A new update is available!

Another patch for Metro Simulator 2 is here!

Changelog:
- Indication of distance between you and next traffic light has been added under the next speed limit indicator.
- Speed limit indicator now flashes when you pass a traffic light so that it's easier to notice when the speed limit changes.
- Fixed a bug that could skip the step in Nomernoy tutorial if you jump near the cabin.
- Fixed passengers' behavior on Novye Cheryomushki.
- Fixed walk animation for one of the passenger types.
- If any language except for Russian is selected, station names are now easier to read in the main menu.
- Adjusted logics of scoring points in Train transfer scenario so that required score is not negative.
- Adjusted logics of some lamps in Nomernoy cabin.
- When train approaches speed limit, it automatically disables acceleration circuits, but it takes some time. This time was shortened to better match the real experience.

The first patch with numerous fixes is available!

A patch has been released on Steam, fixing the following issues:
- Fixed Nomernoy sound when accelerating at a slow rate
- Switching between Fullscreen and Windowed mode now works instantly in the pause menu settings
- Added sound for displacement brake on Nomernoy
- Red lights now flash above the doors on Oka train when announcing the next station and closing them
- Fixed emergency brake force on Nomernoy
- Fixed passengers' sitting points on Nomernoy so that passengers won't have their legs going through the seats
- Fixed independent brake crane sounds
- Fixed a problem that could prevent you from disabling Bloom in settings
- Now, if you lose, scenario restarts instead of throwing you out back to main menu
- Fixed Contact rail lamp on Oka train
- Fixed the achievement for transferring 1000 passengers. Before, it was completable even without transferring any passengers
- Message about cancelling emergency brakes can now be dismissed by re-enabling reverser
- Fixed lighting issue on ammeter in Nomernoy
- By default, Motion Blur is now off
- Fixed multiple errors that could lock up scenarios
- Other minor improvements

As you can see, now we're concentrated on fixing known bugs. In the next update, we'd like to add the indication of distance between you and the next traffic light.

Metro Simulator 2 has been released to Steam Early Access!

Metro Simulator 2 is now available in Steam Early Access!

You can ride along the Line 6, try out two trains and complete 4 scenarios or complete routes in Free Mode!

The game is 10% off in Steam right now.

This is a Beta, so please let us know if you encounreted a bug so that we could fix it in the next update.

Metro Simulator 2 is coming out on December 15th!

4 scenarios and Free Mode, along with all 24 stations of Line 6 and two trains will be available right away. Plans for further development will entirely depend on sales in Early Access.

Metro Simulator 2 is coming to Early Access soon, and we’re ready to tell you the initial price - 15$/15€.

You will see prices for other currencies once the game is released. We’ll try to match the price with local regional pricing.

More news about scenarios

We're now almost finished with the two tutorial scenarios. All bugs that were found in them are fixed, but we're still testing them to make sure we won't find more over time. After that, we'll concentrate on two regular scenarios. They are already playable, but they have some bugs which we need to fix. It shouldn't take long.

Recently, we made a small feature: lights on Oka train now dim when you enter the station and get back to bright mode when you leave it.

Added achievements to the game, eight of them to be precise.

Now we'll try to implement mirrors on stations. Performance problems are likely, so they will be optional and disabled by default.

On the previous week, we sent in-game texts for translation to the languages which are used in countries with the largest number of players added the game to their wishlist. Also, we're starting our work on Early Access trailer.

In general, not much work is left to be done until Early Access release. We'll announce the precise date later.

Current development progress

Don’t worry, we’re not gone. The development is still going on and doesn’t stop. We’re still aimed at releasing the game before the end of this year.
Testing of first two scenarios is almost done. Bugs can still be encountered, but there are fewer of them. We’re now working on two regular scenarios.

What should we add in the first place?

Metro Simulator 2 is still scheduled to arrive in Q4 2022. Now we're working on regular scenarios and tutorials.

It becomes obvious that we won't be able to add Russia train and AI-controlled trains before the game is released in Early Access. The latter will take months of work, probably.
