MATO ANOMALIES - Post-release Patch Notes
September 2023
Fellow Rift travelers and detectives, here is what today's Patch brings:
1. Fixed an issue where the achievements “All-knowing” and “Mind Hunter” could not be obtained. After applying this patch, please load a game profile that meets the conditions, and these achievements should be awarded. 2. Fixed a rare issue where the Mind/Hack session may be broken if Smoker’s card “Rage” is used against the demon “Puzzle” during the side quest “The Beautiful Thing” in Chapter 7. 3. Fixed an issue where Mist’s voice (the first line) may not play properly upon encountering an elite enemy in combat. 4. Improved the legibility of combat UI by increasing font sizes, adding font shadows, and tuning panel transparency and sizes. 5. [Steam Deck] Improved the legibility of Mind/Hack game UI by increasing font sizes. 6. [Steam Deck] Game graphics settings on Steam Deck are now saved independently and no longer synchronized with Steam PC.

Hello everyone, we are Arrowiz, and we want to express our gratitude for the support you've shown towards Mato Anomalies.
Mato Anomalies is our first role-playing game and our first attempt at global distribution. This has set high demands for our development and presented us with unprecedented challenges. Fortunately, the adventurous story of Mato has reached players all around the world. We have to use translation software to understand feedback in various languages, and each cultural response has provided us with fresh perspectives to reevaluate the game. This complex and wonderful feeling has also given us more angles to reflect on our shortcomings.
Now, five months after the game's release, we are about to launch a DLC called Digital Shadows, the story of which is not told in the main game. Unlike the serious tone of the main story, this will be a more relaxing and enjoyable independent tale. In this DLC, the ever-helpful SkyEye will take center stage, and players will experience a whole new virtual city called "Dragon Palace" through her eyes. Here, people are addicted to a virtual game, and SkyEye will encounter new events and opponents. With the help of her friends, she will overcome new challenges.
Once again, we want to thank you all for playing our game, and we hope Digital Shadows would be able to provide you with a thrilling adventure.

Patch of June, 2023
1. Now the in-game view (camera) rotates with panning of mouse by default. The previous camera rotation mode (hold right mouse button and pan) can still be set in the Options - Gameplay menu. 2. Added the Infinite Domain (a roguelike dungeon mode). Talk to "No. 453" in South 2nd Road to access this mode – when you're in Chapter 4 and beyond of the game. 3. Added a NPC to the greenhouse area of the city scene "Mercury Street". 4. For owners of the game Art Book, a standalone copy (PDF file) will be downloaded automatically to the game folder (..\Steam\steamapps\common\Mato Anomalies) 5. Fixed a bug in Chapter 6 where entering and leaving the Lair can interrupt quests. 6. Added game logic to support future DLC, etc. 7. Other minor fixes and improvements.
