Motorsport Revolution VR for MAC OSX Released Today!
We're happy to announce that today we've officially released the MAC OSX version of Motorsport Revolution. After getting lots of great feedback from the community for the initial launch, we feel that MAC users with Oculus VR hardware are anxious to get into the game.
Rest assured that this remains the same, highly optimized VR experience that PC users already have enjoyed, and that MAC users will be able to compete on the same tracks with the same cars available in the PC version.
Stay tuned for future updates, as we have some new cars and brand new tracks planned for the no so far off future.
This is for players that commented in our forums for some fixes/changes. The logitech control should now be improved, in addition to added force feedback effects for grass, off road, and slicks.
The XP system is now complete and will not be changed until ship, so any unlocks that you complete will be available in the final release version.

Completed XP Leveling and Car Class Unlocks
The basic XP system is now complete. Car Class and Track Unlocks are now in the game. Multiple XP is awarded in Advanced Classes.

New 3D car selection menus and environment - December 22, 2014
Some users thought that the main menu was weak, and did not enhance immersion in VR. With that in mind we've updated the main menu and car selection screens to be fully 3D. Now you can browse the car livery in real space and get an even better look at the models!

- improved AI behaviors on all cars, there will still be crashes, but overall AI is more arressive and attempts to match player position to make races closer.
- rebuilt prototype performance characteristics, Traction control, Stability Control, and are all disabled for difficulty and realism.
- number of AI cars cahnged from 8 to 10 as I saw no real performance drop and it makes the races more interesting.
- first pass at new end race screen, still needs some work and does not currently display stats from your race.
- added fade out to end of race before returning to main menu
- changes collision particles to smoke spray effect

- totally rebuilt the player physics system, the handling now is much more
responsive and realistic, especially on the upper level cars like the formula and prototype cars. Traction Control, Anti-lock Brakes, and Stability Control are all 'on' by default in this build. I was on the fence about releasing this version update becuase as a result of the physics overhaul, the AI is now completely janked, and has an even sloppier turning response due to the new track physics settings. With that in mind, the fact the the player control is so greatly improved in this version, I felt that the minor inconvience of horrible AI was a acceptable 'bug' that I can fix in the next update. In my opinion the better physics makes the game a lot more fun, with or without the AI working perfectly.
- added new car class Le Mans with Prototype GT
- added 2 new Formula cars, different textures subset
- added "wrong way" indicator
- added alternate camera views, mapped to 'C' key by default. I did not have time to test all of this views, as they must be set for each car individually. If you find any that are really bad, or wish the view was different on any car, comment on it and I'll fix it.
- fixed some bad collisions on Australia and Brazil.
- fixed some bad textures on Canada
- fixed incorrect tree shading on Italy
- changed foliage shading in menu to animate with wind

MotorSport Revolution Build ver 1.4.6.4 Updated November 26, 2014
- added 3 new car interiors, 1986 Supertoy, BV SuperSport, Stephenson GP4 12C
- Fixed some errors on Bulldog ZLR, Bruiser V8, Thoroughbred V8, and Z superchager
This effectively completes all of the car interiors, most likely the Touring Sport class will be removed in the final version and will be replaced by the Prototype class.
Next up on the roadmap will be to start balancing the AI drivers to better reflect the current class and make the races more competitive,
fix any holes in the tracks collisions,
balance the player car handling,
complete the end-of-race graphics as well as add "wrong way" and disabled lap in pit graphics.
Make adjustments to multiple driver cams
Refine the Logitech Force Feedback system
Add experience points and career mode with car unlocks
