Medieval Towns

v 0.1.4 is deployed

New:

  • Siege system v1 (walls, gate, battering ram)
    Basalt wall - just a wall
    Basalt wall with a stair - just a wall, but with a stair (to climb up on gate platform)
    Basalt gate with wooden doors - just a gate
    Battle ram - battering ram to destroy buildings.
  • Guard tower:
    needs 1 golden coin per 20 minutes,
    attacks any aggressive player/building (ram at the moment) inside town area,
    but town owner will not be attacked(!),
    will attack for 30 minutes,
    attacks with 3 javelin 75 damage each (sometimes misses),
    has range 100m (town area has 200m range),
    the owner of the tower must be the owner of the town.

Changes:

  • Build panel was reworked - new build panel (a book) with additional info.
  • 'Attack' animation was a little polished.
  • Collisions of Log Cabin were a little polished.
  • Environment lighting was a little changed.

Known issues:
Attacking own guard tower in law area will transfer player to prison. Marked as a minor bug, will be fixed in next update or hotfix.

Hotfix 1 v.0.1.3


  • Reduced cost for Ingots to 10 ore per 1 ingot.
  • Reduced cost for Iron/Meteorite workbenches: 2000HP -> 200 Ingots -> 2000 Ore
  • Furnace has option for Golden ingot.
  • Furnace does not offer Wooden Mace & Repair Hammer
  • Bed can be placed in Townhall & Log Cabin (there is need to be accurate in Log Cabin, it will be polished later)

New:

  • Tools v1:
    Iron/Meteorite pickaxe: gathering 30
    Steel pickaxe: gathering 50
  • Primary auto-action (hold primary action button for that)
  • FOV (field of view) option
  • Bed (respawn point)
    Player can have only one active bed, use button 'use/open' (default: E) for set respawn.
    Setting respawn point will delete previous set.
    Bed must have >30% HP to work.
  • Buildings v1:
    Furnace (requires stone to build): to make iron/meteorite/golden/steel ingots.
    Iron workbench (requires iron ingots to build): to make iron/meteorite pickaxe
    Meteorite workbench (requires meteorite ingots to build): to make iron/meteorite pickaxe
    Coinage press (requires wood to build): to make golden coins
    Pumpkin garden-bed (requires wood to build): to farm pumpkin
    Pig farm was moved to Buildings v2
  • Resource 'Basalt': to build strongest walls, gates, etc (these buildings will be added in next updates)

Changes:

  • 'Drop' was a little polished on spawn.
  • Ferns were added to forests and a little to fields.
  • 'Stone' now is a generic resource (like a wood) and was spreaded over the world.
  • Amount of bushes was little decreased.
  • Volume of winds was little decreased.
  • Characters can nod head up and down.

Fixes:

  • Failed craft/divide in inventory with 9 busy slots and item in primary slot.
  • All world's borders report players about 'World's end'.
  • Moving between storage and inventory now fully works (stack/change storage<->inventory directly).
  • Server saves 'world' on exit.

New:

  • Chat v1 (global chat) (default: enter)
  • Posibility to customize controls and mouse sensivity
  • Added feature 'AutoRun' (default: Caps Lock)
  • Added 'Motion Blur' option
  • Added 'Material Quality Level' option
  • Added ambient sounds to world and forests
  • Added new tree - Conifer with 80 units of wood (Broadleaf has 65)

Changed:

  • Allow to destroy owned buildings in LAW area
  • Fixed a bug when wooden javelin did not correctly damage in player's town
  • A little polished player's position after login
  • Tree amount in forests was increased

Hotfix 2 v0.1.1

Changes:

  • fixed missed icons for some tools
  • respawn time for deer is 30 minutes now
  • net culling distance of some objects is increased
  • resources are no more waste when crafting with full inventory
  • fixed ending of 'help system'
  • fixed bug with trade post (not changing goods and gold amount)
  • added gray color for townhall model in build mode, gray means another townhall in tax area
  • log cabin was a little polished (+10% size)
  • added description to items in craft list.

This is a hotfix, not even a minor update.
