Hello, Over a year ago my project files for Medieval Shopkeeper Simulator got corrupted and until now it was impossible for me to recreate/fix them. This is my first game and i really wanted it to be great. In this situation, i could either remove this game or make it completely free and decide to make it free for everyone, but all the people who already own it will receive a copy of my other game Little Dungeon Stories, soon it should appear in their Steam library.

I will continue working on my current projects and try to deliver you more cool games in near future.

NEW BIG UPDATE 17! Improved Basic Gameplay Base, Rain System and More!



Hello everyone! It's been a while since I updated the game, it's time to do it and in a big way! Lots of improvements in basic gameplay and other features like a Rain System.

Let's see what this build contains:



    NEW CONTENT

  • Jump is deleted.
  • You can now set a number of items to craft + New progress bar.



  • House orders/contracts system totally reworked.



  • Tutorial is deleted.
  • New rain system + Interactions with stalls, crops and people + Clouds!



  • If you talk to walking peasants, they will say some tips.
  • New sorting system for Warehouse.



  • Categories in the Inventory panel reworked.
  • You don't have to manually "buy" your first stall since it's already yours. (Simpler for new players).
  • Some changes to color and screen effects.
  • Personal information now will show correctly (name, description...)
  • Added some sound effects to placing Work-kits, customers and UI.
  • Now music will play once and not in a loop. More songs in future updates.

    BUG FIXES


  • Fixed character/pet customization (now will load correctly, finally!)



  • Save and load error fixed.
  • Fixed some bugs of NPC' stalls.
  • People & Animals rotation optimized.

New Little Dev Log Update

Hey everyone! I have more news of the coming MSS' update, let's take a look.

Basically I'm working on the interface of the "Merchant Book". The WHOLE Book's UI will be replaced by a panel as the Intentory or any other.

It will change from this:

  • So the whole interface looks much clearer. Also undiscovered objects will be shaded and those discovered with color. The page tabs are missing, they will be placed on the left of the panel instead on top. It is not finished, some details are missing but that is how it will be.

  • Also orders to the merchant, will be made in a couple of minutes and not in days. I think the lost game bug was triggered by this feature, so removing this, surely this bug will be finally fixed.

  • The tutorial will be deleted as well, although I already said this in another announcement.

  • I'm also going to make opening your first store less chaotic at the beginning by making your first stall already acquired. You will no longer have to go to the stalls board to buy the stores, simply go to one and buy it.

As First Himno (F2P) Hits 250,000 Downloads We Are Very Happy To Announce Himno - The Silent Melody

DEV LOG UPDATE

Hey, I have not been very active around here due to my recent release of Himno. The plans I have for MSS are the following:

I am focused on improving the base experience of the game right now, rather than on getting new content, since there is a lot of things to do but bugs may hinder the experience.

Also I've decided that I'm going to delete the tutorial. Instead, I'm going to do a series of short video tutorials showing the basics of the game for new players. There are certain people who have told me that it is much more enjoyable to discover how the game works by yourself rather than having a crappy tutorial.

NEW BIG UPDATE 16 + HIMNO IS OUT! New Travel System, New City, New NPC and More!



Hey everyone! We are on Friday which means new build update! During this month I focused on the new travel system, a new city, along with very important performance fixes.

Let's see what this build contains:

    NEW CONTENT
  • New Travel System, now you will be able to travel to other parts of the kingdom!
  • New NPC, the Architect. He will sell you new build blueprints every day. In the future, you can improve the city with his help.

  • An entire NEW City called Inodon. Many things will occur here! For now, there is only the Architect, stalls and people walking around.
  • Added 5 new warriors sprites for walking customers.
  • Added sun rotation. Sun will rotate around you, and this does not mean that there is a day/night cycle.


    I was trying things with shadows, and I ended up liking it, it gives a very curious time effect.

    BUG FIXES
  • Fixed the bug that will lose your game progression, fixing this, fps increased 15-20.
  • Max capacity in stall displays won't destroy your items.
  • Fixed pet visuals, now should show your pet and not a generic chicken.

NEW UPCOMING UPDATE



Hello everybody, as you can see, during a whole month there has been no new update, but that does not mean that I have not been working on the game.

I have been working in a new city and the traveling system. Something that will also have this new update will be the Blacksmith and the Architect along with new items!

This update will be released within 2 weeks or so.

HIMNO's SHOP ANNOUNCEMENT + NEW UPDATE 15



Hey everyone! We aren't on Friday but I want to make an update to start working on the travel system which will let you travel to other places! But during these days I focused on suggestions, performance and more bug fixes.

Let's see what this build contains:

    NEW CONTENT
  • "Unlock build blueprint" command.
  • Now you can change the selected hotbar slot with numbers (requested feature).
  • House Build System toggle changed to "B".
  • Some mroe improvements in saving and loading along with loading a new game.
  • UI panels no longer slide when you move them (requested feature).
  • NEW Objects tab in Build System (1 window & 3 pillars).

    BUG FIXES
  • Player Skill levels fixed. Now you can start gaining xp and level up different skills!
  • Exit house with build tool bug fixed.
  • Fixed a bug of the unlock blueprint command.
