Medieval Machines Builder

Let's welcome mighty Onager

Hail and well met, medieval fans🏰

In today's post, we want to introduce to you another siege machine that you will have the opportunity to build and test in battle.

We are talking about the Onager, also known as the Mangonel.

Don't be fooled by its small size. Its historical projectile accuracy was amazing, with a 30 kg stone flying up to 1100 meters, while a 50 kg one could reach 450 meters💥.

This type of machine was incredibly popular and significant in Roman armies, especially during the time of Julius Caesar, where the number allocated to each army unit continued to increase.

Continuously improved and modernized, it survived into the medieval era, where it was used, among others, by the Crusaders.

In the game, the Onager will launch a volley of projectiles, and your task will be, of course, to destroy the enemy fortifications💣

And this is just one of the machines you will build step by step and operate to attack various outposts!

Playtests have launched🚀

Hello gamers,

We've just sent Steam Keys of Medieval Machines Builder
to those who signed up for the playtests.

Playtests will last 3 days

If you have an idea for the game, want to share your thoughts about the game or maybe you've found a bug. We are always here to hear and help you out. On Steam, or preferably discord

Have fun,
Medieval Machines Builder team.

Medieval Machines in Action

Greetings, medieval fans,

Today we want to bring you some new information about what exactly can you expect from Medieval Machines Builder!

Constructing the Battering Ram!

Battering rams were used in almost every siege of castles and fortresses due to their simple construction. The long beam, which served as the central point of the construction, was often reinforced at the front to prevent its rapid destruction. If the beam was exceptionally heavy, it was suspended on scaffolding to make it manageable for use. The entire structure was enclosed and reinforced to protect the soldiers inside. Altogether, it created the appearance of a shed on wheels.
In our game, you will be able to construct this machine step by step and then put it into action!

Observe the beauty of medieval engineering in action!

We are working on perfecting all the animations of available machines. This is what the new, improved animation for the trebuchet looks like! We also changed the textures used for it.
When playing the game, building a machine won’t be your only mission. Many times you will have to operate your constructions and use it to tip the scales of victory in your favor!

A riddle for medieval fans

What movie is this scene (one of the most famous scenes using Trebeus) from?

Brand New Level available for Playtesting!

Your task here will be simple: train and sharpen your skills in operating a catapult. You will need to destroy as much of the village as possible. Take your time here and see for yourself the destructive potential of engineering.

The next level...

Greetings, medieval fans,

As the end of July approaches, it is once again time for us to share some insight into the progress of the Medieval Machines Builder project!

As you can see, our 3D artists have been hard at work on the next level, and this one will be slightly different from anything else we have created thus far.

Here, you will have a chance to take a break from the turmoil of war and spend some time repairing damaged war machinery.

May the luck be with you, wanderer!
