Just some minor changes today: retries for friend score leaderboards (hopefully fixing an issue where some wouldn't appear?) and a very tiny silly new cheevo. Hope everyone's having a good one. :)
Release 1.28
A few fresh bugfixes I missed in the last update.
Fix a 2.5 year old bug where infinite loops would cause the game to hang for a bit while processing every single test. (There was code which handled this for timeouts, but the infinite loop detection broke it.) Oops!
Make a bunch of sound effects properly affected by the SFX volume slider.
Don't hide the area display behind decor on the bottom right of 'Priest'.
Best wishes, P.F.
Release 1.27
Hi, all! It's been a bit. Here are a few bugfixes and QoL improvements, by popular demand.
Increase tick limits across the board. The secret 999 tick limit was originally added as a sanity check, but people hit it far more often than I expected. Raise it to 9999 ticks and remove the corresponding achievement, since it's probably more annoying than fun to get now.
New hotkeys: esc to close the save/load UI, enter to continue 'Onward!' once you've won a level.
Add a little gold medal icon in the background of scores that you've earned medals for, to make it slightly clearer what's going on. (Hopefully!)
Fix: hitting the screenshot UI button on Windows would sometimes cause a black screen.
Fix: editing the board during the intro animation for endgame levels caused a broken state.
Fix: picking up scanners and setting them down in the same spot would cause the scanner limit to display incorrectly until any other action was taken. (This is an extra small bug. :)
Default Mac M1 Pros to have reflections off, since there seems to be an issue with the preview 'ghost piece' in later areas when these GPUs have reflections turned on.
Please let me know if you run into any issues, or if there's any other hot requests you'd like to make. My time is finite but I'm always happy to listen. :)
Cheers, Nicholas "PF" Feinberg
Manufactoria 2022 Full Release!
Manufactoria 2022 has graduated from Early Access with 100% positive reviews! It's now out and on a 10% launch discount. Tell your friends! Tell your family! Tell strangers on the street!
I'm very proud of what I've made here, and I hope everyone else will enjoy it too.

Release 1.26
A few last-minute fixes leading up to full release. Added new graphics options to disable some fanciness. Added a cheap check for integrated GPUs and default to disabling fancy graphics for those.
Release 1.23
Minor bugfix release.
Fixed a typo in 'Foodship'.
Fixed an issue with eyedropping while parts are selected.
Changed timing on stamped symbols appearing on the tape.
Happy June to all! Many fine robot tidings :)
Release 1.22 (and "Making a Mint" issues)
There's a known issue in which entering the level "Making a Mint" sometimes causes the game to freeze. While I'm investigating it, I've marked that level optional for progression.
Also, fix some malformed ellipses on invisible medal tooltips.
Release 1.21
Just in time for the Cerebral Puzzle Showcase, here's a medium-sized update!
Major: <*> New save/load UI added! In addition to the ability to load your best solutions for each category, you can also explicitly save and load specific setups for a level. Useful while experimenting with different approaches before you've figured out how to beat the thing! <*> New screenshot tool added! Accessible while running a level (or after having won it), it's a nice way to take a picture of your solution with stats attached. Very classy!
Minor: <*> Change eyedroppers yet again. Right-mouse now picks up, and shift-rightmouse eyedrops. <*> The selection tool is now available one area earlier. <*> Flautistry is now a required level for completing the tutorial. <*> Some rewording of level descriptions ('produce' replaced with 'accept' where appropriate). <*> Simplify Lathertron description. <*> Make the zoom UI less obtrusive. <*> Add tooltips for invisible medals.
Have fun, all! :)
Release 1.20
Replace Crate Expectations with a new (simple) level, and add an eyedrop hint in the top-right of the UI.
Enable extra decorative sound effects. Fun :)
New zoom/scroll SFX.
New reset profile & 'invalid' SFX.
New 3D backgrounds for the last remaining two late-game areas.
Make histograms bouncy and add a dashed line for your previous stats.
Add a pointer to time controls after losing.
Fix colour flipping in held groups not adding to the undo history.
Fix flipping after rotating a held group.
Fix 'B.F.' description.
Release 1.19
Happy new year!
A new look is in for the backgrounds of the final area of the game. Lots of cool new funky background robots - check em out!
Many pieces of text should now look better at very wide resolutions, eg 3440x1440.
Bugfix: pasting while mousing outside the playable area will no longer anchor immediately.
Key display on Russian key layouts (and other non-ASCII setups) should hopefully look more reasonable. (Still testing this.)
