- Disabled blocking matchmaking for higher ping players by trying to find lower ping players first, then searching for any ping regardless of the maximum ping threshold. - Fixed a bug causing the sandbox modifier to get stuck in multiplayer custom mode.

Happy to announce our brand new Stability Update! We want your experience with MOTHERGUNSHIP: FORGE to be incredible each and every time--barring your inevitable violent demise, of course. That's why our latest update focuses on stability. Improved Multiplayer systems, save profile reliability, and clearing up a few pesky bugs that could mar your run. So get back out there, recruit! That purple stuff isn't going to collect itself!
Change Log: - Fixed an issue where it was possible for a save file to become corrupted, resulting in a loss of player data and inability to progress afterward. - P2P support has been refactored and should be more stable. - Improved Memory Usage and Performance when playing longer missions. - Added dynamic pixel density scaling to improve performance in complex scenarios. - Fixed the Witch's Hat cap and Hug Bot Soup cap. These were unintentionally only restocking pedestals that were empty. - Update to only spawn Sandwich cap in main modes (not gauntlet). - Fixed Vampire Bat cap never causing health to be dropped. Now excluded from Gauntlet/Endless modes due to balance. - Fixed an issue where the client saving mission data could fail to happen on large mission files. - Fixed a bug where sometimes you couldn't continue a run with the same partner stored with the mission. - Fixed a bug where you could continue a mission and have your health be zero. - Fixed a bug where it was possible to access sandbox mode in multiplayer. - Fixed bug where client wasn't properly displaying the server's health/armor. - Fixed an issue where client could be awarded XP from a single player mission when starting a multiplayer mission. - Fixed potential crash due to local player character not being valid yet. - Fixed an audio thread lock up. - Fixed an issue where favorite guns could unexpectedly bloat save file. - Reduced the size of mission saves. - Fixed lighting artifacts in some levels. - Increased the default and max volume of voice chat. - Fixed an issue on Steam where the client could lose track of a mission in progress. - Fixed visual issues when loading into another player's session.

Hello Folks! In Mothergunship: Forge news, we just pushed a hotfix to Quest 2. This update will be coming to Steam as soon as possible as well, too; just dealing with a PC-specific issue first.
-Fixed several crashes improving overall stability
Updated to hide the client's character until they are fully loaded
When the server suspends a run in a matchmade mission players are now disconnected
Reduced spawn weight of IceCream/Banana Caps.
Added potential fix for known issues related to save file corruption.
Fixed bug where the server was sometimes unable to resume an in-progress mission on matchmade mission.
Fixed Brawler’s Fortune Cap
Fixed bug where it was possible to sell parts multiple times
Fixed bug where parts could be sold while still on the shop pedestal
Fixed bug where the aiming line for the client was not positioning properly
Fixed bug with the Ghost Cap affecting the entrance door
Fixed bug where you could resume missions without your original partner
Fixed bug where projectiles were not bouncing in proper direction
Fixed bug where doing "Play Again" for the Co-op Gauntlet would not give the client any starting parts
Fixed crash that could happen if the players took multiple killing blows
Fixed issue where sometimes old gun data was not properly being cleared for multiplayer missions
Fixed an issue where the server's glowing fists can be stuck on permanently from the client's point of view
Also, while we've tackled a lot of the issues as we've seen it, we suspect there is still an rare bug out there of some players getting stuck in the results screen and losing progress. ANNIVERSARY UPDATE!!!
Bust out of the picnic blanket and light the sparklers. Let’s kick off this summer with a wonderfully delicious party and the new ANNIVERSARY UPDATE in celebration of one year since the release of MOTHERGUNSHIP: FORGE!
One year ago we introduced VR fans to the wacky world of MOTHERGUNSHIP, as well as our terrible sense of humor. The game shipped with no shortage of stuff, but in the year that followed we doubled down on adding more; more gun parts , more modes, co-op, mobs, levels–it’s been a very busy year and we’re proud of what we’ve made!
That said, we couldn’t let a full year pass since our release without giving a bit of recognition! The ANNIVERSARY UPDATE brings you an array of new goodies to enjoy. First off, what would a celebration be without a buffet of tasty treats? We’ve got a decked out HQ to check out and a suite of FOOD gunparts to unlock: Ice Cream Cone Cap, Pizza Cap, Bacon Cap, Pancake Cap and much more… all ready to… not be consumed… because they are made of metal. Yes, it may have been a year, but some things don’t change. Everything is still made of metal around here.
And when you’re ready to work off some of those… uh… metal calories… why not try out the new FIERY FISTS MODE? Get ready to unleash fiery punchy death upon the MOTHERGUNSHIP’S armies… but be ready for a workout! This mode is the most aerobic MOTHERGUNSHIP experience to date.
We’ve also got a fair bit of balance and quality of life improvements to share, including the ability to now SUSPEND multiplayer runs with friends as well as the ability to sell gun parts in shops for a small bit of change,new Achievements for multiplayer, some quality-of-life fixes for custom mode and the usual caravan of bug fixes and balance tweaks rounding out the festivities.
It’s been a busy year at Terrible Posture Games, and we’re happy to have been able to keep putting more into this zany game. At this point, we are not sure if more content updates will be coming to Forge (maybe?), but I feel nothing for gratitude for our fans and community. You all have kept us motivated and excited to make MOTHERGUNSHIP: FORGE the best we could make it. Ultimately, this is a party for you, players; Happy Anniversary, friends, and thank you.

