IMPORTANT: Raider Attacks on Peace Server Begin Friday, May 16
Captains,
Starting Friday, May 16, Raiders will begin attacking ports on the Peace Server.
Please review the detailed guide on Port Battle Timers and Raiders available on the official forum: https://forum.bermudaclub.net/topic/44321-port-battle-timers-and-raiders-overhauled-systems-explained/
Reminder on Port Battle Ship Limits
You can easily judge which ship you can take into a battle by looking at Port BR:
325 BR - from Lynx [[b]Min BR 13] to Le Gros Ventre Refit [[b]Max BR 40]
1000 BR - from Lynx [[b]Min BR 13] to Le Gros Ventre Refit [[b]Max BR 40]
1450 BR - from Mortar Brig [[b]Min BR 15] to Wapen von Hamburg [[b]Max BR 120]
2975 BR - from Mortar Brig [[b]Min BR 15] to Wapen von Hamburg [[b]Max BR 120[TAG-30]]
3300 BR - from Mortar Brig [[b]Min BR 15] to Duke of Kent [[b]Max BR 353]
6000 BR[TAG-40] - from Mortar Brig [[b]Min BR 15] to Duke of Kent [[b]Max BR 353]
Port Battle ship limits are based on BR, not ship rank.
For example, in Port Battles with a BR limit of 1450 or 2975, you can bring any ship with a BR lower than Wapen of Hamburg (even if it’s a 3rd rate ship) and higher than Mortar Brig

May 5 Update – Resource Supply & Sailing Improvements
Captains,
The following changes were applied today, May 5:
Raw Resource Supply
NPC traders have significantly increased deliveries across the Caribbean, improving the overall availability of raw resources.
Sailing Tunes
Improved rudder penalty mechanics (speed loss during sustained turning). Lighter vessels are now performing better in sustained turns and lose less acceleration during turning.
Improved rudder efficiency: the drop in effectiveness at speeds below 40% is now smoother.
Please, let us know how lighter and medium vessels feel during turning after this improvement. This change will affect player AND NPC ships.

May 2 Update – Continued Improvements to Resource Supply
Captains,
The following changes were applied today, May 2:
Raw Resource Supply: NPC traders continue adjusting (increasing) deliveries across the Caribbean when a significant number of ports have zero stock for a specific resource at the end of the day — especially for raw materials required to craft gunpowder.
Other Fixes: Fixed an issue that prevented linking the Surgeon's Mates module in the chat.
May 1 Update – Resource Supply Improvements and Tutorial NPC Adjustment
Captains,
The following changes were applied today, May 1:
Raw Resource Supply: NPC traders started adjusting (increasing) deliveries across Caribbean if a good number of ports at the end of the day has zero stock for that resource.
Tutorial Brig NPC Adjustment: The combat performance of the Tutorial Brig NPC has been further slightly reduced to improve accessibility of the destruction exam.
April 30 Update – Resource Supply Overhaul and Balance Changes
Captains,
Following changes were applied today, April 30:
Resource Production and Supply Overhaul
We have begun a gradual adjustment to increase resource production stocks across the Caribbean.
While temporary shortages may still occur, overall supply levels are expected to stabilize by the end of the week.
Changes to the Resource Delivery System:
Previous System: NPCs stopped deliveries once port stock was full. Each delivery equaled the total production stock, preventing unused ports from accumulating resources.
New System:
Production ticks are now smaller but occur more frequently.
Production stocks have been significantly increased.
As a result, unvisited ports will now accumulate resources, allowing for redistribution via trade and helping reduce shortages across the map.
This change results in more consistent daily deliveries and an overall increase in resource supply throughout the Caribbean.
Other Changes:
Raider Attack Cooldown increased from 22 days to 30 days
Daily Raider Attacks reduced from 9 to 6
Slightly increased sail hitpoints for all ships
Slightly reduced mast hitpoints for all ships
Improved 2pd gun penetration curves to match medium guns
Reduced performance of the Tutorial Brig NPC, as currently passing the destruction exam was too hard even for experienced players
