We're going to be doing a big update of the Steam page very soon, and with this will come new screenshots, a new video and lots more information.
Also (and very excitingly for us) we're off to meet with the staff at the European Space Agency next week! (To talk ExoMars and other things!) You can follow our social media channels to see what we are getting up too here:
We'll get straight too it: we are delighted to announce that we are working with the European Space Agency on Mars Horizon!
We made the announcement earlier today over on on our website and we are really excited to be working with such an important partner on making this game as authentic as we possibly can.
Design Director, Tomas Rawlings, said "Working with ESA is a massive bonus for the Mars Horizon universe. Having access to real launch control specialists who can explain the real life pressures and challenges they face will help make this game as authentic as we can. With the upcoming ExoMars mission in 2020 this is a fantastic time for us to be working with the agency as they put the final stages of preparation on this launch.
The involvement of the ESA is a double win for the gameplay as we’re not only getting to talk to people planning actual missions to Mars but also the people who plan the strategy of the agency itself - all of which we’re planning to use to help the gameplay. To say I’m excited by this partnership is an understatement, I’m (excuse the pun) over the Moon!"

We also thought we'd double treat you with a few more screenshots from the game...
What is happening with Mars Horizon?
Hey there everyone!
We know we've been pretty quiet of late around Mars Horizon, but we wanted to give you a quick update of where we are, what is happening and why the radio silence.
Release Date: We won’t lie to you. We don’t have one, yet.
I know this isn't the news many were hoping for, and we are sorry for that and the lack of updates, but we are sure these changes, and extra support from key space agencies, will be a big improvement on the game and well worth the wait!
But with that…
Screenshots:
What better way to make it up to you than with some new screenshots? And boy howdy are these some beauties. These are an example of mission gameplay:
1. Static Failure Gif
2. Camera Failure
3. An awesome shot of Mars
What is next?:
Well we wanted to give you an idea of what we're up to here, what the next stages are and what to expect from us.
The main thing is, get the game done. Everyday it is getting closer and closer to being ready for wider sharing.
If you enjoy, we'd really appreciate you taking the time to rate them, and if you follow us, you'll be notified when the next episode is live (and even gain early access)!
