Now Available: The Arena mode, Mac and Linux versions
Hi Fox Riders,
When we released the game, some of you were missing the Arena mode we had in our previous typing game, Epistory. For that reason, we worked on adding this mode to Nanotale. You can now enter an infinite battle mode and enjoy smashing your keyboard to defeat the enemies coming at you.
As we wanted Nanotale to be different from Epistory, we also added a new twist to the Arena mode, giving you a lot of random waves but also objectives to maximize your score.
The Arena mode is coming with three arenas: Desert, Forest, Caves. You can already have access to the Desert. The Caves and the Forest will follow week by week.
Mac and Linux versions
We are also releasing the Mac and Linux versions of Nanotale. These versions may still need a few fixes and tweaks, so don’t hesitate to report any bug you find on our Discord, or on the community discussions. Thank you for being part of the adventure!
Addition to the main game
Help Markers: Question mark on the map indicating where to go when you are lost.
Highlights in dialogues: Important parts of the dialogues you could miss if you read too fast.
Fixes
Player Controller: A rework on the player controller that should fix almost all collision issues.
Infinite enemies spawning in the desert battle
Can't turn pages in the profile page

Map improvements, new language, mini-map and more
Hi Fox Riders,
We listened to your feedback, and here's an updated version of the map that will help you to better find your way in Nanotale. Now there are icons for blocker and interactable elements from gameplay. The main quest is also displayed in gold instead of the blue used for secondary quests.We also added a mini map pressing tab and an Hungarian version of the game.
Here's a list of new fixes and improvements.
Additions:
Hungarian version
Mini-map (localization will come during the week)
Improvements:
The Boverus enemy now destroys the "fulgurite" (coral kind of structure you make with electricity and sand)
Map icons showing blockers and interactable elements
Different colors for main and secondary quests
Lore icons are now still visible when you zoom out

Snapping on the map
Push spell sometimes push enemies to Rosalind

To accompany our v1.0 Launch, we're pleased to release the complete Original Soundtrack, featuring 15 tracks of stunning music created for the game by Narrative Noise. ːgarnieː
We are still waiting for the validation from Steam, so the soundtrack is not available right now. But it should be within maximum 2 days.
To celebrate the release of our second typing game, Steam allowed us (during two weeks) to offer our first typing game, Epistory, to all the people who own Nanotale. Players who already own Epistory will be granted with an extra copy of it they can gift to anyone. ːgummiesː
This is not the last time you hear from us! Releasing Nanotale V1.0 doesn't mean that we will disappear and stop communicating with you Fox Riders. We'll be monitoring this launch closely to ensure it's as problem-free as possible for all players. So, don't hesitate to tell us if you encounter any issues. Once we're sure things are in a good spot, our small team will be taking a break to recharge, and plan what's next ːsleepysheepː. We can't wait to start a new fresh production and share it with you.
