Vehicle Description: A powerful road-hauler, the Western Star 6900XD is able to move loads like no vehicle before it. If you need to get your logs somewhere, and there's a path to take it, the 6900XD is a great truck for the job, both fast and dependable.
Game Stats: Boasting a mighty 600 points of damage, you can afford to get reckless with the 6900XD off-road. Add the 330L fuel complement and you've got a strong off-road truck.
Strengths: The most adapted to off-roading in American Wilds, the 6900XD can more than hold its own off-road, and will be invaluable while hauling heavy loads in the mud.
Weaknesses: The 6900XD doesn't handle as handily as its counterparts on road.

Hello, and once again welcome to your monthly MudRunner Community Update!
We're getting closer and closer to the release of American Wilds next month on October 23rd on PS4, Xbox One and PC.
We're happy to announce today that MudRunner - American Wilds now has a date for its Nintendo Switch debut: November 27th!
Like the versions on other platforms, the Nintendo Switch version of MudRunner – American Wilds Edition will bring together the new expansion, the base game and all the DLC content released so far, for a total of over 30 vehicles, 60 add-ons, 10 sandbox maps, and 11 challenge maps.
In the lead up to these releases, we've begun showcasing different aspects of the game to you, so that you can see what's coming, and ask us any questions you may have about the content of the game.
Today's community update is going to go into what we've shown since then, and collect it into one place for your easy attention.
Vehicle Presentations
The first vehicle we showed off was the Hummer H1!

American Wilds is a new DLC coming to MudRunner Fall, 2018! This large DLC will introduce brand new content to the game, including several new vehicles, two new maps and a whole new location - The United States of America!
Today, we're very excited to be talking to you about the Chevrolet K5 Blazer!
Vehicle Description: Able to use four-wheel drive, and equipped with differential lock, the Chevy K5 Blazer is a powerful all-terrain vehicle. Able to pick up high speeds, the Blazer is able to zip around the map and scout out tricky routes very easily.
Game Stats: Able to take 300 points of damage, The K5 Blazer is able to take it's fair share of damage. Along with it's low fuel consumption and modest fuel tank, the Blazer is able to sustain itself for long scouting trips.
Strengths: At home on the roads, the Blazer is nimble and equipped to scout out new trailers as your starter point vehicle, making it your best choice for a point vehicle in the early game.
Weaknesses: While the K5 is self-sufficient enough for long scouting trips, it's smaller add-on complement means it won't be spending the whole game without support.

In the run-up to American Wild's release, we're bringing back Vehicle Presentations - we're very excited to show you the new vehicles coming to the game, and today, we'll be talking about Hummer H1!
Vehicle Description:
A four-wheel drive utility vehicle, the Hummer is a powerful off-road vehicle produced for consumer use. A large vehicle, the Hummer H1 is equipped with the ability to drive in all-wheel drive and take advantage of differential lock.
Game Stats:
The Hummer H1 has an 80 liter fuel capacity, and can take 300 points of damage, making it a very sturdy vehicle. If you're scouting, this is a vehicle that you'll be able to rely on. Speedy and agile, you'll be make your way around the map easily.
Strengths:
A speedy, nimble vehicle, The Hummer H1 is at home on the roads and in the mud. If you need to scout a new path, you can rely on this.
Weaknesses:
With a small add-on complement, the Hummer H1 isn't going to be the workhorse of your vehicle fleet.

MudRunner will also make its debut on Nintendo Switch later this year in November, along with all content released to date including American Wilds.
The American Wilds Expansion features a number of highly-requested additions, including 2 new sandbox maps inspired by the rough lands of Montana, North Dakota and Minnesota, new challenges to tackle, and seven of the most iconic US trucks from household brands including Hummer, Western Star and Chevrolet.
This means a total of over 30 vehicles, 60 add-ons, 10 sandbox maps and 11 challenge maps in the MudRunner – American Wilds Edition, which brings together the new expansion, base game and DLC content.
Overcome muddy terrain, raging rivers, and other obstacles that realistically react to the weight and movement of your vehicle, powered by the game's advanced physics engine. Armed with your map, compass, winch, and driving skills, go solo or join up to three others in the coop multiplayer. Download mods created by the passionate community for truck-loads of content and an ever-evolving MudRunner – American Wilds experience.
The American Wilds Expansion, as well as the American Wilds Edition that includes the base game and all of the previously released DLCs will release on October 23.
August Community Update - American Wilds!
Hello everyone, and welcome to August's community update!
This month has been a busy one for us, with Gamescom 2018 and some very interesting announcements for MudRunner in the future! We're very excited to have announced MudRunner 2, and you should expect more news about MudRunner 2 at What's Next in February, our yearly event.
Now, on to what you've been waiting for - MudRunner - American Wilds!
We're very excited to be able to unveil more officially American Wilds, which introduces seven iconic American vehicles, from brands such as Ford, Hummer and Chevrolet! This will take the total of vehicles in American Wilds up to over thirty, with the total game having 60 add-ons, ten sandbox maps and eleven challenge maps at launch too!
In American Wilds, you'll be exploring new terrain in the United States in two maps, Grizzly Creek and Mount Logmore, inspired by the rough environments found in Montana, North Dakota and Minnesota. You'll overcome muddy terrain, raging rviers and other obstacles with up to three players in multiplayer.
As with any other DLCs to MudRunner, we'll be doing vehicle presentations, map profiles and showing the addons that you can expect to be included with the vehicles. We look forwards to sharing these with you in the lead up to American Wilds!

