This update is the first of a series of updates I will be making for the game that will polish up the game's core pillars.
This updates changes are listed below:
1. The camera now has more stability to it when moving. 2. The transitions between idle, walking, and sprint have been improved 3. The movement now uses a ramp-up speed system to make moving the character feel smoother and less janky. 4. The Idle animations now have multiple variations and improvements to each animation 5. The scale of pedestrians and the main character have been increased to give a more realistic human proportion feel to them. 6. The pedestrians will now react to you running and walking past them along with if you shove into them. 7. A bug fix on the stores has been made that fixes the camera clipping through the walls(if you still encounter this please let me know via the bug reporting option with a short description of where you encountered it). 8. The screaming on the pedestrians has been improved to be less intense and the sound effect now plays wherever the pedestrian is located. 9. Small details to the movement have been added to improve the feel of movement such as screen shake, smooth FOV transitions to illustrate speed, and a more weighty feel to the camera when transitioning between movement states. 10. The stimpacks now use a smooth fill-up animation on the health bar. 11. The Pedestrians will now make sounds that react to your movement around them. 12. The grapnel now feels much faster with added screenshake, improved FOV, and other small adjustments.

Hot Patch for Unlocks
This hotfix includes the following
- Reduces the price of the Pump n Dump for easier unlocking to make it less grindy. - Adds a DLC tag to the Weapons and Powers that are DLC for more clarity in the unlock system. - Removes the need to purchase weapons and powers with currency after buying the DLC for immediate use. - Slightly rebalances the Eradicator and Pump n, Dump to encourage the use of different weapons.
A new patch that polishes certain mechanics and features will hopefully be coming next week. if you have any feedback please hit the "bug reporting" button in the pause menu

Tutorial Hotfix
Hey Players,
It was reported that one of the weapons was greyed out in the weapon purchase menu while doing the tutorial leading to player confusion. I have gone ahead and fixed this bug. I have also eased the difficulty of the training simulation in the tutorial to be 1 Police whereas before it was 2 police.
A bug reporting button has been added to both the pause and main menu as well, if you run across any issues feel free to use the feedback board, it can also be used for normal feedback. it does not require signup.
Mall Of Mayhem Goes Free To Play
Hey Players,
By popular request mall of mayhem is now free to play! with this update there are also new features and changes made to the game.
Character: 1. Improved character model for the player. 2. A skin selector is now in the game.
UX: 1. New HoloShop Menu has been added to quickly equip guns, powers, and ammo anywhere in the game. 2. New Menu for skin selector. 3. Improved collapsable Controls. 4. Loading Screens have been added to the game.
Bosses: 1. Bosses have been rebalanced to be more difficult after player feedback.
Weapons: 1. Shotguns now have increased bullet spread. 2. Pump and Dump shotgun has been rebalanced. 3. SpreadShot shotgun has been rebalanced.
Along with various other bug fixes and balance changes have been made as well.
Polish Update #1
Hey Players,
This update is geared for quality updates in several areas including voice acting and combat.
1. The voice acting for the entire game has been improved with better quality and clarity. 2. The weapon wheel now has stats for each gun you want to equip similar to the gun purchase shop. 3. The Jetboot dash has been improved on the animations to be smoother and less teleporting and stiff. 4. The crosshairs on each gun are now fully dynamic and respond properly to player movement by animating them enlarging, shrinking, and greying out when moving. 5. The shooting now feels more responsive with hit markers on each gun to let you know when you have properly hit something. 6. The time echo particles have been lowered in brightness intensity to be less intense when looking at them. 7. Ragdolls have had some improvements to make them more consistent and realistic. 8. The pedestrian screaming now has a lower base volume to adjust properly to speakers and headphones.

