Traditional Chinese Localization launches just in time for Lunar New Year!
First of all, we’d like to wish a very happy Lunar New Year to all of you celebrating the transition to the Year of the Tiger! It’s shaping up to be a great one not only for Coach, but for all of Spooky High’s faculty and student body.
The first bit of good news for the year comes in the form of a new language update!
Traditional Chinese localization has been made available for all of Monster Prom’s and its DLC, Second Term, in-game texts and will become accessible as soon as this update goes live.
It represents a big stride in making Monster Love a global phenomenon and we proudly stand by it, along with our partners at Whisper Games that made the localization possible!
Picking up where we left off in terms of good news - a saucy 69% discount on Monster Prom - the base game, as well as a 30% discount for the Second Term DLC will be available between January 27th and the 3rd of February. Sounds like a pretty nifty gift idea if you ask us, especially with Valentine’s Day being right around the corner.

The Monster Prom Franchise Bundle drops today along with other surprise treats!

Spooky High attendance grows with over 5K reviews on Steam!
Attention students,
It has been brought to the faculty’s attention that a record in Spooky High attendance has been set. Now, not all of the 5k Steam reviews we’ve received are glowing, but most of them are pretty wholesome for our neck of the woods. So, in accordance with school policy, we’ve decided to give the student body the opportunity to support us further with even more reviews. However, for that to happen, we must first bolster the ranks of Spooky High students with some new recruits.
Long story short, here are a bunch of free Steam keys to be enjoyed in a “first come, first served” fashion:

First Patch for Monster Prom’s Simplified Chinese Localization Out Now!
As the localization of Monster Prom in Simplified Chinese has been a “trial and error” type of task, we are glad to be able to bring you some good news for a change. Based on your feedback, we have provided certain fixes that should ensure smoother playthroughs from now on.
For our 2nd birthday we just want to say “Thank You” with an update on top!

Time goes by fast when you’re attending Spooky High. After 2 full years of monster-loving misadventures, we want to take the time to say “Thank You” to all the people (and monsters) that helped us get this far. Consider this small but fierce update our birthday gift to you!
What to expect from The “Thank You” Update?
Well, as you are probably well aware by now, we don’t want to reveal too much content-wise, because we want you to discover the details on your own. The one thing that can be revealed without fear of spoilers is that this story will be following a mysterious letter.

PS: As you’ve probably already noticed, alongside The ''Thank You'' Update we also made one additional change to the game.
After many months of careful consideration, we have decided to go with a completely new original soundtrack for Monster Prom. Some of you might be hurt by this, but believe us, it hurt us just as much.
Looking back to the last two years, we realised that we always put the best interest of our wonderful community first, and this situation makes no exception.
Thus, we made a decision to go with a commissioned all new original soundtrack, composed specifically for Monster Prom. This change will benefit all of our future collaborators and content creators in the long term, making sure that their work is fully protected on all social media & live streaming platforms for many years to come.
