The ‘Logan Strikes Back!’ Update may be postponed until later this week due to ongoing issues with coronavirus in our area.
We are still under a covid-zero policy here in China, and several of our colleagues have been confined to their homes since mid-August, when the virus broke out in Chongqing (where our studio is located). Yesterday, the government announced that two new areas would be closed and locked down without prior notice. As a result, some key members of the Sandrock team are now on lockdown within their homes, affecting final key checks for the update.
So, unfortunately, tomorrow's scheduled update may have to be delayed.
We are actively trying to get our colleagues the tools to allow them to work remotely from home, but setting up that environment takes time. In any case, we expect the new version to go live later this week.
Apologies again to all players. We hope the pandemic ends soon and will do our best to get the update out to you as soon as possible.

Howdy bu,ilders,

We have added new side quests for some NPCs, and you'll be able to learn more about their pasts. With more storytelling, you will be able to uncover more about the lives of your fellow desert dwellers, such as Fang. It should be great to discover more secrets mined deep within Fang through more new side quests.
The social system has been updated, allowing you to choose your favorite in-town character, approach, play/date, and romance them (Eligible in-town characters are romanceable, except for Fang, but you can interact with Fang and gift him now). In the meantime, more townsfolk are now available to romance now, e.g. Unuusur and Catori. Though the marriage will be added to the game later this year, once you accumulate enough relationship points to be able to become engaged once you'll have the option to get married when that update arrives later this year.
Additionally, we have a new holiday in Sandrock. Do you remember which day Portia had the hotpot party? This holiday will be coming to Sandrock too! However, it will be different in a special Sandrock way! All we can say is the fire, food, and....sauces. Come and find out for yourself on Aug 30th.
