Added:
<*>Added nine new elementalism spells and scroll seals.
<*>Added some new Ai to fight.
<*>Added elementalist titles.
<*>Added support for weather detail in the in game options menu.
<*>Added support for items that add buffs/de-buffs.
<*>Added a Disguise Kit item. This item will add a buff and while the buff is active all messages sent to a thievery target will have the buff owners name changed to "Someone in disguise" making it more difficult for him/her to know who is stealing or snooping.
<*>Added a Shady Supplier NPC that sells Disguise kits to thieves, he can be found in any city in some shady place.
<*>Added support for structure spawners that do not move, which gives us the option to add structures such as small camps spawning where humanoid Ai spawns to make the world seem more alive.
<*>Thieves that are hidden criminal can now bribe local guards for a cost of 1G.
If they have the money to bribe the guard their hidden criminal flag will get removed after 5 minutes. Any new thievery actions during this time will cancel the bribe effect.
<*>Made a new much cheaper rain and snow effect that gets turned on when players set weather detail to the lowest amount.


Changes:

  • You can now steal trinkets.
  • Made icons for spells a bit cleaner.
  • Crushing Rock spell now knocks down mounted players from their mount.
  • Animated undeads in the arena will now be killed by arena guards.
  • Wild AI in the arena will now get killed by the arena guards if they are attacking something.
  • Players with the option "Allow attacks against blue characters" set to OFF can no longer damage and reveal hidden criminals. Note that you can still use push to reveal a hidden criminal even with this option off.
  • Increased the drop rate on Elementalism scrolls.
  • Improved the collision in the Gaul Kor Spider Cave.
  • Tweaked some attacks on the Sarducaa Fighting Pit Bosses.


Fixes:

  • Fixed rare crash in vendors.
  • Fixed rare crash in shader connected to time of day.
  • Made code for player banish stat more safe.
  • Fixed issue where players with illegal items would get approached by guards while logging in and not give them enough time to reply to the guards requests.
  • Fixed issue with thief detection where thieves could be detected even if no one was looking directly at them.
  • Improved loading of levels to avoid players falling through the world when loading in on slower computers. This will hopefully fix all fall through issues in dungeons and other locations.
  • Fixed issue where you could only get hit by elementalist spells once, even if you should have been hit more times.
  • Fixed issue with bags UI not closing as they should when moving around.
  • Fixed issue with items that had weight less than 0.
  • Fixed typos in Spiritism spell description.
  • Fixed issue with life on projectiles not always being correctly calculated.
  • Fixed weather not instantly switching when you first login.
  • Fixed a light glitch at the Sheevra Elementalist location.

Krampos Final Leaderboards



This year's Krampus event has come to an end.

No longer will the docks in Tindrem be covered in feathers and blood and it's all thanks to you the community!

From the 18th of december to the 16th of January brave souls from all over Nave came together to slaughter poor innocent and defenseless birds.

In total the community cut down over half a million chickens.

Elementalism Phase 1 is out! Watch the trailer!



The first phase of Elementalism has been patched and a whole bunch of new spells have been added to the game!
We also put together this little trailer to show you a little bit of this new type of magic:

As you can see, this new magic has a brand new targeting system and utilizes a new type of projectiles.
This means that you will need to both aim and lead your target if you want to succeed.

The raised skill ceiling when casting these spells means that we can make them a bit more devastating than usual.
Most of them deal some kind of AOE damage and some can even be used to take down buildings!

Added:

  • Added support for server-sided projectiles.
  • Added support for pickable objects that require an item that gets destroyed once used.
  • Added more death FX.
  • Added a new pickable resource.
  • Added Elementalism Magic School.

  • These spells can not be cast when moving or mounted.
  • All Elementalism spells are targeted using a new targeting system.
  • Elementalism projectiles are server-projectiles meaning you will need to lead your target if you want to hit.


Changes:

  • Tweaked the Fabernum Sewer ladder that sometimes pushed players off.
  • Mouse sensitivity in the settings menu now use steps of 1 instead of 2.
  • Dark Orders no longer make animated pets attack fledglings.
  • Made custom icons for spell seals for Necromancy and Elementalism.
  • All attributes that are lower than 10 (without buffs) will now clamp to 10 as they should.


Fixes:

  • Fixed an issue where guards could be called inside the Tindrem Graveyard crypts.
  • Fixed the spell book not updating page when showing spiritism spells.
  • Fixed a crash when you used a summoning circle that was being removed.
  • Fixed issue where miners and lumberjacks would give buff to dead players.
  • Stolen pet receipts can no longer be used in stables.
  • Attribute rings can no longer lower stats below 10.
  • Mental Projectile and Death Hand now correctly gives prominence and stats.

Patch Notes 1.86.01.28



Added:

  • Added a new Demon Lair location! (This is a hard to get to, and very dangerous place!)
  • Added support for a new type of world objects that can be destroyed.
  • Added a /loot command that will open the very first loot bag in a very small radius.
  • Added a new type of demon enemy.
  • Added a new minable rock type.
  • Added a new extractable resource.
  • Added a new pickable resource with interesting effects.
  • Added new color variations of Demons.
  • Added some new loot to the new Demons.
  • Added better support for effects that trigger when ai is killed.
  • Added dynamic traps that changes locations randomly.
  • Re-added blunt damage to mounted thrust attacks. (No dismounts still though)

  • Increased Durability on Lances.
  • Slightly increased damage on Lance heads.
  • Tweaked the Lance animations a bit to make it easier to aim with Lances from horses.
  • Some overall world polish.
  • Tweaked the weather a bit to make it less rainy.
  • Underground areas does no longer get impacted by outside world fog.


Fixes:

  • Fixed a typo when placing lumber mills.
  • Fixed up a lot of animation issues with the demons.
  • Fixed missing water stream from Fabernum mountains.
  • Fixed some dynamic lights in the Huergar Cave that did not work correctly.

Yes, our server host is currently experiencing technical issues.