The next big update for mall of mayhem just dropped, I will list all of the additions and changes below!
Patch Notes for BloodShed Update:
Player: 1. New jet boot dash ability that replaces the dodge mechanic. 2. The two slot weapon system has been replaced with a weapon wheel. 3. You can now use the jet boot dash ability to propel yourself through enemies, killing them instantly. 4. The abilities are now tied to an ability wheel instead of multiple keybindings with no clear direction of how to use them as they were before this update. 5. Remapping of abilities and weapons to single keys that work with the weapon and abilities for more intuitive controls. 6. New exosuit ability, the wrist mounted plasma sword. You can now use a retractable plasma sword mounted on your wrist to kill enemies in the game and pedestrians in mayhem mall, you can also combine this with the new dash ability. 7. Movement now feels more fluent when using them together such as doing a super hero landing and then entering combat movement.
Story and Quests: 1. The story and quests now all have in-world objective markers for a more intuitive experience.
Level: 1. Tutorial has been remade to make the game feel faster to get into and more intuitive, it now is tied directly into the open world itself. 2. Destructible environments have been added to the game. 3. The time nexus now has training modules you can complete for a extended but optional tutorial on gameplay mechanics. 4. Quest boards have been added around mayhem mall that allow you to pickup quests.
UI/UX: 1. Weapon Wheel has been added. 2. In-game controls widget for quick access to figuring out what the controls for the game are. 3. In-world objective markers are now placed inside the objectives of the open world for a more intuitive feel for missions. 4. Ability Wheel has been added for each ability to be a single input rather than multiude of inputs..
VFX: 1. New particles have been added for the jetboot dash ability. 2. New animation has been added for the jet boot dash ability. 3. New animation has been added for the plasma sword melee combat. 4. A new retractable plasma sword model has been added to the game for the respective ability. 5. Pedestrian ragdolls have been improved to have more impulse to their ragdoll effect. 6. A new slow mo kill effect has been added on certain abilities such as the laser sword when dealing devastating attacks.
SFX: 1. New Money Pickup Sound effect. 2. New sound effects for dash jet boot ability. 3. New energy weapon sound effects have been added for the plasma sword.

Its been a few weeks since the last community update, I have been hard at work on getting a major update to the game out for you and it has now arrived titled "The Interaction Update".
This update improves the open world activities with features listed below:
AI: 1. AI will now react to weapons being pointed at them. 2. New AI Type "Psychopath", they will wander around mayhem mall, and attack other pedestrians and get scared and run from the player when they arrive. 3. Animations have been improved on pedestrians. 4. Store clerks are now inside of each store and you can rob them for extra money. 5. Police AI have been adjusted in behavior. 6. Police AI now have a new hit reaction animation that feels more responsive than prior.
Bosses: 1. Bosses have been re-balanced to be easier and more forgiving for new players.
Player Systems: 1. Movement has been reworked to have more weight on the movement. 2. New exo-suit ability "Wrist Mounted Grenade Launcher" this ability will be unlock-able in the time nexus, and launches a devastating explosive grenade from the players wrist gadget. 3. New exo-suit ability, the Shock-wave Punch. equipped with a concussive detonator on your wrist, punch AI through the Air flying into the walls and deal large amounts of damage to bosses. 4. Third Person ADS has been added to the game. 5. You can now interact with the stores by picking up items on the shelves such as a tennis racket or bat, and killing people in the mall with it. 6. Dodging has been reworked to be more responsive. 7. Switching between different cameras in game is now animated to flow smoothly. 8. Thruster Jump ability now feels faster. 9. The grapnel hook now has more speed to it, resulting in a more fluid feel when using it. 10. The camera on the flamethrower now works in a better angle to see where you are using it.
Weapons: 1. The weapons now have different varieties of damage types to them respective to each weapon class(rifle, automatic, shotgun). 2. The Bullets now have improved particle effects to them that add to the small details in the game. 3. the shooting on each weapon has been tweaked to help make it feel more responsive to player input. 4. Police and boss Damage input has been reworked to be more forgiving and consistent in responsiveness.
VFX: 1. The Superhero landing now adds impact cracks to the ground when falling from great heights. 2. The explosion particles have been remade to be bigger and more explosive. 3. The grenades now have a improved model. 4. New Particle effects for the new shock-wave punch power have been added 5. Mason now has new physical devices on his wrists for the new powers.
UI/UX: 1. Menus have been reworded in text to be more intuitive for the player. 2. New unlock items have been added to the armory in the time nexus. 3. Bug fixes for the main menu.
SFX: 1. Certain sound effects such as the hit reaction for the police have been improved with spatial audio. 2. New sound effects for certain abilities such as the grenade launcher and shockwave punch.
