Myth of Empires V1.0 Extended Gameplay Trailer!
Hey everyone! We have been busy getting ready for the Myth of Empires V1.0 release on February 21, and we have a new trailer to share with you! This one’s three-and-a-half minutes long, so strap in!
Embark upon a new adventure on the free Dongzhou map
This trailer gives an exciting glimpse into the new Dongzhou map, which will be featured alongside the original map players experienced during Myth of Empires’ Early Access period. The new map is home to volcanoes, picturesque isles, sandy shores, ice floes, and bamboo forests. It also carries over the original map’s realistic day-night cycle, diverse ecosystems, and varied cultures of NPCs that have made the game such a hit among its devoted following.
Wage war by land, air, and sea
Myth of Empires V1.0 includes not only a large number of land-based vehicles of war such as siege wagons, ballistas, and catapults, it also adds gliders, giant sky lanterns, warships, and more. This opens up whole new domains to conquer and adds a wealth of new options to your burgeoning empire’s arsenal, but also makes combat more complex and challenging.
Myth of Empires’ unique system of administrative regions such as counties and commanderies gives the game an epic feel. Through cross-server battles and large-scale battlefields like County Battles, Prefecture Battles, and Fortress Battles, players expand their territory, hoping to etch their empire’s name in the annals of history. In the future, new Season Servers will be launched to provide an even richer variety and wealth of battlefields to the game.
Build your empire from the ground up
Myth of Empires features a variety of structures made of wood, clay, stone, and metal. These include more than ten types of structures that can be transformed to meet your design needs, such as foundations, walls, doors, windows, railings, pillars, roofs, and more. There are also different decorative items such as skins, lighting, and furniture to make you feel at home. Whether you want to build a modest farmhouse, a rustic town, or even a massive imperial city-state, Myth of Empires makes it possible.
1,300+ crafting recipes, with plenty of new additions
Myth of Empires has a wealth of crafting recipes, covering everything from structures, tools, work benches, equipment, and weapons, to taming implements and culinary instruments. V1.0 features new animal-powered, semi-automated production and warfare equipment. These new tools will further enhance your productivity and play a critical role in warfare. Use the animal-powered raft to travel rivers, sail warships to siege your enemies from the sea, soar through the air on giant sky lanterns, and wreak havoc with new ballistas. Additional new recipes will be coming in the future.
A menagerie of tameable beasts
Taming has always been one of the key features of Myth of Empires. In V1.0, animals now have new attributes that can be inherited and strengthened through breeding. In addition, Beast Lords can also be tamed to enhance your abilities in combat. Nearly all of the creatures in the world of Myth of Empires can be tamed to fight alongside you in battle, for transport, or to help you with resource collection and production.
More PVE gameplay
V1.0 enriches the game’s PVE content with classic musical instruments including the pan flute, guqin, and more, as well as servants who can dance for you. There are also plenty of new decorative items to adorn your palaces with. You can also simulate massive battles with new PVE siege training and bandit raids, or engage in sportsmanlike horse races with your friends.
New personal server modes and regional servers
In addition to official servers, Myth of Empires V1.0 also includes five personal server modes. These include solo mode, LAN, and online servers, featuring single servers and even server clusters. Players will be able to enjoy the game however they want. In addition to the Asian, North American, and European servers available in the Early Access version of the game, we are also adding official servers in the Oceania and South America regions, bringing everyone a smooth gaming experience.
A robust mod editor
Myth of Empires V1.0 features a mod editor. The possibilities are now endless! All modders are welcome.
Future development plans
New civilizations are coming! The end of the trailer hints at Persian, Greek, and Egyptian civilizations coming to Myth of Empires, with all of the new structures, weapons, tools, and equipment that entails. It’s never been a better time to be a fan of Myth of Empires!
Myth of Empires V1.0 - Account Migration and New Taming Ground Structure
The Myth of Empires V1.0 Playtest has come to an end. Thank you to everyone who participated! In preparation for V1.0’s official release, we will begin migrating accounts from the International Vanguard Edition of the game starting February 1 at 06:00 UTC. Details and instructions can be found here: https://transfer.mythofempires.com.
