Hi Fox Riders,
We are super happy to announce you that the game will be out in two weeks! The release is planned for March 31st 2021.
We have listened to the community in the Early Access and are now proud to release the full version with improved performance, breathtaking cinematics and voice-overs, and new powers and biome to discover!

Weekly Update #92: New logo and 53 bugs left
Hi Fox Riders,
I caught a cold and I auto-quarantine myself. But we are not here to talk about me, right?
We have a new logo! The game is feature complete, which means that everything we add now is part of the "nice to have" list (I think I already said that earlier ːepiwtfː). So, we are continuing to work on that magical list. The logo was part of that list, since the previous one was not super visible on small format. Here's the new one and the new animation for it ːepiloveː
About the BETA
The closed BETA of the desert is going well. The BETA testers reported less bugs than expected. So, we have now a total of 53 bugs to fix for release. These bugs will be the main focus during the coming weeks.
Next step
As I told you before, the game release as been delayed a lot due to the fact that we have to release the Steam version at the same time as the STADIA version. The good news is that the STADIA version is going well. I am now waiting for the ratings (USK, ESRB, and PEGI) to come back to us. We are getting closer to that release, don't we?
This week we'll also work on adding the localized achievements, badges, emotes, and cards to Steam, so you will soon be able to use them.
That's it for today. Thank you for reading.
Cheers, -VirginRedemption
Weekly Update #90: Menu and close BETA update
Hello Fox Riders,
Here's an update of the list of tasks that need to be done for the closed BETA of the desert:
Sound design on ending cinematic (because we can't let you finish the game without a nice ending).
Update save file system to make sure that your saves will work with the improvements made on the previous biomes.
Get the Chinese translation from our published and integrate it.
Some bug fixes and tweaks.
A side task, that is more for the final release of the game, was to improve to menu according to your feedback. Now, you can find a list of the updates and knowledges your unlock in the game.
Thank you for reading. Let's hope that next week update will be for announcing the close BETA ːepisweatː

Weekly Update #89: News about closed BETA
Hi Fox Riders,
Last week again, we were working on having the closed BETA of the desert ready but not only. Most of our programmers have been super busy on the STADIA porting, since the final release of the game depends on that porting (we have to release on both STADIA and Steam at the same time). So, finishing the desert takes a bit more time than expected. I don't think that the desert will be accessible in January but we aim for the first week of February. Here's what still need to be finished for the closed BETA:
Sound design on ending cinematic (because we can't let you finish the game without a nice ending).
Update save file system to make sure that your saves will work with the improvements made on the previous biomes.
Get the Chinese translation from our published and integrate it.
Some bug fixes and tweaks.
Thank you for reading. Have a great week.
Cheers, -VirginRedemption
Weekly Update #88: Game ending and GDWC
Hi Fox Riders,
I am really sorry for the late weekly update. We were super busy working on the closed BETA of the desert that is still plan before February. The focus is now on the FINAL battle of the game and the ending cinematic. We don't want to rush it and have a low quality ending compared to the rest of the game.
Tomorrow, we'll have a big meeting about it to pick a date.
Is it just me or fixing the moving rings is kind of hypnotic?

Thank you for reading our short update. We'll have more to say soon, when the closed BETA will be ready.

Weekly Update #87: Cinematic, coming Closed BETA, and pricing
Hi Fox Riders,
Last week we worked on various things such as the cinematics, but also fixed bugs to have the closed BETA of the desert ready before the end of January as promised.
Here are a few teasers.
New pricing
During the early access of Nanotale, we received a lot of wonderful feedback and suggestions from players about features to add and improvements on existing ones. According to that, we decided to take more time to push Nanotale's quality forward.
For those reasons, we took the decision to increase to price from $14.99 to $19.99. Most of you already own the game, but for the ones who are still waiting for the finale release, we wanted to let you know before the final release planned around March-April 2021.
Thank you for watching,
Cheers, -VirginRedemption
Weekly Update #86: Happy New Year!
Hi Fox Riders,
Happy New Year! Let's hope that 2021 will be better than 2020. But it can't be worst than that right?!
Most of us were on Holidays during the last two weeks, excepted for our dear programmers who continued to work on debugging the game.
So, what happened during these two weeks?
We won the Indie of the Year on Indie DB
Thanks to our amazing community who voted for us, we managed to reach that top 10 and win the award. Thank you again.
Camera Dissolve
Our Programmers worked on having some parts of bigger elements disappearing when you are under them. It still needs some tweaks but we already have something interesting.
More Camera Close-ups
We added some camera close-up and improved the existing ones to make the dialogue and lore discovery more interesting as it gives you another camera angle.
BONUS
Quick timelapse while creating a scene in Nanotale.
And Bruno felt lonely at the studio, so he took his dog to keep him company while working. And then, one of our artists gave the dog a Nanotale vibe.
Thank you for reading!
More news soon about the coming BETA of the Desert.
Cheers, -VirginRedemption
Weekly Update #85: More improvements, party, and Holidays
Hi Fox Riders,
Last week, we published the new update of Nanotale with the voice-overs. That took us most of the week. Meanwhile, we also continued to improve the game and implement small additions. Did you try the new update? Would love to have your feedback about it.
Here's one of the small additions in post-prod that bring so much to the player's experience. We wanted our main menu to change depending on the biome you are currently exploring in the game. Here the desert.

Thank you for reading! Wishing you all good holidays and a happy new year!

Weekly Update #84: Voice over and help
Hi Fox Riders,
Last week we focused on sorting and implementing all the voice over from the game. So happy to share this with you. The voice you can hear is Jenn Henry who’s playing her Majesty The Queen. She’s amazing and very nice to work with. What do you think? We are now testing it to make sure that everything is fine. Once it's done, we'll update the game with all the voices.
[previewyoutube="cdq5WXWbVC0;full"]
Improvements
There are no small improvements. Some areas were too messy, with too many decorative elements (grass, ruins), and the ground color was too similar to our main character's outfit making her barely visible. The joy of post-production.
Please help us again
Woke up last Friday to see that we made it to the Indie of the Year top 100 on IndieDB. Thank you so much for your votes. Weird thing with that award is that people have to vote for your game twice: one time to reach the top 100 and one another time once you are in the top 100. It means that you have to ask for a double engagement and I feel that it’s asking a lot. But it you could visit the page and vote one more time for us so we can at least reach top 10, it would be awesome. I’ll keep you in touch after the results in 6 days.