July Community Update
Hello everybody!
Yes, it's that time again - time for the monthly community update, where we let you know what's going on in MudRunner behind the scenes.
Firstly, let's start with a thank you! MudRunner has sold over one million copies, and we're incredibly thankful to the community for helping us get to that breathtaking number. We wouldn't have gotten there without you!
Now, on to the meat and bones of this update.
This month, we'd like to tell you about the MudRunner USA expansion that we've been teasing for a little while.
So, to start - the name. MudRunner USA will actually be called American Wilds, and will be an expansion pack for MudRunner, and will be coming to PS4, Xbox One, PC and Nintendo Switch, at a to-be-announced date this fall.
American Wilds will come with many features that you have been asking for, including two new sandbox maps and licensed vehicles. We're not ready to announce what those vehicles are at this time, however, but we very much look forwards to introducing them to you!
Pricing wise, American Wilds will be available in two forms - you'll be able to buy it individually as an expansion pack, or as a full package with the original MudRunner, in the MudRunner - American Wilds edition. There will be more information about the pricing of this closer to release.
We don't have screenshots to show you of American Wilds at the moment, due to the fact that vehicles are still being worked on. Once we do have them, we'll show them to you here. We thank you for your patience with us on this.

The Ridge Out Now - May Community Update
Hello, and welcome once again to the MudRunner Community Update!
First things first, let's talk about The Ridge!
The Ridge is the latest DLC coming to MudRunner, and is totally free and out now on PC, PS4 and Xbox One!
In The Ridge, you will discover a brand new map, two new vehicles, and Scavenge game mode. This new game mode, unique to The Ridge (but able to be implemented by modders in their own maps) tasks players with needing to track down and recover logs from random "scavenge locations" around the map. These locations are randomly selected each time you start the map, and are spawns of single logs that must be recovered using a crane attachment!
The Ridge also introduces two new vehicles, the D-538 and the B-6A, which you can learn about in their vehicle presentations, here! The new DLC also introduces new vehicle add-ons with which to take on The Ridge's treacherous hills.

You may want to continue playing on the older version of MudRunner, so that your mods stay compatible. you use find the public branch ver_18_03_06 in your betas.
To access this, right-click MudRunner, click properties, and then betas. In the drop-down menu, select "ver_18_03_06". This will give you the ability to play on the previous version of MudRunner.
Community Update:
Now, onto what is coming in the future!
We're now continuing to work more fully on what is coming out in the next releases - which would be MudRunner USA and MudRunner Switch (both working titles). As such, it means that we won't have much new information to give in the next couple of months about what we're working on with MudRunner, aside from just repeating the same announcements each week.
As we move to working more fully on these two releases, we don't want the community updates to just say the same thing over and over - so the plan for future updates will be to showcase cool things from the community! To do this, we will begin showing off the best maps that we find, cool vehicle mods, and other interesting creative works made by you! Should you see anything, or make anything, that you're proud of, please send us a link to it, we'd love to see it too!

Announcing The Ridge Free DLC
Available on PC and consoles, MudRunner is releasing the free Ridge DLC on the 29th of May, a free content update that includes a new map, new vehicles, and new add-ons to explore and experiment with.
The Ridge is a coastal map split in half by a mountain ridge. Players will need to take a lot of care if they’re looking to cut time by travelling across the center.
In addition to a brand new map, two new vehicles are being introduced, the D-538, a heavy duty tractor, and the B-6A, a lightweight tractor. These two vehicles can be used on any map, provided you have enough progression points unlocked.
Completing The Ridge requires players to utilize a new type of delivery gameplay called Scavenging. Logs are now scattered across the map, and players will have to find them at various locations in the wild to complete deliveries and earn unlock points.
MudRunner offers incredible content and unique experiences - it's a genre of its own, reinventing the rules and offering new challenges for players looking for emergent encounters and true-to-life off-roading situations.
Dedicated players and driving enthusiasts will appreciate the hyper-realistic driving sensations thanks to an advanced physics engine, a differential transmission system, soft-tire simulation, as well as realistic interactions between vegetation, mud, water, and your vehicle.

April Community Update
Hello all!
It's time for another one of those regular Community Updates!
This time around, we're actually going to start off talking about something a little more immediate, and making an announcement!
We're happy to announce The Ridge, the second free DLC for MudRunner!
In The Ridge DLC, we'll be introducing a brand new map, two new vehicles, and, for the first time, a brand-new gameplay mode.
On The Ridge, you will find a towering mountain ridge that divides the map into two areas, and that is incredibly difficult to cross. This will be made trickier with the introduction of the two new vehicles, the D-538 and the B-6A. We will have more details on these vehicles in the future in individual vehicle profiles, but both vehicles will also introduce new add-ons to the game as well!
These new add-ons will help players tackle the difficult new game mode being introduced to The Ridge, Scavenge.
Scavenge mode, unique to The Ridge, is a mode where there are no log stations. This means that you won't be able to just collect logs and transport them. Instead, there are now random "scavenge locations". These locations are two or three locations that are randomly selected each time you start the map, and that spawn static logs which must be collected with a crane!
We don't currently have a specific planned release date for The Ridge, but we currently plan for a release date at the end of May. We will continue to add screenshots to this post as we have them to share with you.
As has become the norm for these community updates, I'll also let you know what the team are currently working on, and what to expect in the future.
We continue to work on MudRunner USA, and will have more information on this in the future, but we are currently looking into our options towards licensed vehicles for this.
We are hugely grateful to the dedicated and passionate modding community for helping us make MudRunner the best game it can be, but, for now, we're only exploring what options we have, no concrete plans to implement mods on consoles in the short run.
Lastly, the Nintendo Switch version of MudRunner is still in development, but we don't have much more to say about this currently.