Players who have activated or purchased the International Vanguard Edition of the game can simply follow the instructions at the link above to migrate their account to the V1.0 Steam version of the game. Once your account has been migrated, you will not need to purchase Myth of Empires V1.0, and all of your account data from the International Vanguard Edition will carry over. Any skins you own will automatically be migrated to your Steam Inventory as well, without affecting normal in-game use. Due to changes in the rules for using skins, when you have multiple bound skins of the same part, only one will remain bound after the transfer. The others will be unbound, and can then be traded on the Steam Community Market.
During the account migration period, the Gold Token Trading Post will be closed and you will not be able to log in to the store to purchase skins. We highly recommend owners of the International Vanguard Edition finish migrating their accounts before the V1.0 release.
As part of today’s announcement, we also have some new content to show you:
Taming Ground
At the Taming Ground, players can feed Beast Lords for a chance at boosting their Life Force and stats. There is also a chance to acquire some of the Beast Lord’s skills. The Taming Ground can be unlocked through the Guild tech tree.
Royal Carriage
A large, luxuriously-decorated horse-drawn carriage. A must have for traveling nobles and warriors of means.
In addition, we have added or optimized the following content:
1. Enhanced Breeding. Mounts that have been bred can undergo enhanced breeding to get new mount skills. 2. New Animal Skill Attributes. New skill attributes have been added increasing the ability of animals trained at animal pens to power and pull vehicles. 3. Guild Mound Farms. Divided into normal and advanced types, these farms allow players to freely plant crops. You can also use guild skills to increase the maximum yield of these farms. 4. Siege Instances. A new teleportation stele has been added to the Guild Tech tree that teleports players to instances in which they can practice siege battles. Within these instances, players can place artillery around a fortress and defend against NPC sieges. 5. New Stability Attribute. Players can forge armor to give it Stability. Stability will be deducted when repairing, but it allows the armor to be more perfectly repaired (preventing the reduction of its Durability limit). An armor’s Durability limit will be affected by repairs once it has insufficient Stability. 6. Food Boxes. Food Box recipes have been added. Large amounts of food can be placed inside these boxes, which can then be sold on the market.
The development team will continue answering frequently asked questions in future v1.0 content announcements.
Myth of Empires Version 1.0 is scheduled to release on February 21, 2024. In the meantime, we will continue to release new gameplay and content reveals. If you have any suggestions or feedback, feel free to reach out to us on official channels. Please also wishlist the game on Steam and join our official Discord server to stay up-to-date with all the latest Myth of Empires news.

1. Purchased the game via the official website. 2. If you already purchased the game via Steam, then you do not have to do the account transfer. Server adjustment regarding the account transfer:
1. From 22:00 Feb 1 to full release, we will close the Gold Token Trading Post temporarily. ( All items in the market will be taken down automatically) 2. Warships Take Sail in Myth of Empires V1.0!
With the Myth of Empires V1.0 Playtest underway, players are experiencing the Dongzhou map as well as MoE’s new gameplay for the first time. Meanwhile, the developers are hard at work on even more content, which will debut with V1.0 and subsequent updates.
Warship
The Raft vehicle that we previously announced is key for traversing the waters of the Dongzhou map. However, the Raft does not have the space to accommodate all of the offensive and defensive structures required to wage war - this is where the Warship shines. More room on the deck makes this vehicle a brutally effective combat tool. It uses large animals for power, which greatly reduces the manpower cost required for travel. Proper use of this vehicle will make you an overlord of the seas.
Large War Wagon
This is the largest ground vehicle in MoE to date, and also one of the most versatile. Not only can this massive tank carry multiple players or NPCs, it can also be outfitted with a variety of different tools, such as battering rams, harvesters, and mining equipment. Its flanks can also be equipped with scythes to ward off pesky would-be attackers.
Palanquin
A vehicle carried by NPC humans that can be ridden by players or recruited warriors. It has no value in combat, but can make for a fun little addition to PVE gameplay.
In addition, we have added or optimized the following content:
Storage Chest Trap. While this structure looks like a normal Storage Chest, it cannot actually hold any items, because it has a far more nefarious purpose: destroying this structure will unleash damage effects such as explosions, poisonous gas, and more to enemies within range.
Martial Skills. Weapons can obtain new skills called Martial Skills from forging attributes. You will be able to accumulate Rage while in combat. When your Rage reaches a certain level, you will be able to use a Martial Skill.
Mount Skills. You will have a chance to get active skills for mounts from Advanced Breeding. You will then be able to use these skills while on that mount.
