Two Beautiful New Shirts - Pre-Order for a Free Bonus!

We're pairing up with The Yetee to bring two new shirts, never before sold on any store.

One features the art of Kelly Smith (otherwise known as @beatfist), with the Songweaver paying tribute to the Queen of Heaven. The other is a remix of the classic Kickstarter Spellblade design, but with new colors and on a lovely navy blue.

Click through to check out the shirts!

If you pre-order them before April 19th, you'll get a free Goddess sticker added as a bonus. Send us pictures of you wearing the shirt (or sticker) for free retweets, or wear them to the PAX East booth for free hugs.

Cheers,
Tanya & the Kitfox team

P.S.
Also, we patched a little bit today with some save file loading fixes & V-Sync toggle.

Now for Mac & Linux! +10 new encounters! +Keybinds!

Hooray! You can now play Moon Hunters on Mac OSX and Linux, in addition to Windows.

You can even play across all 3 platforms Online, if you have your port forwarding set up correctly.

In the same patch, we also enabled keybindings while offline. We ALSO added 10 new encounters, scattered around the world. Plus we fixed a bunch of other stuff! If you're curious about the detailed patchnotes, check out the patch notes thread on the forums and have fun!

Our next priority is 100% sorting out all of your online issues, so wish Marcelo luck as he heads into the belly of the beast.

Thank you for your support!
Tanya & the Kitfox team

Thanks for a Great Launch Day!

Thanks to everyone who helped spread the word about Moon Hunters yesterday! The game released on Steam, Humble, itch.io, and IndieGameStand!

We've had a few glowing articles published recently, including:

* "Zelda Meets Diablo in the Gorgeous Moon Hunters" by IGN
* "The Importance of Player Stories in Moon Hunters" by Indiegames.com
* A "GREAT" (four-star) rating by WeGotThisCovered
* And lots more, but you get the idea!

If you have played the game, please leave us a Steam review! It really helps!

I'm also still sorting through all of your lovely emails and messages, but it's clear most of you have been cheering us on for two years and your support has meant the world to us. We were briefly #22 in the top sellers, beating out Dark Souls III!

This is just the beginning, and we're already planning out what will be in the patches to come every week. Today we hope to put up a couple of fixes for the Options menu and Character Select screen, and next week we're focusing on optimizations.

How else can I play Moon Hunters?

Other than Humble, itch, and IndieGameStand, we were initially planning (and had announced) coming to GOG yesterday. But at the last minute, we decided to delay the GOG build until the Online mode goes out of "beta", to better-suit the nature of GOG.

Taking everything into account, this is the current release schedule for all of the remaining (confirmed) Moon Hunters platforms:

GOG.com: March 24th (and Online leaves Beta)
Mac & Linux: March 31st
PS4: June-July
PSVita: August-September

We are also considering other platforms, but for now it's one step at a time. Thank you AGAIN for all of your support and patience! <3

Cheers,
Tanya & the Kitfox team

Moon Hunters is out now!

And it's that time! The best time!

This is only the beginning, really, as we intend to keep making the game bigger and better over the coming months and years. We're so excited to share the game with you today!

Thank you so much to our fans, followers, backers, and supporters! Tell your friends!

1 week till launch! Sharpen your blade!

Less than 2 weeks until launch: March 10th!

Woosh!

That was the sound of time flying past.

Very soon now, Moon Hunters will be released to the world and we'll see what you think of our little game. Mark March 10th in your calendars to buy it on day 1!

In the meantime, you might have noticed we also have activated the original soundtrack as a purchaseable DLC. It will be available separately for $9.99, or for an additional $4.99 as part of the Soundtrack Edition of the game (total $19.99).

Wish us luck squashing all of these bugs in the time we have left...!

Release Delayed 2 Weeks: March 10th

Hey Moon Hunters!

We're in the final days, fixing and tweaking and adjusting here and there, making everything just a little bit more beautiful and bug-free.

However, we ran into a small snag, and need to overhaul the way online data is being saved -- this should only take the Amazing Marcelo a little while, but we want to make 100% sure that the game is great at launch (or as great as we can, being a small team). So, after much discussion, we decided to delay until March 10th.

By way of apology, here's some dancing animals.

We're sorry for any disappointment, but we promise that it's all for the best. If you have any YouTuber, livestreamer, or press friends, now is the time to let them know about Moon Hunters, so we can have the best launch day possible!

Cheers,
Tanya & the Kitfox team

Dev Diary January: 5 weeks before launch!

Our January dev diary is out, announcing that the Steam (PC) launch date is February 25th! Mac and Linux versions will follow in the weeks after.

Written version: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/kitfoxgames/moon-hunters-a-myth-weaving-rpg/posts/1461619

We also hope you'll tune in tomorrow, the afternoon of January 21st (3-5pm EST) to vote on the Songweaver's dance moves while Mike live-animates on Twitch!

Meanwhile we're trying not to panic! Fun times! Wish us luck!

Joyfully,
Tanya & the Kitfox team
