavern to keep your settlers in good spirits!
Resources for luxury low-poly apartments
In addition to edible resources, Make Your Kingdom also has resources that can be used to build houses, defenses, and even flying machines!
At the sheep farm you can get wool - it can be used to make cloth, and you need it for the blimps that bring in new residents for your settlement and for your archers to defend themselves against orc raids!
Wood is extracted by lumbermen and foresters in the forest. The logs in the forester's house are used to make boards, which are needed for construction and charcoal.
Coal, as we have already mentioned, appears from the boards in the Coal Burner. Coal is a very valuable resource, because it will help warm your settlement when the cold weather arrives! Houses without heating will be uninhabitable. In addition, charcoal is included in the recipe for iron, weapons and sausages.
Stones are mined from mines. They are needed to build houses, walls, and towers.
Iron is made from stones and will help you make shields and swords for your warriors
That's all, Founders! In the next development diary we will tell you how to defend yourself against orc raids and rebuild your settlement after destruction and natural disasters.

Make Your Kingdom: New Interface
Hello Founders!
We continue to develop Make Your Kingdom. And today we decided to share with you how we improved the game's interface. Check it out!
Let's get into more detail. Before, the interface was really plain looking. A translucent background, no unique icons, and an awkward layout. So far we have optimized the layout of interface blocks. We also added custom buttons, icons and a custom color scheme.
How do you like the new interface?

Help me choose effects for the battle scenes
Hi everyone! I’m working on adding effects to the battle system and I have a question. 😬 Do you like 1st variant better where the characters lit up when being hit, or the 2nd one where they don’t? And what do you think of how the battle scenes look in general right now?