Vigilante Challenge Instances. Fight off multiple waves of NPC attacks and compete on server-wide challenge rankings. Points gained from killing NPCs can be used to purchase better weapons and equipment to use in the next wave.
Racing Mode. A new racing mode and a Racing Points Shop have been added to the game.
6. Item Reclamation. A new reclamation function has been added to Guild Warehouses. You can use this function to reclaim items that have been deleted by the system (within 7 days).
The development team will continue answering frequently asked questions in future v1.0 content announcements.

Myth of Empires V1.0 Upcoming Playtest and New Content!
Greetings, Warriors!
As previously announced, Myth of Empires V1.0 will be released on February 21, 2024. In the lead up to release, we will be holding a Steam Playtest starting on January 23 and lasting for 7 days. This test will feature 18 servers covering the Asian, European, and North American regions. When the test is live, interested players will be able to click the “Request Access” button on the Myth of Empires Steam store page to apply for the test.
Now, we’d like to share even more content that is coming to the game at the V1.0 release:
Mechanical Crate
This is a new type of storage crate that can only store one type of item, albeit in much greater quantities than other storage crates.
Scythe Wagon
The scythe wagon is a combat vehicle powered by horses. It is composed of four parts: the main body, the spinning blades at the front of the vehicle, the blades at the back of the vehicle, and the blades upon the two wheels. Like a porcupine, this vehicle can shed blood in any direction it wishes. Unlike a porcupine, it is relatively quick and agile. Of course, such a vehicle is bound to see lots of action and require a little maintenance from time-to-time.
Climbing Claws
Central to a new mechanic making its debut in V1.0, these claws can be used to scale steep walls and cliffs. They not only give the game a certain degree of verticality, they also give players a good way to keep a watchful eye on their surroundings.
Here are answers to some of the questions we’ve seen raised in our communities recently:
More Details on Private Servers - In addition to the official servers, Myth of Empires V1.0 includes 5 different private server modes. Solo/Hosted Mode includes solo, LAN, and internet servers. Custom servers support both single-server and server cluster modes. Check out the table below to see more details on the differences between the different server modes. Instructions on setting up these servers will be posted at some point before the V1.0 release.
Reworked Horse Breeding - We have optimized various mutation stats that appear when breeding horses, making the system more balanced overall.
Hand-held Illumination - We have added a variety of new handheld lanterns to the game that will help you find your way in dark areas and at night.
Random Equipment Stat Bonuses - Through forging, equipment can obtain random bonus attributes that will help you on your adventure
Equipment Signatures - You will be able to sign equipment you make. This signature will include your server info, guild, and character’s name, giving the equipment you worked so hard to craft just a little bit of a personal touch.
Ice Walls - In cold regions, players can pour water on their fortress walls to make them icy, which will make them more difficult for enemies to climb.
New Character Appearances - Additional appearance presets have been added with different skin colors and styles.
The development team will continue answering frequently asked questions in future v1.0 content announcements.

Myth of Empires V1.0 New Automated Defenses!
Over the past couple of weeks, we’ve shown off some of the air and sea vehicles that will be available when Myth of Empires V1.0 releases in February. Today, we’d like to show off some of the new automated defenses that will be appearing in the game. These defenses are mainly powered by animals, and can assist with defending your fortress or, in some cases, with small-scale operations.
Chain Ballista
This heavy-duty automatic ballista fires giant chain-type bolts that unfold into large, rotating umbrellas that can intercept incoming projectiles. These ballistas can be powered by pigs, wolves, leopards, or tigers placed into its power cages.
Toxic Ballista
This relatively small ballista fires poisoned bolts. The poison on these bolts slows enemy targets and can even inflict continuous damage. These ballistas can be placed like normal defenses, or even hung upside down from ceilings or the platforms of Giant Sky Lanterns, and are powered by rabbits and foxes placed into their power cages.
Auto Flamethrower
This small automated defense unleashes infernal fury upon any enemy that gets too close. Power it up by placing a rabbit or fox into its power cage.
In addition, we also have some answers for some of the community’s frequently asked questions:
Steam inventory items. The game’s various cosmetic items that players can purchase will be automatically converted into Steam inventory items. So long as the cosmetic item has not been used, it will be tradeable on the Steam Community Market. Cosmetic items can be used on the Classic Era servers, New Era servers, season servers, private servers, and in solo mode.
Crate drops. Accumulate a certain amount of time in-game to get free skin crates. Unused skins will be tradeable on the Steam Community Market.
