Mini Royale Custom Games & Offline

Would you like to dive into Mini Royale with your yor friends or viewers?



Now, it's possible to enjoy the game together, even outside the official playtest sessions! Hosting a custom game requires being a Patreon at Level 3. If you're a streamer, simply reach out to us in the discord, and we'll provide you access.

Additionally, you have the option to log in for engaging in the tutorial or improving your skills with aim training.

Patch 0.27.0

Crash

  • Removed anti cheat crash that is caused by buggy steam updates


Weapons

  • Made individual shotgun pellets shoot out less randomly


Maps

  • Optimized the new map to bring it back this playtest. Please report any significant performance issues to us!
  • When a game starts the map is randomly chosen, so you either get the new or old map.


Misc

  • Upgraded Epic Online Service Version
  • This should fix some issues regarding Party stability and Connection Timeouts, but also addresses many other bugs
  • Worked on Servers, so we can provide Servers in non AWS Regions and work on server stuff without taking the game offline for players
  • Adjusted matchmaker so the games are created faster
  • Changed default viewmode to FPP for offline modes
  • Fixed issue where Anti Cheat related aborts were not displayed correctly by the crash reporter

Patch 0.26.0

Maps

  • New Map Addition: We've introduced a different map, emphasizing open spaces and minimizing vertical combat. This map is designed to offer a fresh experience compared to our initial offering. We'll be conducting a testing phase for this map and eagerly await your feedback


Interaction System

  • Interaction System Overhaul: We've reengineered the loot pickup mechanism to be more forgiving, allowing for a broader pickup radius. Additionally, we've implemented a priority system to resolve conflicts when multiple items overlap


Crash Fixes

  • Resolved an issue causing crashes related to loading Steam Avatars


MacOS

  • Addressed a startup problem on macOS builds, particularly on Sonoma


Server Enhancements

  • Enhanced server stability and the lifecycle of server sessions
  • Improved the auto-scaling of servers


Misc

  • Adjusted and improved matchmaking stability and timing
  • Refined several quest descriptions
  • Updated the handling of bug reports related to anti-cheat failures; the game will now inform players of a crash due to anti-cheat issues rather than displaying the Bug Report window

  • Implemented backend control over map rotation, eliminating the need for client-side updates for map pool changes

Patch 0.24.0

Reworked Revive-System

  • Needed recovery / time to revive now increases every time a player was knocked (1st: 50 recovery needed (5 seconds), 2nd: 75 recovery needed (7.5 seconds), 3rd: 100 recovery needed (10 seconds), 4th: 125 recovery needed (12.5 seconds)
  • Recovery time reset after every death/respawn
  • Dying a 5th time in one “life-period” will instantly eliminate you instead of knocking you out
  • When stopping to revive a teammate their recovery progress doesn’t reset to 0. It will reset to the last multiple of 25. For example: When stopping on 37 recovery, progress will be reset to 25 and will not shrink.

  • We know show errors as a confirmation text so people know when the party is not working as intended
