It’s time for a new community update about MudRunner and what we have planned for the future.
We know that many of you are wondering if MudRunner will see more content added or if the next step is the release of MudRunner 2. We’re happy to confirm that we have a new free DLC planned for MudRunner.
We’ll unveil more details about this DLC in the upcoming months but you can expect something similar to the various free DLCs already released for MudRunner, such as The Ridge or The Valley.
Most of the team is now focused on the development of MudRunner 2. During Focus’ yearly press event “What’s Next”, much more info will be shared about the game. As some of you noticed, although it was originally scheduled for February, it has been moved to April 10-11. We’re sorry about this but it’s ultimately for the best, as we’ll have a lot more to show in April.

American Wilds Update 27/12/2018
Hello everyone!
Today, we’re happy to launch a patch on PC, featuring bug fixes and gameplay improvements. As usual, please don’t hesitate to leave your feedback or ask us any questions you may have with regards to the changes.

Bug fixes
Conflict between controller and mouse in fullscreen fixed.
Multiple mesh/texture issues corrected (new trucks, houses, addons)
Minor fixes to some of the truck attributes (suspension, mass properties)
Improvements
Behaviour of 4x4 scout vehicles in the mud improved: smaller vehicles are more off-road capable now and more stable in mud
Visual improvements to USA maps.
Minor improvements to some of the addons (platform with loader is now longer)
Some visual improvements: "birch" trees have now brown bark
Modifications to new USA maps : additional routes added, and only 1 instead of 2 fuel stations are now available per map, making them more challenging and requiring more strategic thinking.
It's the end of October, and with that comes another Community Update, as I'm sure you all have been expecting.
Today also marks a very special day for the MudRunner community! It's been a year since MudRunner released, and we've come a long way since then! We'd like to thank the community for spending so much time in our games, and for helping us make MudRunner the best off-roading game it can be.

We'd also like to extend a very special thanks to the MudRunner modders. You all do incredible work, and we're honoured that you spend so much time creating your own works in MudRunner. We can't wait to see what you do next!
In this past year, not only did MudRunner release, but we've seen the release of three DLC packs! Join me now while we go through all the cool new things we saw released this year.
Firstly, MudRunner itself - released on October 31st, 2017, bringing the franchise to Xbox One and PS4 for the first time! In the run up to the release, we released vehicle presentations for the most iconic vehicles in the game - all of which can continue to be seen on in our new area specifically made to collect previous vehicle presentations!
After that, we released The Valley, the first of three DLCs, which introduced one large new map to the game, and three new vehicles!
Then, in May, we released The Ridge, which introduced not only a new map and two new vehicles, but also a challenging new game mode, Scavenge, which tasked you with recovering lost lumber from around the map, instead of collecting it from lumber mills.
Then, just this last week, on October 23rd, MudRunner - American Wilds was released, a brand new premium DLC that introduced nine new vehicles to the game, and two new maps!

And that brings us to today, October 31st, exactly one year since MudRunner first released! We'd like to thank each and every one of you for sticking with us this long, and we hope that the next year is as great for you as this last year was for the community!
Looking forwards, we've got a couple of projects to keep us busy! Most immediately, we've got the Switch version of MudRunner, which brings the game to the portable platform, meaning you can get muddy wherever you are!
In the further future, we have MudRunner 2, a still in early development project that we're all very excited about here at Focus and Saber.
For now, we're going to focus on the Switch version of the game, and will have more news for you in the future!

Indie hit MudRunner gets even better today with the American Wilds expansion available on PC, PS4, and Xbox One - Switch version November 27.

All of this is available in the new expansion, or as a stand-alone Edition which collects the base game, the expansion, and all the DLC released so far together in one package.
Overcome muddy terrain, raging rivers, and other obstacles that realistically react to the weight and movement of your vehicle, powered by the game's advanced physics engine. American Wilds brings, for the first time, well-known vehicles such as the Ford F-150, the Chevrolet K5 Blazer, and GM’s iconic Hummer, among others.
This increases the total amount of available content to 33 vehicles and upwards of 60 add-ons, all playable solo or with up to three others in co-op multiplayer. On PC they join hundreds of mods created by the passionate MudRunner community for an ever-evolving experience.
Also added to the roster are two sandbox maps inspired by Montana, North Dakota, and Minnesota. They are Mount Logmore and Grizzly Creek and come with a pair of new challenges for crane operation and flatbed delivery.

