Hi guys, posting here just to say that I'm not dead and the game update is still being done, just slowly.
Again, for those that dont know yet, I decided to port/rewrite the whole game in Unity engine, as the previous version ran on a custom engine that I made myself and that was the main reason behind the bugs / stability.
Current progress of porting the game
- Battle system 100%
- Controls 100%
- Save system 50%
- Splitscreen co-op 100%
- Multiplayer 10%
- Graphical system 20%
Hopefully just one more month or two will be enough, but I can't promise a date yet. Note that I also decided to do lots of gameplay changes, but probably I will do that only after releasing the update.

News about the big Minimon update
Hi guys!
As most of you know, there weren't any new patches in the last months since I'm rewriting the game in a new engine, to fix tons of problems with game.
I've been a bit silent regarding updates, I was too busy working on this, but now I finally have something to show!

Some notes:
The colors/textures/models are still not the final version
There are some clipping issues
Already has proper gamepad support, you can now finally use the left stick to move
Is still soon to give a specific release date, but I hope to have more stuff to show soon, stay tuned!
Minimon Update #24 - 31 March
Hi guys!
Many players were reporting that their character was appearing bald after playing for a while, so I just fixed that, with this new patch the hair will return to your character.
PS: I've been silent for some weeks, but don't worry, I've been working on the new game version every single day, I'll reveal some new details once its possible.

Minimon Update #23 - 27 December
First, some news about the Minimon remake.
Movement system rewrite is now done, and it is not tile-based anymore, allowing more movement freedom (including support for analog joysticks!)
Wild monsters artificial inteligence rewrite done, they now have different personalities (agressive, shy, etc) and can react if you throw food in the ground
Local co-op rewrite in progress, now if you have just 2 players no longer it will require wasting the bottom screen
And here's what this patch fixes:
Black boosters are now working
Some menus were not displaying the monster levels in some languages (including English)
Local-co temporarily disabled in offline mode (still usable in online menu + local server)
Minimon Update #22 - 21 December
Ho ho ho, there's a Christmas event going on in the Minimon world, login in as soon as possible!
Talk with the Santa Claus near Clocktown and start your quest, there's an exclusive Christmas monster waiting for you!
Also this update comes with the following fixes:
It is now possible to give vitamin and food items to your monsters and main character.
It seems that the level was not updating correctly after battles without logging out, it is now fixed
I did a big rewrite of the servers, expect more stability now

Minimon Update #21 - 6 November
Minimon was show yesterday at Lisbon Game Week, thanks to everyone who played the game there!
There was lots of feedback from the players, and some bugs were found, so here's a new patch.
Changed battle menus (now uses keys, check pic!)
Fixed world map loading (was invisible before)
Some small stability fixes
Updated all 3 version (Windows, Mac and Linux)
Minimon Update #20 - 25 October
A new Minimon patch is now ready, that adds some optimizations and fixes some bugs.
Also there was a change of plans, the big patch that I promised is now canceled. Instead I've been revamping the whole game from the ground up on those last months, and essentially porting the game to a new engine.
I'll start publishing videos/pics of this new version soon. Until then, I'll keep releasing small patches to the current version as necessary.
Servers restored
Hi Minimon players!
The online servers are now restored and should continue working online unless something bad happens.
Meanwhile, I continue working on the big watch, please wait a bit more for it.

Big patch coming soon
Minimon News
As you can see, last weekend there was no update, and probably there wont be another in next weekend.
The reason is that I'm working a big update that is not something that can be finished in one week. Some parts of the game are a bit unpolished, and I'm addressing that issue with this patch.
Things that I'm going to remake:
Interface (all the menus, etc)
Battle flow (needs more action, less boring text everywhere)
Other small details
Meanwhile, keep reporting bugs and ask any questions you want.

Minimon Update #19 - 16 July
Robot body patch
I've received some complaints that the robot class turned players into floating heads without body. This is now fixed.
Robot bodies are now working properly
Fixed some quest scripts
Changed the game type/element system (work in progress)
Prepared game for new monster mutation system (coming soon)
