Myth of Empires - Greece Work Benches and Weapons Sneak Peek
Dear players,
We’ve shown off a lot of concept art from Myth of Empires’ upcoming Greece DLC, including armor sets of the wooden, steel, and meteoric iron tiers, as well as building designs. In today’s dev log, we’re going to show you some of the weapons that will be released with the DLC, as well as a new workstation.
The workstations in the Greece DLC not only have unique models, some of them even have expanded functionality; for instance, the previously-showcased furnace allows for players to carry out multiple smelting tasks at once, greatly increasing efficiency. Likewise, the Advanced Weapon Forge featured today can forge multiple weapons at once. This will not only allow for increased efficiency, it will also free up space, as players will not need to construct as many redundant workstations in their base.
The DLC will also feature a new way to subdue warriors: the Brazen Bull. According to historical records, this torture device, invented by Perilaus of Athens, was made of bronze and resembled a bull in both size and shape. Prisoners would be placed inside the hollow cavity in its center, then roasted alive as a form of punishment. In the Greece DLC, this cruel instrument has been faithfully recreated by our development team in form, though it differs slightly in function, being used to subdue NPCs rather than execute them outright.
Finally, here is a look at a couple of the weapons that will be appearing in the DLC: the Kopis one-handed sword and the light shield. The lightweight design of the Kopis sword increases the frequency of its attacks, while the notched design of the light shield enhances its effectiveness when used in combination with a spear or other one-handed weapons.
The Myth of Empires Greece DLC is expected to be released around July of this year. Players are welcome to share their ideas and feedback regarding future development content in our official communities and forums.

Compared to the relatively simple architectural style of most buildings already in the game, the Gilded series of building skins employs Nanmu wood and metal as the main materials, with gold ornamentation, bronze decorations, and other flourishes prominently featured. These skins will give your buildings an exquisite aesthetic appearance. This series includes over 20 items, including gates, walls, foundations, ceilings, pillars, doors, and more. All of the skins in this series are red quality.
The new mount equipment skins include both armor and saddles. This release includes the Warlord, Shadow, Golden Beast, and Soaring Dragon armor/saddle pairs. Their design is based on the appearances of several famous historical generals, including Guan Yu, Zhao Yun, Huang Zhong, and Sun Ce. Myth of Empires - Greece Meteoric Iron Armor and Furnace Sneak Peek
Since its V1.0 release, Myth of Empires has received enthusiastic attention from players like you worldwide. The recent release of the game’s Jade Era servers have also received attention, due to their more balanced server settings. Thank you for the support!
In today’s edition of our ongoing dev log series, we’re going to show off some of the content that will be debuting in the anticipated Greece DLC coming later this year, specifically the Meteoric Iron Armor sets, as well as a new furnace. Let’s dig in!
The Meteoric Iron Armor sets will appear in Myth of Empires as new crafting recipes. Building on the quintessential characteristics of the Greek civilization, we have performed our own higher-dimensional artistic treatment. The combination of materials used highlights the armor’s texture with a rich golden color, while the intricate and complexly detailed patterns bring it in line with the other top-quality armor sets featured in the game.
In addition, the Greece DLC will also feature a new furnace with a strong Greek style. As the primary structure used to process materials for various item recipes, the furnace plays an essential role in the game. In the Greece DLC, the Greek furnace has a more elaborate appearance, while still retaining the structure’s integral smelting function. It features rich color combinations, exquisite decorative patterns, a luxurious roof, and symbolic sculptures.

Myth of Empires - New Servers; Greece DLC Buildings Sneak Peek
The Myth of Empires Jade Era servers will be officially launched on April 19 at 17:00 UTC. The Jade Era servers are comprised of 6 prefectures, each consisting of 8 individual counties. The Jade Era servers feature settings tailored for new players. They only serve the North American and European regions, and are separate from the servers of other regions as well as the Classic Era and New Era servers. Jade Era servers only interact with other Jade Era servers.
Now, let’s take a look at some of the new content we’d like to show off in this dev log: the new structures that will make their debut in the upcoming Greece DLC for Myth of Empires.
The architectural style of ancient Greece was characterized by the use of durable materials such as marble, limestone, and bricks, which provided a noble and elegant texture. The use of columns was common, including both multi-column and single-column designs, with multi-column temples being particularly representative of ancient Greek architecture. The roofs were typically designed in a triangular shape, with gabled and pedimented roofs being common features in Greek architecture.
In addition, ancient Greek architecture emphasized symmetrical aesthetics in its overall structure. Decorative art consisted primarily of reliefs, murals, and carvings depicting mythological stories and historical events, reflecting the culture and beliefs of that era.
Therefore, in combining the characteristic style of ancient Greek architecture with the gameplay of Myth of Empires, the various architectural components have been broken down and strengthened, enhancing the different specifications of columnar structures while balancing their support function and decorative features. A new sloped design has been adopted for the roofs, which are flatter compared to the Eastern-style buildings already in the game. This, coupled with the use of colors and decorative art reminiscent of the ancient Greek style, allows players to construct buildings that are highly characteristic of that civilization.
Currently, the Greek building recipes are undergoing further design and development, and are expected to be released around July this year as part of the Greece DLC. Players are welcome to share their ideas and feedback regarding future development content in our official communities and forums.