The Holidays are here! Delicious treats, secret Santa, decorations galore, and a very merry FESTIVE UPDATE to MOTHERGUNSHIP: FORGE.
Put on your VR headset, queue up MOTHERGUNSHIP:FORGE and deck your gun with holiday cheer. There’s over 15 new gun parts, including the snowman and the gingerbread cap which will snuff out the holly in any metal monstrosity’s jolly. There’s also the snow thrower. Revel in childhood memories of snowball fights and kick it up a notch for MOTHERGUNSHIP: FORGE. The throwing arm of this weapon never tires and it’s perfectly designed to help you sleigh your enemies.
In addition to more ways to craft and destroy with our epic holiday gun parts, players we’ll discover a festively decorated HQ, new Suspend run options, and a ton of quality of life updates to our Campaign Co-op mode. Now at version 1.0! With all modes and perks playable in coop sessions and new options for playing with both friends and strangers; there’s no better way to spend the holidays than in Mothergunship: Forge!
The holiday cheer doesn’t stop there. We roasted our chestnuts, then cooked up something special for our MOTHERGUNSHIP: FORGE community - Custom Mode! This all new mode might not be a challenge to survive, but hopefully should bring you some holiday joy and new toys for you to play with.
We’ve had a lot of fun at Terrible Posture Games putting together this new content for our players. We are grateful for your continued support and feedback, and want this holiday update to be a way for our entire community to celebrate this season.

Multiplayer:
Co-op Campaign 1.0: All Game Modes (except Sandbox) and Perks are now available for Co-op.
Solo Matchmaking Support: Players can now be in matchmaking while playing a solo mission. Their solo run will be suspended on successful match.
Added Party Up to HQ button to Co-op Results UI for matchmade sessions. Players can now agree to “Party Up” and return to the HQ to continue playing together with their newfound friends!
Added Play Again button to Co-op Main Mode result screen.
Gun construction is now locked after choosing a door to prevent accidental loss of parts.
Fixed rare crash related to talking in voice chat while changing levels.
Shop pedestals are automatically restocked one time in co-op, offering players more items to purchase.
Fixed a crash on client if specific gun setups were being fired immediately after loading a new level.
When a shop pedestal that was shared is restocked the new item is no longer shared automatically.
Updated rewards positioning for client to be more consistent.
Players can now change their door selection if their partner has not yet chosen one.
Fixed an issue where sticky projectiles that bounce were not being stopped properly on the client, causing too many to appear.