Convert warriors into servants. Players will be able to convert their unused warriors into servants. This operation is irreversible. These servants will not be able to assist in combat or production and are decorative only. They can equip your clothes, weapons, and skins as well as use your interactive animations. In the initial stages, each player may have up to 30 servants, though this number may be adjusted later on depending on game performance.
Warriors now help collect resources. Players will be able to earn Fame with the game’s various factions (for example, Pirates) through stronghold battles. Once their Fame reaches a certain level, they will unlock that faction’s resource points. Additional Fame earned beyond that will increase the level of those resource points. Players will then be able to dispatch their warriors on quests to collect resources from those faction resource points. After some time, the warriors will return with those resources. There are currently six major factions in the game, and the resource points of each one have different difficulties and outputs.
New inherited animal skills. New inherited skills have been added to the animal breeding system. In addition to affecting the amount of resources collected from animal pens, these skills can affect how much power an animal generates when put into a structure’s power cage.
Improved boss AI. Human NPC bosses and beast lords now have improved skills and behavioral AI. This is a long-term effort which will be further improved in subsequent updates.
The development team will continue answering frequently asked questions in future v1.0 content announcements.

Myth of Empires V1.0 New Aerial Vehicles and Gameplay Changes!
First of all, the Myth of Empires development team would like to wish everyone a Happy New Year!
We recently debuted the “Raft” vehicle that will be sailing into the world of Myth of Empires in the Version 1.0 release. Today, we are going to focus on something entirely new to MoE: flight!
Let’s start with the Giant Sky Lantern. This vehicle will allow players to move through the air, and also provides some defensive and offensive capabilities. Players will be able to place small pieces of furniture and even small ballistas on the platform beneath the lantern. The Giant Sky Lantern works like a hot air balloon, with lift provided by a flame on the central platform. It can also move forward and turn with the help of a power cage. To use the Giant Sky Lantern, simply place a tamed fox or rabbit within the power cage, and make sure they are well-fed.
The Giant Sky Lantern, along with the recently-announced Raft, are but two of the new vehicles offered in Version 1.0 that players will have at their disposal to traverse the ever-expanding world of Myth of Empires. Later, larger upgraded vehicles will be added to meet more comprehensive construction needs.
Next up, we have the Kite Launcher. True to its name, it is a large ballista that launches kites. These kites are different from the gliders we showed off in the Version 1.0 trailer. While gliders allow players to control their flight, these kites cannot change direction. Yet they also have their advantages. For instance, it is much easier to take flight using a kite launcher as opposed to a glider. Their flight distance can also be increased by launching them from greater heights. Kites can be equipped with a small number of items and then launched unmanned to achieve basic supply delivery objectives, or players can hang from them to move around the map more quickly. Players will also be able to launch arrows from the kite, as well as disengage from it mid-flight and descend to the ground using their own gliders, making them great for sneak attacks and reconnaissance.
Together, the Giant Sky Lantern, Kite Launcher, and hang glider mark a new era in Myth of Empires, one in which players will take to the skies to expand their dominance.
In addition, we’d also like to answer some of the questions that players have been asking us about Version 1.0.
1. Server interoperability. Myth of Empires Version 1.0 will have two server groups: Classic Era Servers and New Era Servers. Classic Era Servers cover servers that already exist. The data on these will not be deleted. Servers with the new map will be added to this server group, and will be interoperable with the old servers. New Era Servers will feature all brand-new servers featuring the old map, as well as new servers featuring the new map, which will be interoperable with one another. Classic Era Servers and New Era Servers are not interoperable (see the figure below). These changes will all be implemented upon the Version 1.0 release.
2. Counties and Prefectures. After the servers are adjusted, the number of counties in a single prefecture will be expanded from the original 16. 3. Proficiency. Players will be able to accumulate reserve Proficiency EXP from the game lobby. 4. Guild Adjustments. Guild member limits, alliance limits, and the number of counties conquerable by a single guild have all been adjusted. 5. New Ways to Collect Resources. New structures similar to the “Mining Hut” will be released to cover even more types of resources. 6. “PVP Areas” Within PVE Servers. Resource points in the main world have been restored, and PVP areas delineated. 7. Smoother Leveling. The effects of titles and proficiencies on a player’s combat power have been optimized to make leveling progress smoother.
The development team will continue answering frequently asked questions in future v1.0 content announcements.