Vehicle Description: A powerful working vehicle, the K-9000 Forwarder is a loader that you can rely on to move not only logs, but vehicles that may get trapped in treacherous terrain.
Game Stats: The K-9000 has always on differential lock, as well as all-wheel drive availability.
Strengths: Featuring a loading crane and an integrated cart, the Forwarder is more than prepared for log collection, and with its powerful engine and large wheels, is able to do so on any terrain.
Weaknesses: The K-9000 is a powerful vehicle, but that power comes at the price of speed and maneuverability. The K-9000 is locked behind balance points.

Vehicle Description:
A powerful working vehicle, the K-8400 Skidder is a loader that you can rely on to move not only logs, but vehicles that may get trapped in treacherous terrain.
Game Stats:
The K-8400 has always on differential lock, as well as all-wheel drive capabilities.
Strengths:
With its powerful engine and huge wheels, the Skidder is easily able to collect logs from harsh places, and pull other vehicles through harsh terrain.
Weaknesses:
The Skidder is only able to attach a medium log trailer, and so relies on its crane or other vehicles to carry other loads to lumber mills. The K-8400 is also locked behind balance points.

In the run-up to American Wild's release, we're bringing back Vehicle Presentations - today, we'll be talking about Ford F150!
Vehicle Description:
A smaller vehicle, the F150 is equipped with the ability to drive in all-wheel drive and take advantage of differential lock, as well rear-wheel drive when not in all-wheel drive mode. A powerful consumer vehicle, the F150 is a useful four-wheel drive utility vehicle.
Game Stats:
With a smaller fuel tank than the large trucks, The F150 is a great vehicle for scouting with its 80 litre fuel tank, but relies on closer support vehicles to make longer trips. Able to take 300 points of damage as well, the Ford can more than make its way around the map easily.
Strengths:
A speedy, nimble vehicle, Ford F150 is at home on the roads and in the mud. If you need to scout a new path, you can rely on this vehicle to get you where you need to be.
Weaknesses:
As with all smaller vehicles, the Ford F150 has a small complement of add-ons, and so won't be doing the majority of the workhorse work for your vehicle fleet.

Today, we're very excited to be talking to you about the Chevrolet Bison 1979!
MudRunner - American Wilds releases on October 23rd.
Vehicle Description: A speedy truck on road, The Bison is a reliable vehicle able to get your loads where they need to be, and not troubled by inclines or tough roads.
Game Stats: Without all-wheel drive, the Bison is not at home off-road. It can take a mighty 600 points of damage, and has a large fuel tank able to carry 330L of fuel, so it will last any trip you need it to along tough roads.
Strengths: One of the more powerful vehicles in American Wilds, there's little that can stand in the Chevy Bison's way.
Weaknesses: Without access to the loader attachment, the Chevrolet Bison is at the mercy of vehicles able to load it. It will need a support team to be able to complete maps. Additionally, without AWD, the Bison isn't suitable for off-roading.

MudRunner - American Wilds releases on October 23rd on PC, PS4 and Xbox One, and comes to Nintendo Switch on November 27th!
Vehicle Description: A powerful road-hauler, the Ford LTL9000 is able to move loads like no vehicle before it. If you need to get your logs somewhere, and there's a path to take it, the LTL9000 is a great truck for the job, both fast and dependable.
Game Stats: With it's huge 330L fuel tank, and able to take 600 points of damage, the LTL9000 is a truck to be reckoned with, and more than able to hold it's own against other vehicles.
Strengths: With a large add-on complement, the LTL9000 is a vehicle you'll love to use moving large loads across long drives.
Weaknesses: A heavy vehicle, the LTL9000 struggles off-road, especially with large loads. You'll not be taking this one into the deep water.
Vehicle Presentation - Meet the Freightliner FLD 120!
American Wilds is a new DLC coming to MudRunner Fall, 2018! This large DLC will introduce brand new content to the game, including several new vehicles, two new maps and a whole new location - The United States of America!
Today, we're very excited to be talking to you about the Freightliner FLD 120!
Vehicle Description: A mighty vehicle, and utilitarian road-hauler, the Freightliner FLD 120 is one of the fastest trucks in MudRunner, able to get your loads where they need to be at a brisk pace.
Game Stats: While it is able to take 600 points of damage, and boasts a might 330L fuel tank, the FLD 120 isn't at t's best off-road. You'll be using this vehicle to master road hauling, and to take loads great distances on the asphalt.
Strengths: With one of the largest addon complements in American Wilds, and able to equip cranes, the Freightliner will more than fill the niche needed for log pick up.
Weaknesses: The Freightliner is one of the vehicles locked behind balance points, so you'll need to master maps before you'll be able to drive it. Not having any AWD, the Freightliner isn't suitable for off-roading.
