Mayhem in Single Valley: Stranger Things meets Zelda with radioactive squirrels
Mayhem In Single Valley, a crazy action-adventure full of unexpected twists, nonexistent 4th wall and radioactive squirrels, joins the Steam Game Festival!
You are a troubled teenager Jack who's just started the apocalypse in his hometown. Or was it you though? Regardless, everybody hates you now. Congratulations.
If this wasn't bad enough, "started the apocalypse" means "turned the majority of animal species including humans into hostile mutants". Congratulations once again, survive if you can.
To do that, you will have to run, jump, hide, think and use everything at your disposal, be it a trash can lid, an acorn or, of all things, an umbrella.
Mix monster feeding with your housework and a zombie assault with your family dinner!
Welcome to Single Valley!

The workers of the City Hall continue to work hard in an effort to better our town. This time they've fixed a lot of the reported problems and made some nice improvements.
Below is the full list of the work done.
Gameplay
The game now pauses when you open inventory;
Hitting enemy with any thrown object knocks them back and plays impact animation (character stun animations coming soon!);
NPC can now attack and grab things that are higher up than ground level;
Ostriches will eat insects and stones (no, for real! They do that in real life!).
Dialogue
Dialogue now instantly appears in text boxes.
Art
Reflections added to floors, water and mirrors;
Cloud shadows and reflections have been added to some levels (experimental);
New pixel art water splashes;
Emissive sprite layer improvements.
Sound
Torch re-light sound added;
New sounds added and audio levels on water splashes and Jacks run tweaked;
Most sound now pauses when the game is paused.
Bug fixes and other minor improvements.
Quest timing improvements. For example 'Talk to mom' quest is triggered directly after exercise tutorial;
Gates of the Zoo will now close even if you jump over a hedge;
Improved safety standards for ladders — now you won't die while climbing them;
Small art fixes such as lowering the positions of floating sticks in the cave.
We thank all the people visiting our cosy town — and especially those, who were kind enough to help us improve Single Valley!
Until next time!
