Little Sneak-Peak
Greetings medieval fans! ːsteamhappyː
Premiere of the demo version of our Medieval Machines Builder game is getting closer and closer. Due to this fact, we wanted to share with you some sneak-peeks of what you can expect from the level that we were working on...
Here you can see an enemy outpost, and your job will be to destroy the watchtower 💥, so that allied forces could proceed deeper into the enemy's territory... 🥸
To deal with this task, you will need to construct your first ever siege engine! But don’t worry, more complicated parts your allies brought with them on carts, you will only need to use some wood from nearby copse. 🪵🌳
What comes next? This is what you can expect... Are you excited? ːsteamhappyː
Let us know what would you like to see next! See you soon!
Become one of the first astronauts to settle down on the Red Planet. Make no mistake, though. It’s not an easy task! Conditions on Mars are unforgiving and you will need to think on your feet in order to survive!
We know that there was no info about Medieval Machines Builder for a while, but don't worry the game is alive and in development. Change of development team and getting a new publisher was necessary though.
Most important thing... the game is coming out in 2023 and will have a free demo soon.
Meet Solverto team
We have been working on Painter Simulator lately, but we had prepared already something to show you from Medieval Machines Builder.
Building a catapult One of the machines you will be able to build in the game is a catapult. To build it, you will need to gather the necessary resources, such as wood, iron, and process them, so you can construct the machine.
Destroying buildings The purpose of siege machines is to destroy! You must first load the catapult with ammunition, aim the catapult at the tower and adjust the power and trajectory to hit it accurately. As you progress through the game, you may encounter more complex and fortified towers and buildings, requiring more precise and strategic use of the catapult and potentially other siege weapons. Successfully destroying a tower helps your armies progress in the siege, and to ultimately claim the control of the castle.
The game is constantly evolving, and we keep adding new features and polishing existing ones. We also refreshed the Steam card of the game a bit.
We are very determined to bring you a great game and heads full of ideas. If you want to ask as something, share your ideas, just hop in to our discord.
Have a great time, FreeMind and Solverto teams.
P.S. More content is coming soon.
Devlog #4
Hello there, guys.
We've got an update on our projects.
Crafting
Every siege begins with the construction of a war machine. To assist you in completing these duties, we've created a crafting system.
To create better and stronger machines, you'll have access to mining, chopping, and gathering. Every crafting talent will have its own skill tree, which we can level up by completing tasks and using tools. Right now, we've implemented mining and smithing, which are already operational, and more are on the way. The structure we'll be using to craft will be upgradeable, allowing us to gain new features for our machines and more powerful weaponry.
Soon we will have more information to share.
Screenshots from our newest mine can be found below.
Devlog #3
You can see a model of the first stronghold here. Because in addition to constructing, you will, of course, be able to destroy things!
Now we are working on the destruction effects and the camp from which you will be able to shoot. The plan includes several strongholds and castles that will be available as you progress through the game.
Devlog #2
Aim!
In recent weeks we have been working on the functioning of the catapult and trebuchet. It works :)
We added the option of the camera following the ball. The target from the boxes will be changed to the first castle soon. Is it worth trying out our machines on something other than a stronghold? Any ideas?
