Quick update about the "black screen" issue
I just updated the game with a very small change, hopefully to fix the "black screen when fullscreen" issue that many players had lately.
What this update does is simply run the game with vsync enabled the first time you boot it. If you have this issue and the game was already installed prior to this update, you will have to follow the steps below.
By default, that option was disabled. I ran some tests with our community members and I was told enabling vsync fixed this problem. Previously, we had a workaround using Windows 8 compatibility mode, but I fully understand that's a hassle for the players.
In case you'd like to disable vsync for some reason (it can possibly cause problems with streaming/recording of the game), or if you want to enable it to fix this issue without having to mess with compatibility mode, you can do so like this:
1) Open the "config.ini" file at the folder Users\YourUserName\AppData\Local\MomodoraRUtM
"YourUserName" should be replaced by whatever the username in your computer is.
2) Change the "vsync" line to either vsync="0" or vsync="1".
To disable it, leave it at 0. To enable it, leave it at 1.
3) Save the changes and restart the game.
Newer installations from now on that generate a new config.ini file will have vsync enabled by default, which should solve this issue.
Please post a message in case there are any issues with this change and I'll look into it as soon as I can.
I'd also like to apologize for figuring out this quite late. I was not aware vsync was the root of the problem, or it would have been fixed much sooner. Shoutouts to the folks at Vlambeer for giving me this tip :>

Version 1.04d Update
This is a quick update message regarding a minor patch that went up last night. The game was updated with two fixes for some issues. The list of changes is:
-Fixed an issue where arrows would not work correctly when both the "Drill Arrows" item and the "Quick Arrows" item were equipped at the same time.
-Fixed a framerate issue which happened to some players when you got the "Healthy!" achievement.
In other news, it seems an official announcement was made about Momodora: RUtM coming to the PS4! We've been busy with console ports, and once they are complete we'll move onto porting the game to other platforms.

-Fixed an issue where the camera would be locked if you timed a screen transition with a roll just as the Edea/Frida bosses were defeated.
Deceber 31th update:
-Fixed a softlock at the castle area if you got a specific Vitality Fragment as a cat and landed on a platform that breaks.
-Fixed an issue where the menu key would not load correctly (Shift would become Enter) when you opened the game for the second time.
