Feedback Fixes Day 3.5



We´ve been carefully reading all the feedback that reached us and have continued to tweak things accordingly – many thanks for all the encouraging words and to those supporting us in a constructive manner! The following changes are a direct result of your input:

Multiplayer
  • Portal Stone pickups should now count for all players
  • AOE indicators of bosses should be visible for all players
  • All items and weapons unlocked by any player can now drop in a run (formerly it was depend on the host’s unlocks only)
  • Bosses should have red outlines now
  • Further optimizations should now prevent players with lower-end internet connections from a desync

UI
  • Luck Perk description corrected (5% per rank)
  • Resurrection Perk description corrected (1 additional live per rank)
  • Tavern now also indicates that new classes can be bought inside (should help players who did not notice that there are more than the 4 starting classes)
  • Upon quitting a run intentionally the text no longer says that all progress will be lost

Localization
  • The UI language should now switch directly once another language was selected
  • added 2 more language version

Granted, there´s still a long way to go but as the dust from the first days after launch slowly begins to settle, we´re keen to work on the new features we already have in the pipeline - some have already been asked for. So, expect mow things to come in a not too distant future 😉

We have just released v0.190 which reacts to your good comments as follows:

Progression
  • reduced unlock costs of Stage 2 (East Bridge) and Stage 3 (Icy Fields)
  • reduced HP of the Portal Imp (dropping the Portal Stones)
  • players do no longer lose their progress when quitting a game intentionally (although the message still says so, that will be addressed soon)


Characters and Items
  • Priest should now start with more HP for more sustainability in an early run
  • Shield does now also appear next to the character and grants temporary invincibility when triggered
  • Sword cooldown upgrades should now reduce the cooldown correctly


Perks
  • Focus should now grant the correct amount of crit chance
  • Greed should now grant the correct amount of extra gold
  • GoldMagnet and PotionMagnet should now work correctly


Multiplayer
  • optimizations that address latency issues some players have been facing. Especially, Unity Relay is now acting correctly again for 24hrs after fixing their problems that caused our Multiplayer connections to fail.
    We will continue to analyse relay data traffic in order to improve the online MP experience for all of us near and far.


Lifestyle
  • Target FPS can now be selected in the Settings within reasonable boundaries


Additionally, as we are all enjoying to mow down the invaders at increasing speeds together – we’ve decided to honor that hero who by planning or coincidence fills up any next million of mobs killed in our Main Screen stats. Try to immortalise yourself as the MillionMower – surviving another 1 million of these ugly mobs!

And now, get away with them in virtually mow time!

V0.185 Day 1 – Feedback Fixes



We just deployed a new update incorporating a few fixes that were thankfully suggested by you, especially regarding progression and balancing.

Many thx for your constructive feedback!

We adjusted the following:
  • hitboxes / monster melee attacks
  • gold-drop increased to reduce grind
  • gold required to unlock extra chars (Rogue, Warlock) decreased
  • monster spawning on top of player impossible
  • Soul Rift perk immediate application


Unfortunately, the impossibility of any sort of Multi-Player weighs heavy. We have worked so hard to deliver an initial, yet nice MP experience and it worked until 6pm UTC last night, then the respective servers of our provider went dark and didn’t yet come back up. Rest assured, we are not using any small service. Yet, we are seeing reports about e.g. wide-spread WhatsApp outages and similar things affecting services including true household communication brands. Let’s see how this plays out…. Providing us with at least some time to improve what we can improve (see above).

Thus, many thx for your continued feedback – we listen and try to act accordingly asap.

Also, congrats for having mowed down already (nearly) 10 million mobs!

MIGHT’N MOW’EM entered Early Access



A big “thank you” to all of those who provided us with feedback after playing our Demo and participating in our Multiplayer Tests! Kindly note that we will reset the Leaderboards to even the start out for everyone. We took some screenshots so your achievements won´t be forgotten 😉

In case you played the Demo or earlier versions of MIGHT’N MOW’EM, kindly make sure to create a new “save game” as issues are expected when playing with old ones in the newest version.

Today, we have reached a point where we can open the doors to our Early Access version and continue forging MIGHT’N MOW’EM together with you.

Our Discord is the go-to place for all community feedback and will feature polls focusing on future content starting as early as today.

We would like you to help us steer the development toward community preferences!

Over the last weeks, we were primarily testing and optimizing the multiplayer experience, trying to make things smooth also for players with lower-end internet connections. We happily enjoyed cross-Atlantic 4 player online co-op, yet the multiplayer experience still correlates a lot with the internet connection – not surprisingly. We are very interested in your respective feedback to nurture further improvements also on that front.

For all of those who haven´t had the chance to play MIGHT’N MOW’EM yet, …

MIGHT’N MOW’EM Beginners Guide

  • In the village hub, you have access to all game features (such as Leaderboards, Perks, soon Quests etc.) by talking to the respective NPCs
  • The guy next to the blue portal (aka Harry Portal) will teleport you to the selected stage where the core gameplay happens
  • In a stage, your attacks trigger automatically – try to kill as many enemy invaders as possible with your attacks
  • Once the blue bar in the lower right is filled, you can unleash your class-specific ultimate by pressing “Space”
  • Collect the bones (basically XP) the enemies drop to level up your character and choose new temporary Upgrades for this run
  • Collect gold to spend it in the village hub on permanent Perks and to unlock new classes
  • Unlocking rare classes will make new weapons and items drop within a stage-run
  • Talk to the barkeeper within the tavern to get access to multiplayer


We have quite some content and updates in the making to further enhance the game experience. Some will address known issues whilst others will focus on classes, stages, weapons, and new features. Let’s set priorities together, our first poll will go live today on our ELEET GAMES Discord:
