This update fixes a really annoying bug though, where completing the C Rank wouldn't actually allow you access into the B Rank shops. Go into the Arena area if you've completed the C Rank to fix the issue.
ADDITIONS:

Febuary 20th Update
Hey Challengers, welcome back to Mythic Victory Arena! It's Resi here with another intriguing update to keep your interests in the Arena at peak performance.
What's all that Press 1 and Press 2? Amazing, is what they are. Read about it below.
Menus Redone
I was constantly aware of the bog that the menus were previously, being text on a screen that was not appealing. They were placeholders until I got enough in my budget to cough up said budget and put it into some actual effort. These handcrafted icons created by Rexard (Go support their creations here - https://www.gamedevmarket.net/member/Rexard/ ) fit well into Mythic Victory Arena and should really make it easier for you to navigate the menus.
But that's not all! Take a look and see for yourself.
Woah! That's a lot of information. What does it all mean? It means you can now play Mythic Victory Arena solely with a keyboard. The mouse-only design isn't very efficient for some players and I found this to be the most effective solution. Each Icon has accompanying text with a specific character colored in Green. If you press the corresponding key on your keyboard to that of the Green colored character, you'll be able to access the menu of that Green character. Try it out when you get back in the game!
More Weapons!
As you continue to grow and progress through the arena, you'll start taking more names and gaining more EXP than you know. You'll hit level 20 and beyond without much thought towards it. What about more weapons for reaching these milestones? To kick it off, Leora, Derack, and Denira all gain new weapons once they hit Level 20 and beyond. Leora gets a second one too at level 25.
A Katana for Derack. A Shotgun and Rifle for Leora. A Flail for Denira. These weapons each come with 4 new learnable skills which you can purchase from the Skills Shop.
Unlocking these weapons in game will also unlock the corresponding achievement, for all you achievement hunters out there.
Statuses!
Many Status have been given their own animations that play once a battler has been inflicted with that status. You'll see it the most with the Death and the Guard status. The more common ones you'll notice are Bleeding, Wet, Stun, and Burned. It should help make the Arena feel more visceral.

Skills Hot Fix - February 8th, 2018
Hey there Champions!
Just posting this to let you know Skills were given a hotfix to rectify a few issues with some skill executions and to introduce a new feature to Skill Learn.
You no longer can purchase old skills from the Skill Shop.
January 29th Update

Hospital UNLEASHED
The older iteration of the Hospital didn't have much thought into how it worked and how well it worked out. This is a step to improve previous design and moving forward it will be adjusted to a finer setting. For now, it it as shown.
You can receive instant heals for a set amount of your Arena Coins based on the Rank you currently are.
You can also purchase up to 10 Battle Recoveries which instantly fully recover you after a battle. If you have the Pro Mode option disabled, you will be able to have control over when you decide to Recover.
Battle Recoveries appear on the screen so you know how many you have left.
S Rank UNLOCKED
Probably the most brutal Rank released yet, the S Rank will teach you just how broken Mythic Victory Arena is. Be sure you grinded wins in the other ranks and received some of the best Set Items you can find to get a real upper hand in this rank. 50 Battles of unending pain and suffering.
Also, one new addition to battles is that each character currently in battle will have their level shown in their respective HUD.

Miabun has released an updated version of Leora from her old works. Check it out!
Other Additions
Potions and Elixirs now have Skill Unleash modifiers, which double the amount of HP you can receive from a Potion if you get a Skill Unleash! (Yes, I know Items aren't skills, fight me.)
The value Potions and Elixirs damage creatures of Darkness has been lowered and in the future will have their own unique formulas instead of set damage.

November 29th, 2017 Update
Welcome back to the fight, challengers! Today's update brings in new and interesting additions and some changes that were desperately needed to keep Mythic Victory Arena fresh and unique.
New DLC! Unlock All Skills
Launching alongside this update is a new DLC, which when you purchase it, unlocks all skills for each character that they can normally unlock through leveling up. This grants you more opportunity to gain EXP or Arena Coin when you level up. In the future, I'll add extra Level Up Rewards to make up for the current lack of options.

Action Enhancer Buff!
The Action Enhancer item now has a little extra detail; it increases your Skill Unleash chance. It shows a percentage based chance, but the math is as follows. By default, you have a 1 in 16 chance to activate Skill Unleash! When you stimulate yourself with an Action Enhancer, the chance to activate Skill Unleash! becomes 1 in 5. Take advantage of this when it comes to what you're about to read next.
Basic Attack UNLEASHED
All basic attacks that each character can perform now have Skill Unleash! sequences unique to each weapon. As development continues, a more up-to-date trailer will be posted to the Steam Store and announced for you to fawn over. Take advantage of using Action Enhancers to have better odds at the Skill Unleash!
Who's Next?
As it stood before, during your first time play through, you likely weren't sure of what enemy you were about to face. And while it may not be helpful during a first time play through, it's good information to have regardless. Before you enter into an Arena Fight, you will be shown which enemy you are going up against. This way, you don't have to worry about what enemy is gonna be giving you a hard time as you enter.

Damage text has been changed to include a lot more information of what's going on in battle. Take a look below and see for yourself.
Other Additions
As an additional bonus to using Solo Mode! you are granted a 50% increase in your Maximum HP and Maximum MP. This may be lowered in the future.
Felia may now unlock the Trident when she is level 10 or above. The Trident is weaker than the Spear, cuts your luck by 30%, but gives you an increased chance to Critical Hit. These are fair trade-offs for shoving a Water-based weapon into a Fire-based character's hands. Felia will make good work with the Trident regardless, but she won't accept you for making her use it.

October 26th, 2017 Update - Massive Content Update
Oh boy, this one's a doozy. Strap in Challengers and Champions, the ride is long and I can't talk about this update enough. When I say massive, I mean massive.
This update is so massive in fact, I highly recommend you start up a new file. Not like that matters though, as there was a bug that prevented you from progressing past the F Rank. That's been fixed, by the way.
Okay, let's jump into the thick of it.
Skills, Enemies, and More!!
To put this briefly - as best as I can - Each and every Skill in the game has been changed, updated, and re-created to be better than what they once were. The same goes for Enemies.
Skills have more unique Action Sequences.
Enemies have more unique selection in how they battle.
You have more options now as a player.

Solo Mode!
Solo Mode is a new addition to Mythic Victory Arena. Instead of having someone fight alongside you in the Arena, you can go in alone and receive a power bonus for fighting by yourself. The Champion can explain it for you here.
New Art! New Music!
Miabun has been hard at work creating character art for the game and hard at work with her schooling. Felia is here with her glorious Absolute Territory and Jackassery. Ralph and Denira also saw a visual update. More to come in the future.
New music has been added to Mythic Victory Arena thanks to Anttis Instrumentals and their repository of tracks. More will be added in the future as the game nears completion.
A Brand New World!
With this update, you can now explore the Island of Terani and the Arena. Alongside them are new menus, which have been added to every shop as well, for your ease of access when playing the game.
A Brand New Information Hud!
When you beat an Arena Fight you get Arena Coin for your hard work. That information is shown in a clean style at the end of battle now, instead of in a text box.

✪ Some skills have been removed from the game. You will be rewarded an amount of gold equal to the number of skills removed from each character that had these skills.

✪ All skills now have a 1/16 chance to do bonus damage (or bonus healing!). This is not the same as a critical hit
✪ All skills have new animations and action sequences.
✪ All skills now have more streamlined information. Information regarding status informations has been moved to the manual. There's A LOT of statuses

✪ Wild Swings now hits multiple times and recoil is 3% of Ralph's maxHp per successful hit
✪ Shine Smash now hits twice and can only inflict Blind now
✪ Boast's status now lasts 3 turns instead of 5
✪ Enrage can now target allies instead of being user only
✪ Heroic Shout increases HP Regeneration by 10% instead of increasing Maximum HP
✪ Hack Apart's damage formula has been modified to scale more fairly. It also hits 4 times now
✪ Whirlwind now hits 7 times
✪ Splinter now hits twice and its Warmups and Cooldowns have been adjusted
✪ Berserk's buff no longer increases Defense and the Attack increase has been lowered
✪ Bloodbath now hits multiple times and for each successful hit will only heal 5% of maximum HP
✪ Changes to Drel's Skills:
✪ Drel's basic magic now has a 2 turn cooldown.
✪ Drel's unlock skills have had their cooldowns raised, due to their power level.
✪ Ignite now hits 5 times and ignite has been changed to a state that deals increasing damage over time and lowers the user's resistance to fire by 100%
✪ Evocation now inflicts a state that grants increasing MP Regeneration over 5 turns
✪ Force of Will now hits 3 times
✪ Meteor Strike's damage has been lowered and now hits multiple times
✪ Changes to Leora's Skills:
✪ Power Shot is now a Ranged Heavy element, meaning it will do extra damage to enemies weak to ranged attacks
✪ Barrage now hits all enemies multiple times and is a Ranged element
✪ Dash can now target allies
✪ Explosive Arrow's secondary effect (the explosion) now has its own damage formula. If the arrow is evaded or misses the secondary effect will never happen.
✪ Grappling Bolt now hits multiple times
✪ Slow Bolt chance to inflict sluggish has been replaced with a chance to inflict slow
✪ Patience Shift can now target allies
✪ Changes to Derack's Skills:
✪ Slice n' Dice is no longer a Certain Hit skill
✪ Bide Power state lasts only 2 turns now instead of 3
✪ Parley has 90% accuracy now
✪ Saber Slash's damage has been lowered
✪ Changes to Felia's Skills:
✪ Spear Barrage now hits multiple times
✪ Sweep now hits twice
✪ Breathe Fire is now a Magical Attack and hits multiple times
✪ Shared Pain is now a Magical Attack
✪ True Strength can now target any enemy, but does more damage to enemies with 150 or more Attack
✪ Changes to Borrel's Skills:
✪ Flurry of Punches now hits multiple times
✪ Meditate's cooldown is now 5 turns
✪ Consecutive CQC is now a Physiscal Attack and can crit. It also hits multiple times
✪ Revitalize now heals Borrel alongside its revive effect, however it may still only be used if there is a dead ally to target
✪ Blackout now hits multiple times and no longer has a chance to inflict blindness. Instead, if Borrel is blind, the skill deals more damage
✪ Rest has been renamed to Deep Meditation
✪ Disable now hits multiple times
✪ Fists of Life now hits multiple times
✪ Puncture's infliction status has been lowered
✪ Bloodletting is now 70% accurate

Status of Next Update
Hey challengers, champions, and even the spectators in the crowd! It's Resi and I feel like I should talk about the progress of the next update.
It really looks like I was working non-stop on the project and pushing out an update every week or so because I had plenty of content to bring forth and now it seems like it has declined, as it has been almost 2 months without an update. There is a good reason for that, and I'll tease everything here, as it still isn't finished and won't be for another month or 2 again.
Skills Revamped
Inspired by another creator, I decided to revamp how skills functioned and give them the depth they so badly required to make Mythic Victory Arena more interesting. I won't explain how everything works just yet (wait for the update!) but here is a video of it in action.

You can see there are a lot of kinks to work out. Also, see that weird sequence on Rundown? That has a 6% chance of happening. Almost every skill has these rare 6% sequences.
Skills will look more interesting in the upcoming update. They will also read more legibly to the average player. Here's what I mean:
Battle Hud
If you watched the youtube video, you can see something nice. The battle hud has been updated. The turn order window is vertical and the battler information doesn't take up a majority of the screen, allowing for you to see more things happening in battle.
Re-described
Every item in the game has been given new descriptions to give them polish and to make it easier for players to know what their items, skills, armors, weapons are doing.
Updated Art
The artist, Miabun, has been hard at work updating her older character art creations into characters that fit her new style, which she has shown through Molly and Felia. Once all the characters are updated, Steam Trading Cards will be added.There are still four more to complete.

New Menus
Thanks to the input of fungho, who really opened my mind in how I present the game, the upcoming update will feature an upgraded menu scheme. You will be seeing less square menus in the middle of the screen and will instead be greeted with an overworld and more. It's still a work in progress, but here's how it looks so far.
Anyway, that should be it for now. I should get back to working hard on the huge list of tasks I have so you can experience these changes for yourself!
July 17th Update
Challengers and Champions, I am glad to present to you a wonderful update to Mythic Victory Arena!
Molly!
The art for Molly the Battlemage has been completed by Miabun. This teenage witch will blow your socks off with her powerful witchcraft and magic. Also, she uses swords!
A Rank Unlocked! New Enemy Art
The A rank has been completed for you to play through and beat. It gets very tough up in the mountains, I hope you brought your best skills with you.
Enemy art has been updated to use graphics created by Ækashics ( http://www.akashics.moe/ ). This should help the game feel a little less dull in terms of how the enemies appear, for now.
Battle Clear! Reward!
At the end of each battle you'd receive some text boxes to let you know how much AC you were rewarded in each fight. That's been changed to show it on the screen instead. Just click and it'll continue then go away when you're done checking out how much you made.
In the future, all other notifications will be added to this end of battle screen.
Skill Changes
A few adjustments to skills have been made that are important to note. Various powerful skills have had their TP costs increased to match their power. In the future they will be scaled back to more reasonable levels with adjustments in their power. This isn't to say I'm nerfing the hell of them, just making not as powerful.
The other change is that skills that have secondary effects (such as Ralph's Rundown which heals you after dealing a successful to the enemy) will only have their secondary effect happen if the skill doesn't miss or isn't evaded.

What's Next?
Some of the changes I bring to Mythic Victory Arena take a while to create and updates aren't as frequent as like, or progress moving forward isn't where I quite want it. I'm always hard at work attempting to push the game forward into a state that is fun to play for you as the player. With each new addition and each change I bring about more issues, but more depth. I am reaching the milestones and goals I set for myself so the game can continue to grow. I'm happy that I am reaching the goals I make regardless of the time it takes.
So, anyway, here's what is next.
I'll be re-creating a lot of the skill action sequences from the ground up while adding new animations in the next update. After that, I'll move on to creating the S Rank and beyond.
