Play the Mars Horizon demo
Check out the demo - available to download from the Mars Horizon Steam store page. In the demo you can choose from 3 space agencies (there are 5 agencies in the full game), play through Era 1 of space exploration, build your base, design rockets, and try to put the first human in space! Please Note: The Mars Horizon demo is a shortened version of the Mars Horizon beta. It does not include any beta feedback changes implemented into it - we are still working hard on these!
Please Wishlist Mars Horizon! We're a small developer and wishlisting makes a huge difference to how many people see our game. It'll also make sure you keep up to date with the latest developments and release date when we announce it!
We'll be doing 2 special live streams during the festival. These will be broadcast straight to the Mars Horizon Steam store page and we will be taking questions over the Auroch Discord to answer on stream. Make sure you join us for both streams for even more Mars Horizon goodness!

We will be doing 2 livestreams during the festival. Both streams will have special guests and the devs on stream available for live chat. One of the livestreams will also include a special feature reveal - we will be revealing the final 2 playable space agencies! Which ones do you think they will be?

Quick info
The beta will be running until 4th May 2020 at 9am GMT. Redeem your key before then and get as much play time in as possible. The beta will not be playable after then.
The Mars Horizon beta is only available on Windows through Steam. It's just a sample of the full game as Mars Horizon is still in active development. With your feedback we hope to make it even better.
The beta allows you to experience the journey as far as the Moon. The full game takes you to Mars and beyond.

If you're struggling to redeem your beta key or with installing the game on your PC, check out our FAQ. It should answer the most common questions and issues.
If the FAQ doesn't solve your problem, you'll find an email address in there that you can use to ask us any specific questions. You can also drop into our Discord to ask us and the community questions about Mars Horizon. The full game will have a tutorial created based on feedback from the beta. For now we’ve written a quick start guide which should introduce you to the game well enough.
I found a bug!
If you came across a bug while playing the Mars Horizon beta please report it in this bug thread on the Mars Horizon Steam page. We will be monitoring this thread throughout the beta. This should be enough information for us for many of the bugs but if we need more information we will reach out to you and request further information if you are happy to share this with us.

If you enjoyed the beta we'd really appreciate it if you wishlist Mars Horizon on Steam. It helps us out a lot and means you'll get notifications about the game in the future, such as when it's released and goes on sale.
We'll also be emailing you a feedback survey on 4th May. Please take a few minutes to fill it out! The survey is where you can give us your impressions of the beta and tell us what you liked and didn't like as much. You can also tell us about any bugs you came across in the survey, too.

Alpha Weekend
Do you want to get your hands on an early access alpha build of Mars Horizon? Well, today is your lucky day!
We are looking for people to take part in an alpha weekend of our game and get your thoughts on how it is coming along and what else we can do to improve it?
The Alpha will start on Friday 19th July and finish on Monday 22nd 2019. This also so happens to be the weekend of the 50th anniversary of the moon landings!

Step 1: Sign up and add your email address to our system Step 2: Wait for your confirmation email
Step 3: Then, when the codes arrive we'll send you a Steam code
Step 4: Log into Steam and redeem your code (there is a guide on how to do that here)
Step 5: Download and install Mars Horizon
Step 6: Launch rockets and send someone to space!
Step 7: Fill in the feedback form
Step 8: Get a free copy of the soundtrack when the game launches
On Monday 22nd July at 10:00 (UK Time) the keys will expire. The feedback form will close on Friday 26th July at 12:00 PM (UK Time).
